    Exploring Intention in Using Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard: Technology Acceptance Model Approach

    Purpose - This research examines the influence of people's intention to use QRIS by taking variables from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, attitude towards usage of QRIS and behavioral intention to use QRIS. Methodology - This research method uses a quantitative approach with a sampling technique chosen through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to QRIS users. Data analysis employed SmartPLS version 4 with a sample size of 100 respondents. Findings - The results show a positive relationship but not a significant effect between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use QRIS. Meanwhile, perceived trust and attitude towards usage of QRIS exhibited a positive relationship and had a significant effect. Originality – Trust is an influential variable and plays a significant role in using a technology such as QRIS

    Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Program Studi Fotografi Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi visual masyarakat Wonogiri pameran fotografi bernilai historis. Berdasarkan informasi dari mitra, Forum Taman Baca Masyarakat Kabupaten Wonogiri, tingkat literasi visual masyarakat Wonogiri masih stagnan meskipun sudah terjadi peningkatan sedikit. Kenyataan ini berkorelasi dengan kesadaran sejarah masyarakat yang masih rendah. Dampaknya adalah kreativitas dan inovatif untuk memanfaatkan potensi daerah masih belum maksimal. Oleh sebab itu, tim PKM Program Studi Fotografi ISI Surakarta merancang kegiatan pameran dan diskusi fotografi bertema Wonogiri Tempo Doeloe. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi-pelaporan. Hasil kegiatan PKM adalah terlaksananya pameran dan diskusi fotografi Wonogiri Tempo Doeloe di Baturetno Kabupaten Wonogiri pada 8 September 2023. Pameran fotografi memanfaatkan teknik storytelling agar pengunjung mendapat informasi dan pengalaman berdasarkan sumber visual dan oral. Indikator keberhasilan adalah antusiasme pengunjung dalam menanggapi kegiatan pameran dan diskusi. Pengunjung mengharapkan kegiatan pameran berbasis historis dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM mendatang diharapkan dapat mengajak mitra-mitra lain yang memiliki komitmen untuk mengembangkan potensi Wonogiri melalui pameran fotografi berbasis kesejarahan

    Di era teknologi seperti saat ini, seluruh praktisi pendidikan bisa mengakses sumber daya pendidikan digital, termasuk pada pendidik di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK). Pendidikan kejuruan sendiri memiliki kualitas yang berbeda dari jenis pendidikan lainnya. Orientasi pendidikan kejuruan adalah kesesuaiannya dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja karena bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan agar dapat bersaing dalam pasar tenaga kerja. Alangkah penting bagi guru SMK untuk melek teknologi karena kunci keberhasilan pengajaran di abad-21 adalah kemampuan menggunakan alat dan teknologi digital dengan efektif untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran telah membawa perubahan paradigma tidak hanya dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi juga mempengaruhi pelaksanaan asesmen. Dengan menyusun asesmen digital, guru SMK memperoleh berbagai kemudahan dalam mewujudkan tujuan utamanya yaitu mengukur kemampuan hasil belajar siswa berupa keahlian praktis dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk menjadi tenaga kerja yang siap pakai. Pelatihan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan guna memberi edukasi kepada guru guru SMKN Batujaya yang berfokus pada pengenalan dan pengoperasian aplikasi digital untuk penerapan asesmen dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Perbandingan hasil pre-survey dan post-survey pada peserta pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada responden terkait kemampuan mengembangkan asesmen digital

    Kompleks Bukit Pamulang Indah merupakan kompleks yang penduduknya aktif dalam kegiatan bermasyarakat. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat memberikan manfaat kepada warga adalah dengan memberikan kegiatan pembelajaran. Penting untuk selalu terbuka terhadap kesempatan untuk belajar dan meningkatkan diri, baik melalui pendidikan formal atau informal. Belajar sambil praktik dapat membantu mengatasi masalah ketika seseorang kesulitan memahami konsep secara teoretis. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari kegiatan pelatihan kepada masyarakat adalah peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat dengan memperoleh keterampilan. Metode ditawarkan oleh tim PkM adalah pelatihan praktek hidroponik. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari kegiatan PkM tahun sebelumnya yang berupa perancangan taman belajar online terbuka yang berisi content pembelajaran. Salah satu content pembelajaran tersebut berupa pembelajaran hidroponik. Pengolahan limbah organik rumah tangga menghasilkan produk eco-enzym yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan kebersihan rumah tangga. Pembuatan sabun batangan berbahan eco-enzyme mempunyai kelebihan mudah digunakan, praktis dan penyimpanan yang tahan lama. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberi pemahaman dan pelatihan pembuatan sabun batangan berbahan limbah organik yang diolah menjadi eco-enzym. Audien yang merupakan ibu-ibu sangat antusias melakukan praktek pembuatan dan mengevaluasi keberhasilan produk, efikasi dan iritasi yang mungkin ditimbulkan.     THE ADOPTION OF DIGITAL TEXTBOOKS IN DISTANCE LEARNING

    In recent years, the widespread adoption of digital textbooks has revolutionized the way students access educational content. Technology has advanced quickly, and as a result, textbooks are now available to students worldwide in digital form, which has improved their overall academic performance. This modification is acceptable for the sustainable learning program, where students have access to materials from anywhere and at any time and digital textbooks promote online learning. This study intends to examine the variables influencing elementary distance learner students’ intentions to adopt digital textbooks. Structured equation modeling (SEM) was used to evaluate quantitative data from 316 higher education students in Indonesia. According to the findings, students' intentions to use digital books were positively impacted by facilitating condition (Conway & Huffcutt), performance expectancy (PE), self-efficacy (SE), and perceived learning opportunities (PLO). However, attitude, affective, ICT usage habits, effort expectancy, and social influences did not affect students’ intention to use digital textbooks. This research provides important information for the government, decision-makers, and schools on using digital textbooks at the tertiary level in the future

    EVALUATING UI/UX OF PHONETICS AUGMENTED REALITY

    This study aimed to evaluate augmented reality of phoneme. This study followed an observation-discussion process in which the researcher provided applications and checklists to the participants. Participants were asked to operate the application and fill out a checklist where the researcher discussed the use of the application. The research results show that participants are satisfied with the UI display and want minor improvements so that the display is better and equipped with more complete information. while for UX, participants agreed that the application was easy to use and helped the learning process. From the trial, the researcher summarized several things that needed to be corrected and errors that had not been detected before, such as speech errors. The author presents follow-up results from the last part of AR application development. The results of this trial are the final stage which answers whether this application is feasible to be launched

    Digital transformation in the bureaucratic environment is not something new, but it appears that it has not been implemented evenly and quickly, both in its implementation and in adapting to technology transfer by the bureaucracy and service users. Digital-based bureaucratic implementation is still dominant in financial matters. The end of 2019 was a momentum to accelerate the digital transformation of the bureaucracy, because the bureaucracy was faced with a situation where it was inevitable that they had to use digital services to avoid physical connections considering the corona virus or Covid-19 outbreak. No exception, civil servant competency development activities through training must be carried out with a new concept, namely digitally. Learning Management System (LMS) in training activities as a solution so that competency development can still be implemented. Of course, this must be adapted according to the demands of needs while still considering effectiveness and efficiency. The manifestation of the accelerated transformation of competency development through digital learning can be seen from various LMS implementation policies by the State Administration Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LAN RI) as the supervisory agency. This scientific paper will analyze the application of LMS in the implementation of competency development through training attended by civil servants. Apart from that, it will also explain how it is implemented by elements of training organizers and managers as well as widyaiswara as facilitators to training participants. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative which will interpret the phenomena found at the BPSDM research location in Gorontalo Province. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling of Widyaiswara, Latsar participants, PKA participants, PKP participants, training managers and training organizers. A literature study was carried out to understand the concept of implementing an LMS based on existing regulations and to interpret studies in the literature related to digital transformation, especially LMS. The research results illustrate that LMS is very useful for developing employee competency, but its use is still deemed to be less effective due to the limitations of training participants, training organizers and managers as well as Widyaiswara in exploring the use of the LMS provided by LAN RI

    Analisis Strategi Penerjemahan Idiom Pada Novel “I Rise” Karya Marie Arnold

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis idiom, menjelaskan strategi penerjemahan, serta mengetahui strategi penerjemahan idiom yang banyak digunakan dalam menerjemahkan idiom pada novel “I Rise” karya Marie Arnold. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh penulis adalah idiom tidak dapat diterjemahkan secara harfiah maka diperlukan strategi penerjemahan yang tepat untuk menerjemahkannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deksriptif kualitatif. Ditemukan data sebanyak 30 idiom dalam novel. Penelitian ini menggunakan novel karya Marie Arnold yang bejudul “I Rise”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan empat strategi penerjemahan teori Baker, ditemukan bahwa 30 idiom yang ditemukan pada novel “I Rise” terdapat tiga strategi yang digunakan, yaitu; 1). Strategi penerjemahan idiom similar meaning and form sebanyak 6 idiom; 2). Strategi penerjemahan idiom similar meaning but dissimilar form sebanyak 13 idiom; 3). Strategi penerjemahan parafrase sebanyak 11 idiom. Strategi penerjemahan yang paling banyak digunakan adalah strategi penerjemahan idiom similar meaning but dissimilar form

    The Roles of Translators and Interpreters: Opportunities and Challenges in Translation and Interpreting Activity

    This research explores the roles of translators and interpreters in the 21st century, focusing on their differences in work methods, language type focus, context understanding, translation style, processing time, translator tool assistance, role in communication, and additional skills. This research is library research. The analysis shows that both professionals require a deep understanding of culture and language, expert knowledge, and clear communication. Translators must understand cultural knowledge for negotiations, while interpreters facilitate communication between people speaking different languages. They must consider non-verbal cues, and have excellent language skills, quick thinking, effective information processing, and in-depth knowledge of the culture and business practices associated with the languages they translate. Interpreters can use the SIS (Simultaneous Interpretation System) tool or not. In the 21st century, translation and interpretation are complex professions that require adaptability and diverse abilities to navigate globalization. Technical and non-technical factors influence translation continuity, with technical factors like sound systems and lighting affecting quality. Training programs for translators and interpreters have emerged, with certification being a key requirement for recognition
