Get PDFThere are many methods for finding option pricing. In this paper, two mehods will be presented, Black-Scholes model and binomial model. For the number of time periods increases to infinity and the length of each time period is infinitesimally short, option pricing from the binomial model converges to the Black-Scholes model.
Terdapat beberapa metode untuk menentukan harga opsi. Dalam artikel ini dibahas dua metode, yaitu model Binomial dan model Black-Scholes. Dengan semakin meningkatnya periode waktu maka harga opsi juga akan semakin meningkat dengan perbedaan yang cukup kecil, secara analisis model binomial harga opsi akan konvergen ke model Black-Scholes

Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of internal individual factors (such as auditor organizational commitment and turnover intention) on acceptance of a premature sign-off. The data sources of this study were auditors who working in audit firms in Indonesia. The data was collected using survey method by sending questionnaires to the respondents by mail. There were 236 respondents participating in this study. The result of this study shown that organizational commitment and turnover intention have influence to acceptance of a premature sign-off. Organizational commitment has influence to turn over intention.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal individu (seperti komitmen organisasional auditor dan turnover intention) pada penerimaan prematur sign-off. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah auditor yang bekerja di perusahaan audit di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan mengirimkan kuesioner kepada responden melalui pos. Ada 236 responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan turnover intentionmempunyai pengaruh terhadap penerimaan prematur sign-off. PENGARUH IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA DI UNIT PELAKSANA TEKNIS KURIKULUM KECAMATAN JASINGA KABUPATEN BOGOR
Get PDFThe research analyzed the influence of organizational climate dimension on the work productivity at the Local Technical Service Unit (UPTK) for Pre-Elementary and Elementary Education in the Jasinga Sub District of Bogor District. The research used explanatory survey method. Purposive sampling was the technique used to obtained samples. Data were collected by means of questionnaires, interviews and observations. The questionnaires were given to 75 people at the UPTK and they were all returned. The method used to analyze the data is path analysis. Statistical result showed that the variable dimension of the organizational climate has positive and significant impact on the productivity. The UPTK in the Jasinga Sub District of Bogor was totality consistent in giving meaning to the nature of conducive organizational climate. But in order to increase the effectivity and efficiency of the work productivity, it is necessary to socialize the organizations vision and mission, to increase the intensity of the communication, to share responsibility on everybody, to motivate the human resource involved in the job, to encourage reward and punishment, and to provide technological facilities needed to support the organization.
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh dimensi iklim organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Kurikulum (UPTK) Kecamatan Jasinga Kabupaten Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanatori. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan dan bertujuan tertentu. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket, wawancara dan observasi. Angket disebarkan kepada 75 orang pada UPTK Kecamatan Jasinga, dan angket kembali semuanya. Metode analisis data yang digunakan penulis adalah analisis jalur. Hasil pengujian statistik menunjukkan bahwa dimensi variabel iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. UPTK Kecamatan Jasinga Kabupaten Bogor secara total konsisten dalam memberikan pemaknaan terhadap hakikat iklim organisasi yang kondusif terhadap organisasinya. Tetapi untuk lebih meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi produktivitas kerja dipandang perlu untuk mensosialisasikan visi dan misi organisasi, meningkatkan intensitas arus komunikasi, menanamkan tanggung jawab, memotivasi sumber daya manusia yang terlibat dalam pekerjaan, menegakkan sistem imbalan dan sanksi dan melengkapi sarana prasarana teknologi yang diperlukan untuk mendukung organisasi
PENGETAHUAN MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA BANDA ACEH TENTANG SISTEM BELAJAR JARAK JAUH
Get PDFStudents knowledge on system for open and distance learning (ODL) is important since the information will be useful in improving students services. This article discusses students understanding on ODL system and factors that affect it. The sample were 380 students from UPBJJ-UT Banda Aceh. Data collection was carried out from May to October 2011. Correlation test of Rank Spearman was used to analyze the data. The results showed that (1) students knowledge on distance learning system was low (2) factors which influence students knowledge on ODL system were the ability in using internet, study group and information access.
Pengetahuan mahasiswa UT tentang sistem belajar jarak jauh adalah hal yang menarik untuk diteliti mengingat informasi dasar tersebut dapat digunakan dalam menentukan strategi pelayanan yang paling efektif. Artikel ini membahas pemahaman mahasiswa UT Banda Aceh tentang sistem belajar jarak jauh (SBJJ). Selain itu juga dipaparkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap SBJJ. Sampel adalah 380 orang mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Banda Aceh. Data dikumpulkan dari bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2011. Untuk menganalisa data digunakan korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Banda Aceh tentang sistem SBJJ sangat rendah. Selain itu, kemampuan menggunakan internet, kelompok belajar, dan akses terhadap informasi berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman mahasiswa pada sistem SBJJ
PENGARUH TUTORIAL ONLINE TERHADAP NILAI AKHIR SEMESTER (KASUS MATAKULIAH MANAJEMEN STRATEGI DI UPBJJ-UT BATAM)
Get PDFThis article discusses the influence of initiations materials, discussion and assignments in online tutorial to the final scores of Strategic Management course at Batam UTs regional center. There were at least 23% of respondents who stated their disagreement on each statement in the instrument. However, initiation materials, discussion and assignments were significantly influenced the final score. The three independent variables were able to explain 72,8% of variance in courses final score.
Artikel ini membahas pengaruh inisiasi, diskusi dan tugas pada tutorial online terhadap nilai akhir semester pada matakuliah Manajemen Strategi di UPBJJ-UT Batam. Terdapat paling sedikit 23% responden menyatakan ketidak setujuan mereka sebagai jawaban terhadap pernyataan yang diberikan pada instrumen. Namun demikian, secara statistik, inisiasi, diskusi dan tugas mempengaruhi nilai akhir semester matakuliah secara signifikan. Ketiga variabel ini mampu menjelaskan varians pada nilai akhir semester sebesar 72,8%.
 
PEMANFAATAN UMBI TALAS SEBAGAI BAHAN SUBTITUSI TEPUNG TERIGU DALAM PEMBUATAN COOKIES YANG DISUPLEMENTASI DENGAN KACANG HIJAU

An alternative way to improve its nutritional composition is by the addition of green beans, as a protein source. This study was aimed to obtain the cookies formulation that use Lampung Taro flour enriched with green beans flour as a wheat flour substitution. The cookies were tested organoleptically by panelists using hedonic scale including color, aroma, taste, texture and general appearance. The acceptable cookies were analyzed their chemical characteristics. The results showed that Taro flour cookies with the content of 30%, 50%, and 60% Lampung Taro flour have received the best judgment from panelists. From the nutritional point these cookies were considered meet the nutritional value specified by SNI 1992 but the protein content was still below standard. The addition of 10% green beans flour was not able to improve the nutritional value of protein in the cookies.

MENGEMBANGKAN PROFESIONALISME PENDIDIK GURU (Kajian Konseptual Dan Operasional)
Get PDFThe role of teacher educators is becoming more and more important in fulfilling the need of profesional teachers as stated in the Indonesian Republic Law #14/2005 on Teacher and Lecturer. In order to be able to educate profesional teachers and teacher candidates, the teacher educators alone should be profesional, and have willingness to continuously develop profesionalism. Developing profesionalism is a must for teacher educators, due to four reasons: (1) the nature of profesionalism, (2) the rapid development of science, technology and arts, (3) the life-long learning paradigm, and (4) the demand of Law # 14/2005 on Teacher and Lecturer. But the data on teacher educators from several Teacher Education Institutions indicate that not all of teacher educators show willingness to develop profesionalism. Therefore, profesionalism development should be encouraged by all parties related to teachers and teacher educators. There are many activities that can be undergone by teacher educators in order to develop profesionalism, some of which are: taking further study, taking relevant courses, regular self reflection, joining academic activities (seminar, workshop, training,etc.), school familiarization, conducting research, and publishing scientific article.
Peran pendidik guru menjadi lebih dan lebih penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan guru profesional sebagaimana tercantum dalam Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia # 14/2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Agar dapat mendidik guru profesional dan calon guru, pendidik guru sendiri harus profesional, dan memiliki kemauan untuk terus mengembangkan profesionalisme. Mengembangkan profesionalisme adalah suatu keharusan bagi pendidik guru, karena empat alasan: (1) sifat profesionalisme, (2) perkembangan pesat ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni, (3) paradigma pembelajaran seumur hidup, dan (4) permintaan Hukum # 14/2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Namun data pada pendidik guru dari Lembaga Pendidikan Guru beberapa menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua pendidik guru menunjukkan kesediaan untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan profesionalisme harus didorong oleh semua pihak yang terkait dengan guru dan pendidik guru. Ada banyak kegiatan yang dapat dialami oleh pendidik guru dalam rangka mengembangkan profesionalisme, beberapa diantaranya adalah: mengambil studi lebih lanjut, mengambil kursus yang relevan, refleksi diri secara teratur, bergabung dengan kegiatan akademik (seminar, lokakarya, pelatihan, dll), pengenalan sekolah , melakukan penelitian, dan penerbitan artikel ilmiah.

Get PDFThis research examines the role and function of internal control system of government institutions in minimalizing accounting misstatement. Using qualitative descriptive research method, the object of this study incorporates the local government of Kabupaten Bojonegoro for the financial statements of year 2007-2009. The results shows that the increase quality of the Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) opinion about financial statements of Kabupaten Bojonegoro were influenced by the improvement of internal control system function and optimalization of internal auditor role in every Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) in Kabupaten Bojonegoro. This research supports previous findings that internal control system has significant function and role in minimalizing accounting misstatement
