PERSEPSI MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA BOGOR TERHADAP TREN TUWEB SEBAGAI LAYANAN BELAJAR DARING
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the perception of UPBJJ-UT Bogor students towards the implementation of webinar tutorial learning (tuweb) as a substitute for face-to-face tutorial services (TTM) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study was selected by random sampling technique and involved 400 student respondents. Research data were collected using an electronic questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to describe students' perceptions of readiness and implementation during tuweb learning. The results showed that students had a good perception of the implementation of tuweb, including accessibility, device ownership, ability to use technology, ease of obtaining materials, ease of learning materials, interactivity, learning independence, and satisfaction with tutor abilities
SMART DIGITAL LEARNING: A SNAPSHOT OF WEB-BASED LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Get PDFThis study aims to identify the use of Smart Digital Learning (SDL) as an alternative to web-based learning management systems (WLMS), web-based presentations, and web-based modules. The research approach used in this study is the Research and Development method. The data analysis technique uses a descriptive calculation of proportions derived from student response data, expert tests and media tests on the products produced. A total of 72 students from three different classes were included as research respondents. The results of this study found that SDL can facilitate independent learning, arouse student interest in learning, present multimodal texts, can be designed based on learning needs, can be used as a website portfolio, interaction between users must be increased, and requires a stable internet connection
EDUKASI MENGENAI INFORMASI BOHONG (HOAKS) DI KALANGAN GURU BERBASIS LITERASI
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to analyze the educational needs of teachers regarding hoaxes and provide preventive measures to prevent hoaxes among teachers. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate the importance of education programs regarding hoax information among teachers so that teachers do not immediately conclude the contents of the news without reading in detail about the contents of the news. In addition, teachers have more literacy awareness in seeking clarification of the truth about a hoax, reducing the rapid spread of hoaxes, and being able to spread digital literacy skills to students. Teachers as professionals have a strategic role to realize the vision of learning implementation. The development of science and technology brings logical consequences to the orientation of the development of teacher professionalism. The conclusion of this study is that a teacher needs to have digital literacy skills so that they are able to disseminate correct information
ALAM TAKAMBANG JADI GURU: MENELISIK FALSAFAH PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL DI MINANGKABAU
Get PDFThis study aims to reveal the meaning and reality of the philosophy of "Alam Takambang jadi Guru" as a view of life of the Minangkabau people and the implications and efforts to maintain this philosophy through literature review. This research method is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research is naturalistic because it is carried out in natural conditions through social observation and literature review based on the latest theories and research results. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that several things, namely (1) the philosophy of "Alam Takambang Jadi Guru" has an important meaning for the Minangkabau community that nature is not just a place to live and develop, but as a source of lifelong learning and nature as a gift from God Almighty, (2 ) the philosophy of "Alam Takambang jadi Guru" has implications for both formal and non-formal education in the life of the Minangkabau community, and (3) efforts to maintain the philosophy of "Alam Takambang jadi Guru" can be carried out through culture experience and culture knowledge
The Effect of Corporate Governance and Company Size on Tax Avoidance
Get PDFPurpose – This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance and company size on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies.
Methodology – The population includes all the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2019 and the 288 companies used as samples were selected through the purposive sampling method. A regression model was used for analysis.
Findings – The results showed that institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and audit committee did not affect tax avoidance but managerial ownership and firm size have some influence. It was recommended that companies improve good governance by reducing their tax avoidance policies while other variables such as audit quality, executive character, liquidity, accounting conservatism, and capital intensity are suggested to be added to further studies related to tax avoidance.
Originality – The novelty of this study is examine all corporate governance mechanisms consist of institutional ownership, independent commissioner, audit committee, and managerial share ownership on tax avoidance
Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Sekolah Dasar Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19
Get PDFPandemi Covid-19 memiliki banyak dampak terhadap kehidupan bermasyarakat. Salah satu perubahan yang dirasakan adalah dalam bidang pendidikan di mana pembelajaran di sekolah diputuskan untuk dilaksanakan secara online. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, pendidikan karakter tidak boleh diabaikan begitu saja, terutama di jenjang sekolah dasar. Pada jenjang ini, pendidikan karakter sangat dibutuhkan untuk perkembangan para siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah kajian pustaka. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dibutuhkan oleh siswa sekolah dasar meskipun pembelajaran harus dilaksanakan di rumah. Pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak boleh diabaikan dan harus menyesuaikan dengan kondisi siswa serta situasi Covid-19. Kesimpulan dari studi ini adalah guru harus mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap muatan pembelajaran, seperti nilai religius, tanggungjawab, toleransi, dan kerja keras
PEMANFAATAN SERBUK GERGAJI KAYU UNTUK BUDIDAYA JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH (PLEUROTUS OSTREATUS) DI KELOMPOK MASYARAKAT DESA PASIR KIDUL
Get PDFPasir Kidul Village is one of the industrial villages in West Purwokerto District, Banyumas. Wood industrial waste (pencil factory), namely wood sawdust and wood chips accumulate and disturb the surrounding environment. One of the uses of this waste is the raw material for white mushroom baglog (Pleurotus ostreatus). This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to utilize wood sawdust for the cultivation of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) in community groups in Pasir Kidul Village, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. This PKM is held for 5 months, from August to December 2018. There are 19 community groups in this community partnership program, with the target that after counseling, training and assistance in the application of "white oyster mushroom cultivation" technology can be applied to 80% of the program participants. The extension stages were training on how to make lemur and baglog for white oyster mushroom cultivation, training on planting seeds and maintaining white oyster mushroom cultivation media, counseling on the influence of types of growing media on white oyster mushroom production, and counseling on environmental factors as determinants of the success of white oyster mushroom cultivation. Some of the problems found by farmers who have carried out cultivation are Baglog sterilization and baglog rot. The results of the community partnership program show that there is an optimization of the utilization of wood sawdust waste which is abundant in the village, by processing wood sawdust into a growing medium for white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) so that it has a higher useful value and selling value.
Pasir Kidul adalah Kelurahan di Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat, Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Desa Pasir Kidul merupakan salah satu desa industri dengan terdapatnya industri pengolahan kayu (pabrik pensil) yang berdampak langsung dengan melimpahnya limbah padat berupa serbuk gergaji kayu dan serpihan kayu yang terbuang menumpuk di suatu lokasi tertentu yang dapat mengganggu kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Selama ini, serbuk gergaji kayu dibiarkan membusuk, ditumpuk dan dibakar yang berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan sehingga penanggulangannya perlu dipikirkan. Salah satu upaya untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan menumpuknya serbuk gergaji kayu di Desa Pasir Kidul adalah pemanfaatan serbuk gergaji kayu untuk budidaya jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) di kelompok masyarakat Desa Pasir Kidul Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat Kabupaten Banyumas. Upaya daur ulang serbuk gergaji kayu yaitu dengan memanfaatkan serbuk gergaji kayu tersebut untuk media tanam jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Menurut Rachman dan Malik (2011), jika dilihat dari mata rantai industri pengolahan kayu, maka dalam industri penggergajian terjadi proses perubahan kayu pertama kali yaitu kayu dalam bentuk dolok menjadi kayu gergajian (sawn timber) atau disebut juga kayu konversi berupa papan, balok, tiang dan sortimen lainnya.
PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN MEDIA RODA BERPUTAR DI PAUD ISLAM TERPADU AS-SUBHAN

The method used is through material presentation and demonstration. The targets for this activity are 1 principal and 2 teachers at the As-Subhan Integrated Islamic PAUD. The result of this activity is that principals and teachers can find out the benefits of using spinning wheel media, can make wheels spin media, and can use spinning wheels media for classroom learning.
Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan media roda berputar kepada Guru di PAUD Islam Terpadu As-Subhan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui pemaparan materi dan demonstasi. Sasaran pada kegiatan ini yaitu 1 Kepala Sekolah dan 2 Guru di PAUD Islam Terpadu As-Subhan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru dapat mengetahui manfaat penggunaan media roda berputar, dapat membuat media roda berputar, serta dapat menggunakan media roda berputar bagi pembelajaran di kelas
TEKNOLOGI TEPAT GUNA AQUAPONIK
Get PDFSaat ini lahan untuk budidaya ikan dan tanaman makin terbatas. Padahal kebutuhan pangan yang sehat untuk keluarga dan anak-anak merupakan suatu keharusan. Ditambah lagi pandemi yang melanda negara kita, yang secara otomatis mengurangi penghasilan sebagian besar orang tua, maka dibutuhkan alternatif penyediaan bahan pangan. Berdasarkan hasil survey di lapangan ditemukan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang jumlah konsumsi ikan dan sayurannya masih sangat kurang. Selain itu, guru dan orang tua murid sebagian besar berpenghasilan terbatas, sehingga tidak bisa menyiapkan menu makan secara lengkap. Solusi yang ditawarkan oleh tim pelaksana IbM adalah melakukan transfer ipteks dan memberikan keterampilan penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna Aquaponik dengan memanfaatkan halaman sekolah dan pekarangan rumah yang terbatas. Aquaponik merupakan sistem budidaya yang menggabungkan tanaman dan ikan dalam satu wadah. Proses dimana tanaman memanfaatkan unsur hara yang berasal dari kotoran ikan yang apabila dibiarkan di dalam kolam akan menjadi racun bagi ikannya. Lalu tanaman akan berfungsi sebagai filter vegetasi yang akan mengurai zat racun tersebut menjadi zat yang tidak berbahaya bagi ikan, dan suplai oksigen pada air yang digunakan untuk memelihara ikan. Dengan diberikannya keterampilan pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat pada guru, orang tua murid dan juga murid. Manfaat bagi guru dan orang tua murid adalah bisa menyiapkan ikan dan sayuran yang segar dari hasil usaha sendiri, sedangkan untuk siswa memberikan dampak untuk lebih senang makan ikan dan sayur
