Perspektif Filosofis dalam Pendidikan Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh
Get PDFKajian filosofis atas berbagai sistem belajar atau pendidikan secara umum menjadi penting sebagai dasar dalam menilai maupun mengeksekusi berbagai kebijakan dalam pendidikan. Termasuk dalam pembelajaran terbuka dan jarak jauh, dimana landasan filosofisnya perlu dijabarkan agar proses pembelajaran di dalamnya dapat berjalan dengan lebih maksimal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan bagaimana perspektif filosofis berupa ontologi, epistemologi, aksiologi, dan juga etika diterjemahkan dalam pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran terbuka dan jarak jauh. Artikel ini disusun dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang ditunjang dengan pengumpulan data dengan metode studi pustaka. Dari hasil pembahasan diketahui bahwa secara filosofis, sistem PTJJ merupakan upaya yang dapat memungkinkan terpenuhinya kebutuhan pendidikan yang berdasarkan pada hakikat manusia, berupa keberbedaan, baik minat, kebutuhan dan kondisi kemampuan individu, serta menggunakan asas kesetaraan sebagai nilai filosofis di dalamnya
PELATIHAN PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN STEM DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK INTEGRATIF BAGI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM DI SURAKARTA
Get PDFThe government, parents, teachers must realize that the world of education is changing. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are interrelated subjects in human life. Most of the teachers at SD Djama'atul Ichwan Program Utama Surakarta admitted that they did not understand and had not been able to apply the STEM approach in integrative thematic learning so that there was a need for training on the STEM approach in integrative thematic learning. The goal to be achieved from this service program is to provide understanding and skills to apply the STEM approach in integrative thematic learning. The method of implementing the service includes: (1) The method of approach carried out starting from the survey, licensing, and providing motivation for teachers who will take part in the training; (2) The method of implementing the program, including the preliminary stage, the stage of socialization and hearings, the training stage, and the final evaluation stage. The results of the analysis of the teacher's response questionnaire to service activities indicate that teachers believe that the service provides benefits for the development of educational activities in schools, training materials for the application of the STEM approach in integrative thematic learning are in great demand and needed by teachers in the development of 21st-century learning and the 4.0 industrial revolution, and teachers feel the benefits of service activities because they can become new scientific insights in the development of learning activities in schools.
Pemerintah, orang tua, guru harus menyadari bahwa dunia pendidikan sangat berubah. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic (STEM) merupakan mata pelajaran yang saling berkaitan dalam kehidupan manusia. Sebagian besar guru di SD Djama’atul Ichwan Program Utama Surakarta mengaku belum memahami dan belum mampu menerapkan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran tematik integrative sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan tentang pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran tematik integratif. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari program pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan menerapkan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran tematik integratif. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi: (1) Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan mulai tahap survei, perijinan, dan pemberian motivasi bagi guru yang akan mengikuti pelatihan; (2) Metode pelaksanaan program, meliputi tahap pendahuluan, tahap sosialisasi dan audiensi, tahap pelatihan, serta tahap evaluasi akhir. Hasil analisis terhadap kuesioner tanggapan guru terhadap kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru meyakini bahwa adanya pengabdian memberikan manfaat bagi berkembangnya kegiatan pendidikan di sekolah, materi pelatihan penerapan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran tematik integratif sangat diminati dan dibutuhkan guru dalam pengembangan pembelajaran abad 21 dan revolusi industri 4.0, dan guru merasakan manfaat kegiatan pengabdian karena dapat menjadi wawasan keilmuan baru dalam pengembangan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah
PENDAMPINGAN DAN PENGUATAN FORUM TBM JAWA BARAT SEBAGAI SITUS KEWARGANEGARAAN
Get PDFThis activity aims to provide assistance on legal issues such as the completeness of letters and permits required for Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) in West Java in order to sustain their existence and optimize utilization. Many TBMs in West Java struggle to optimize their social movements due to a lack of financial support and an understanding of legal issues. Providing a space for dialogue, counseling, and mentoring is central to this program in supporting the optimization of the TBM Forum's role as a citizenship site that also supports the National Literacy Movement in the community. The activity method is divided into four stages: first, analyzing problems and determining primary steps with the TBM Forum, second, planning the implementation of implementation, third, mentoring and counseling via conference technology, and fourth, evaluation and next steps. This activity generates publications in the form of YouTube videos, news releases, and Intellectual Property Rights that support activities.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurai pendampingan atas permasalahan legalistik seperti kelengkapan surat dan izin yang diperlukan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat di Jawa Barat untuk mendukung eksistensi dan optimalisasi perannya. Banyak TBM di Jawa Barat mengalami keterbatasan dukungan dana dan pemahaman aspek legalistik untuk mengoptimalkan gerakan sosialnya tersebut. Dalam mendukung optimalisasi peran Forum TBM sebagai situs kewarganegaraan yang juga turut mendukung Gerakan Literasi Nasional di masyarakat, maka penyediaan ruang dialog, penyuluhan, dan pendampingan menjadi sentral dalam program ini. Metode kegiatan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, pertama menganalisis permasalahan dan menentukan langkah primer bersama Forum TBM, kedua merencanakan teknis pelaksanaan pendampingan, ketiga pelaksanaan pendampingan serta penyuluhan secara dialogis melalui teknologi konferensi, dan keempat evaluasi dan penentuan langkah selanjutnya. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan publikasi dalam bentuk rekaman video di Youtube, rilis berita, dan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual yang menunjang keberlanjutan kegiatan
PELATIHAN DALAM PENGGUNAAN INFORMED CONSENT PADA FASILITAS PELAYANAN KESEHATAN
Get PDFThis Community Service activity aims to improve the quality of health services through understanding the use of informed consent. This activity begins with an initial assessment of the current state of the field in health care facilities through health workers/health cadres and residents. The initial assessment found that there was still a lack of public knowledge about medical treatment for patients and knowledge related to the use of informed consent in health facilities, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic, the focus of health services is still centered on health protocols or physical distancing. The activity begins with preparing a plan and schedule of activities as well as the necessary equipment. The form of activities is packaged in the form of materials and videos that are shared via Google Drive online via WhatsApp groups. The activity ended with an evaluation using a google form. The results of community service activities there are as many as 57,69% of citizens' understanding in the good category, 26,92% sufficient and 15,38% less. Activities are going well and need further monitoring.
Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan melalui pemahaman penggunaan informed consent. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan penilaian awal kondisi terkini di lapangan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan melalui petugas kesehatan/kader kesehatan dan warga. Asesmen awal menemukan masih kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penanganan medis bagi pasien dan pengetahuan terkait penggunaan informed consent di fasilitas kesehatan terutama pada masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini, fokus pelayanan kesehatan masih berpusat pada kesehatan, protokol atau jarak fisik. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyusunan rencana dan jadwal kegiatan serta perlengkapan yang diperlukan. Bentuk kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk materi dan video yang dibagikan melalui google drive secara online melalui grup WhatsApp. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan evaluasi menggunakan google form. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terdapat sebanyak 57,69% pemahaman warga dalam kategori baik, 26,92% cukup dan 15,38% kurang. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan perlu pemantauan lebih lanjut
THE PHENOMENON OF ‘TRAVELOKA XPERIENCE’ FROM THE PERSPECTIVES OF ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA ENTHUSIASTS IN SURABAYA

Internet has provided everything we need just for a few clicks. This article will discuss about the new phenomenon in the entertainment industry called ‘Traveloka Xperience’. By using this feature, the users can easily search for everything related to entertainment facility they want in just one application such as traveling, eating, watching movies, going to spa, and many others. Qualitative descriptive approach will be used to help finding how the interaction built between the users and the text, as well as about the influence of Traveloka Xperience towards the fast development of entertainment industry business and how their users utilize this feature to fulfill their needs in searching for alternative entertainment facility. The result shows that there are still various entertainment business chances, especially some sort of start-up business. The users of Traveloka Xperience have also considered that these kinds of tertiary experiences are becoming something they need the most
Determinant Factors of Founding-Family Firms’ Performance in Indonesia
Get PDFThis research aims to examine the factors that moderate the effect of founding-family firms on performance. Moderating variables include firm reputation, risk-taking behavior, agency costs of managers-shareholders, and agency costs of majority-minority shareholders. Firms' performance includes accounting-based and market-based performance. This research uses 412 manufacturing firm-years listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange as the research sample. The hypotheses test uses a random-effect regression as the main test and a common-effect regression test as an alternative test. Based on data analysis, firm reputation, risk-taking behavior, agency costs of mangers-shareholders, and agency costs of majority-minority shareholders moderates the effect of the founding family on performance. It indicates that founding-family firms can achieve higher performance if they promote a higher firm reputation, lower risk-taking behavior, and lower agency costs. This research fills the previous findings gap of performance in the founding-family firms. This research captures when founding-family firms can improve performance or experience performance reduction. To the best of the author's knowledge, this research is also the first research that provides a comprehensive picture of determinant factors of founding-family firms' in Indonesia

Get PDFThis research aims to identify the representamen or sign, object, and interpretant on Tempo magazine cover of the 16-22 September 2019 edition. Tempo magazine carries political elements, and it is interesting to analyze. The caricature of the Indonesian President is used as the primary discussion to seek the messages that are being delivered. The magazine cover conveys meanings. This study uses qualitative research by using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. The study focuses on signs which are divided into three categories: representamen, object, and interpretant. The finding shows that the caricature implies that the President of Indonesia betrayed himself and the citizens. His promise to make the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stronger was only an empty promise. The controversial icon of Pinocchio is associated with the Indonesian president because of the revision of Law No. 30 2002 that weakens KPK

Analysis of the interviewsfound that there has been a paradigm shift in infrastructure development planning in Indonesiaincluding governance, decision-making approach, administrative rules, financing sources, budgetingmindset, government role, planning approach, project preparation, and planning process model. Inaddition, this research has also succeeded in identifying various aspects of future infrastructureplanning considerations. Thus, this research is useful, especially for decision makers, by providing abetter understanding of infrastructure development planning practices in Indonesia.Perencanaan infrastruktur merupakan sebuah proses menantang terutama bagi Indonesia yangmemiliki sumber daya investasi yang terbatas. Peningkatan Skill Opinion Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Debat
Get PDFAbstract: The purpose of this research is to develop the skill opinion of Economic Education students using the debate learning model. Pre-cycle observation results in students' opinion skills that are still at a low level of interpretation so that efforts are needed to improve it. The research subjects were 25 students of Economics Education who took Social Studies courses. Collecting research data using the observation method with a checklist sheet on each indicator. The research was carried out in two main cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle. The results showed that the debate model was able to improve opinion skills, both specifically and in general. Specifically, an increase in each indicator is known from the comparison of the average results of the pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2 stages on each indicator. Indicators of tolerance, courage, and substantive have a very significant increase from the low category to very high. The indicators of confidence and sentence structure increased from low to high level in cycle 2. The increase in opinion skills in general also experienced a very significant increase from the pre-cycle stage with a low level of interpretation to very high in cycle 2. In general, opinion skills of pre-cycle students included the level of interpretation. low with a success rate of 40%, increased to high in cycle 1 with a success rate of 60%, and again increased in a very high level of interpretation in cycle 2 with a success rate of 92%.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mengemukakan pendapat (skill opinion) mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi menggunakan model pembelajaran debat. Pengamatan prasiklus memperoleh hasil keterampilan berpendapat mahasiswa masih dalam level penafsiran rendah sehingga memerlukan adanya upaya untuk meningkatkannya. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi berjumlah 25 orang yang mengambil mata kuliah Pembelajaran IPS. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode observasi dengan lembar cheklist pada masing-masing indikator. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus utama dengan masing-masing 2 pertemuan tiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model debat mampu meningkatkan skill opinion baik secara spesifik maupun umum. Secara spesifik terjadi peningkatan pada masing-masing indikator diketahui dari perbandingan hasil rata-rata tahap prasiklus, siklus 1, dan siklus 2 pada masing-masing indikator. Indikator toleran, keberanian, dan substantif mengalami peningkatan sangat signifikan dari kategori rendah menjadi sangat tinggi. Indikator kepercayaan diri dan struktur kalimat mengalami peningkatan dari level rendah menjadi tinggi pada siklus 2. Peningkatan skill opinion secara umum juga mengalami peningkatan sangat signifikan dari tahap prasiklus dengan level penafsiran rendah menjadi sangat tinggi pada siklus 2. Secara umum skill opinion mahasiswa prasiklus termasuk level penafsiran rendah dengan tingkat keberhasilan 40%, meningkat menjadi tinggi pada siklus 1 tingkat keberhasilan 60%, dan kembali meningkat dalam level penafsiran sangat tinggi pada siklus 2 dengan tingkat keberhasilan 92%

Based on data obtained by the Department of Trade and Industry of Tanjungpinang City, the number of SMEs in 2022 to date is 925 SMEs. This study aims to determine the role of women in SMEs in Tanjungpinang City. This study uses a qualitative method by observing and collecting data obtained during an internship at the Department of Trade and Industry of Tanjungpinang City. Based on the results of the study, women SMEs in Tanjungpinang have an important role in the development of SMEs and the role of women in SMEs can help the family economy and can even help the national economy
