Analysis of Obstacles in Implementing The Finished Banknotes Business Model (A Case Study on Banknotes Printing in Indonesia)
Get PDFPurpose - Bank Indonesia as a central bank uses Perum Peruri as a banknote printing service provider. In general, Bank Indonesia is a consumer and a banknote paper provider that intends to change the business model from printing services to finished banknotes or end-to-end processes. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the obstacles faced while implementing the finished banknotes business model by Perum Peruri.
Methodology - A total of 9 obstacles were identified based on the literature and discussions with five experts from the banknotes printing industry, Bank Indonesia as a consumer and regulator, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, and the Indonesian Printing Security Association. An interpretive structural modeling analysis was used to measure the strength of the relationship between obstacles, develop hierarchical levels, and classify and rank each obstacle.
Findings - The results showed that the main obstacles included limited working capital, dependence on supplies of foreign banknotes, the complexity of their procurement, and barriers to accessing banking. These obstacles can be solved when Perum Peruri improves its capabilities and receives support from the government.
Originality - This study is original and provides new knowledge about the obstacles faced by banknote printing companies when changing their business model
PENERAPAN TAGUCHI DALAM OPTIMASI PARAMETER UNTUK PERBAIKAN PRODUK FACIAL WASH
Get PDFPT X is a company engaged in the cosmetic sector. The product with the biggest defect is the green tea tree oil facial wash. This study aims to reduce the number of defects by determining the optimal level setting on the product. The Taguchi method is one of the methods in the experimental design that can be used to control product quality from noise by minimizing variations. This research method uses Taguchi because this method combines experimental results through optimal factors and factor levels and at the same time reduces the number of experiments so as to save time and costs. The experimental factors are water, Nacl, cocamide DEA, citrid acid, mixing speed, mixing time and mixing temperature. The results of this study found that the dominant type of defect in the green tea tree oil facial wash products was the product with low viscosity. In this case, we used a nominal-is-best quality characteristic with a target of 37500 cPs. We found that the optimal setting for green tea tree oil facial wash products were 64.3% of water, 2% of cocamide DEA, 0.3% citric acid and 60 minutes for the mixing period

The opportunity to advance the world of education through online learning is a solution to meet educational standards through the use of information technology so that students and teachers are interconnected and the teaching and learning process can still be carried out properly through the use of technology. The method used in this study is qualitative, with approach content analysis and descriptive presentation. As a source of research data, the author examines documents in the form of text, news, journals, and newspapers. Although the pandemic had many negative consequences, it had a positive impact on the world of education. This positive impact can inspire the community to persevere in the face of adversity in order to achieve more advanced educational goals. Teacher Educators and Trainee Teachers' Attitude toward Online Teacher Education Courses
Get PDFThe purpose of the study was to explore the attitude toward Online Teacher Education Courses (OTECs). To that end, this study was carried out over the teacher educators and trainee teachers of Bangladesh Open University. Here, teacher educators represent the faculty members of the School of Education (SoE) of Bangladesh Open University (BOU), and trainee teachers represent the Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) students of BOU. A mixed research approach with triangulation was used to conduct the study with a descriptive survey, two Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and one key personnel interview. Data were collected from a total of 602 teacher trainees (182 were M.Ed. students and 420 were B.Ed. students) and 12 teacher educators, selected through multiple sampling techniques. The data revealed that the teacher educators and trainee teachers had a positive attitude towards online courses since the mean score of faculty members, M.Ed., and B.Ed. students of BOU were 3.60, 381, and 3.81, respectively. Considering all these aspects, this study suggested that SoE/BOU needs to decide rationally to shape its future Online Teacher Education Courses (OTECs). This research contributes to the basement of new knowledge through an explorative study with all the possible stakeholders covering the whole country of interest

Menghadapi situasi new normal dalam jangka waktu yang belum pasti bukan hal yang mudah untuk dijalani oleh seorang guru. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesiapan dan kompetensi yang perlu dimiliki guru untuk mendukung berjalannya pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermutu pada era new normal di massa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang telah dilakukan. Temuan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa guru harus mempunyai kesiapan dalam melakukan metode Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) di era new normal. Guru dituntut untuk mengubah metode pembelajaran menjadi lebih fleksibel dalam mengembangkan berbagai metode pembelajaran yang tetap akan berujung pada pencapaian standar kompetensi yang ada di kurikulum sekolah. Distance Learning Based on Human Literacy: An Alternative Learning to Foster Public Civility

Distance Education has a significant role in building the quality of Education in Indonesia, especially in developing human literacy. Get PDFMapping of potential disasters in a participatory manner supported by disaster mitigation training is a service activity that is very useful for Pokdarwis Payo Nature. This service program can improve soft skills and Pokdarwis in mapping potential disasters, and improve hard skills in disaster mitigation. Increasing the skills of Pokdarwis members can help create peace and comfort for people's lives, as well as security for tourists who visit. The method used is participatory training, knowledge transfer from the companion team is carried out by direct practice with Pokdarwis and the community. The activity lasted for 5 months with the offline training method, the service team came directly to the Payo Area service object.
Pemetaan potensi bencana secara partisipatif yang didukung dengan pelatihan mitigasi bencana merupakan kegiatan pengabdian yang sangat bermanfaat bagi Pokdarwis Payo Nature. Program pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan soft skill pokdarwis dalam memetakan potensi bencana, dan meningkatkan hard skill dalam melakukan mitigasi bencana. Peningkatan skill pada anggota Pokdarwis tersebut dapat membantu menciptakan ketentraman dan kenyamanan bagi kehidupan masyarakat, sekaligus keamanan bagi wisatawan yang melakukan kunjungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif, transfer ilmu dari tim pendamping yang dilaksanakan dengan praktek langsung bersama pokdarwis dan masyarakat. Kegiatan berlangsung selama 5 bulan dengan metode pelatihan luar jaringan (luring), tim pengabdi datang secara langsung di objek pengabdian Kawasan Payo. Hasil pengabdian berupa peningkatan kemampuan pokdarwis dalam melakukan mitigasi bencana dan memetakan potensi bencana di wilayahnya. Kemampuan ini tidak hanya dapat dimanfaatkan ketika terjadi bencana, tetapi sepanjang masa, bukan hanya untuk melindungi wisatawan, tetapi juga seluruh masyarakat di Kawasan Payo, Kelurahan Tanah Garam, Kecamatan Lubuk Sikarah, Kota Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat
The Effect of Training, Human Resources Competence and Innovation on MSMEs Performance in Post Covid-19: Empirical Study of MSMEs in Bengkalis Regency

Besides being used to assess the success of MSMEs, performance measurement can also be used as a basis for determining the reward system, for example, to determine the level of employee salaries and appropriate rewards. This study aims to evaluate the effect of training, human resources competence, and innovation on the performance of MSMEs in Bengkalis Regency post-Covid-19. The population used in this study is MSMEs in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The sample in this study is 100 MSMEs selected using predetermined criteria. The data used in this study is primary data collected using a questionnaire instrument. The sampling method of this study is simple random sampling. The data analysis is performed using a multiple linear regression model with Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software version 23.0. The results showed that training, human resource competence, and innovation had a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs

Get PDFAnalisis Efisiensi Pemasaran Bawang Merah Varietas Lembah Palu di Kabupaten Sigi Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru sebagai pusat produksi komoditi bawang merah varietas Lembah palu. Penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan metode snow ball sampling. Teknik analisa data menganalisis marjin pemasaran yaitu perbedaan harga ditingkat konsumen (Pr) dengan harga yang diterima produsen (Pf), M = Pr – Pf, dan analisis farmar’s share untuk mengukur efisiensi pemasaran yaitu tingkat harga jual petani sebagai dasar (Pf) dibandingkan dengan harga beli pedagang pada konsumen akhir (Pr) dikali dengan 100 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukan saluran pemasaran 1 memperoleh sebesar marjin 1.978 % dengan farmar’s share 76.96 %. Saluran 2 marjin 0 %, farmar’s share 77.03 %. Menyelamatkan dan Potensi Penyelamatan Ekonomi Pasca Covid-19: : Adopsi Kebijakan Literasi Digital untuk Sektor UMKM
Get PDFAlmost all countries in the world are facing the Covid-19 pandemic whose spread is so massive. This affects various aspects of human life and has a domino effect in various fields including the economy. Indonesia's economy worsened, recorded in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020 experiencing a contraction of 5.32 percent. The UMKM sector has a strategic role and is predicted to be the motor for economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. This can be seen from the trend of the positive contribution of MSMEs to Indonesia's GDP in the pre-pandemic period which increased by around 60%. However, in this uncertain condition, ideas and innovations are needed in order to get out of the pressures and the worst possible economic crisis. This research will look at the potential for adopting digital literacy skills in the MSME sector as a strategy for post-Covid-19 economic recovery. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with the application of the information literacy method, The Big 6. The application of this method is expected to be a way to build more detailed and in-depth arguments regarding the subject of research. The results showed that the idea of adopting MSME digital literacy skills was needed as an answer to the challenges regarding the possibility of innovative behavior change (behavior) in the post-Covid-19 field of MSME. The transformation of MSMEs in the field of digital literacy in all sectors (production, promotion and marketing) has the potential to support faster post-Covid-19 economic recovery
