THE EFFECT OF MUSIC AND FOCUSED MEDITATION ON THE HUMAN ENERGY FIELD AS MEASURED BY THE GAS DISCHARGE VISUALISATION (GDV) TECHNIQUE AND PROFILE OF MOOD STATES
The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of music and focused meditation on the human energy field as measured by the recently invented Gas Discharge Visualisation Technique (GDV) and the rrofile of Mood States (rOMS). Once a week for three weeks 45 participants had GDV and rOMS measurements taken before and after three experimental conditions: 1) music; 2) music with focused meditation after viewing a printout of the participant's own personal energy field; and 3) no music, no focused meditation. The results indicate that both music and focused meditation had significant palliative effects on GDV physiological and rOMS psychological measures. The rOMS total score, and subscales of tension and depression scores all demonstrated a significantly improved mood state
A GDV COMPARISON OF HUMAN ENERGY FIELDS BEFORE AND AFTER STIMULATION OF SHEALY'S RINGS OF FIRE, EARTH, WATER, AIR, CRYSTAL
The objective of this research was to detect any change in the human energy field of the body as measured by the Gas Discharged Visualization (BEQ-GOV) device after the stimulation of the Shealy Rings of Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Crystal. These Rings are each a set ofacupuncture points which were using the SheLi Tens Stimulator. A control group of sham, non-acupuncture points was also administered. This study used a comparison of the five rings, plus the control group of points, to examine the respective human energy field as displayed by the photon emission of the electrical magnetic field on the BEQ-GOV
DISCOVERY OF CHARGE DENSITY PLASMAS IN WATER AND LIVING SYSTEMS
This paper presents a rigorous examination of Charge Density Plasmas (CDP) and the molecular mechanisms affected by their formation. Charge Density Plasmas have been discovered in both living and non-living systems, including plants, water, people, animals, and soil, although only plants and water are presented in this paper. The properties of COPs are consistent with micro-plasmas that are self-organizing, internally generated, and very sensitive to local and environmental factors. The formation and dissipation of Charge Density Plasmas are related to the formation of molecular clusters and isomer configurations, and can be described using a mathematical model based on an asymptotic time function, as well as perturbation kinetics and reaction rate theory. In experiments with living plants it has been found that COP pulses give evidence for an internal current moving through the plant stem, and each time a CDP pulse forms, an associated magnetic pulse can be simultaneously induced in a nearby probe coil attached to a separate circuit. When a magnet on a pendulum is moved back and forth laterally across the stem, regular periodic oscillations are induced in the microplasma system within the stem. When moved longitudinally or vertically along the stem, these periodic oscillations disappear; again consistent with the plasma model as described by equation (3) in the text. Experiments with distilled water show that CDP pulses propagate in water, and do so differently in the North-South direction than they do in the East-West direction. These pulses appear to travel through one another without interference and thus exhibit the properties of soliton waves. Adding a small amount of ionic salt (KCI at 10 mM) greatly increases the plasma osciJiations and their complexity, which is attributed to cyclotron resonance between the charge density pulses and background ions. CDP diurnal data taken from distilled water 15-20 times per day for several months show distinct differences between the N-S and E-W curves. There is also a common feature in the form of a regular early morning maximum peak amplitude at approximately 7:00 a.m. This COP peak appeared in over 90% of the diurnal data sets and may be the result of the fact that electron density in the atmosphere is more than 100 times greater in the daytime than at night, increasing rapidly at sunrise
An Exploration of the Effects of Toning and Quartz Crystal Bowls on the Energetic Balance in the Body as Measured Electrically Through the Acupuncture Meridians
This study explored the eHects of toning with a Marcel Vogel crystal and the playing of a quartz crystal bowl on the energetic balance in the body, as measured electrically through the acupuncture meridians
THE EFFECTS OF A SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED ALZHEIMER'S WORKBOOK ON THE BURDEN OF CARE, PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES, AND DEPRESSION LEVElS OF HOME CAREGIVERS OF PERSONS WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a chronic, long-term, debilitating, disease that currently affects millions of people worldwide. Most of the people afflicted with this disease are cared for in the home setting by family members and many do not have access to formal community education. Due to the erratic behavioral responses and steady declines in self-care abilities of persons with AD, caregivers face high degrees of physical and psychological stress. With limited options and choices, caregivers fall back on behaviors that do not preserve self-care behaviors in the person with AD, which adds to their stress. The AD workbook, designed by the author for this study, allows caregivers to plot the current abilities and future declines of the person they are caring for in the holistic mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual domains. This methodology provides the caregiver with choices that can be matched to individual needs and utilized as problem-solving modalities
A STUDY OF CONSISTENCY IN HARA ASSESSMENTS USING THE BRENNAN HEALING SCIENCE® MODEL
In the subtle energy model underlying Brennan Healing Science® (BHS®) the hara is perceived as the dimension of "intentionality" in that it holds the human body in material manifestation until the life purpose is fulfilled. The hara also embodies the knowledge and longing of the individual to fulfill his life purpose. Specifically, it is the ID point which holds the knowledge of one's purpose in living; the soul seat which embodies the desire to fulfill one's purpose; the tan tien which is the focused intention to remain alive to fulfill one's purpose. When the hara is healthy, the individual acts naturally and effortlessly to fulfill his life purpose. Defined in this way, the hara becomes the foundation for the human energy field (HEF), or aura. Because of this relationship, healing the hara is considered especially powerful for healing the auric field and, thereby, the physical body
FREE RADICAL REDUCTION THROUGH THE USE OF ELECTRO STIMULATION OF ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES ON THE SHEALY RING OF CRYSTAL
The purpose of this study was to correlate statistically the electro-stimulation of key acupuncture points with a reduction in free radicals and an improved emotional state. h built upon previous work conducted by C. Normal Shealy, but differed in several key areas. This experiment employed a different electro-stimulation than was used in Shealy's experiments, and only a subset of the original points was stimulated with the electro-stimulation. Pre-and post-intervention free radical values were obtained by using an OxiData urinalysis test to measure the presence of malondialdehyde, a precursor to the free radical lipid peroxidase. OxiData was administered to all subjects before and after the experiment. The subjects' stress levels were also measured using two tools. The first was a mechanical measurement of the conductivity of key acupuncture points using an MSA-21, a recognized tool for acupuncture practices. The second was a battery of self-assessment tests whose results were then interpreted by the principal investigator. More than eighty subjects were used in this test. Respondents covered a wide diversity in ages and backgrounds, although seventy-two percent of them were female. The intervention group received three acupuncture treatments (one per day over three consecutive days) along specific acupuncture points known as the Shealy Ring of Ctystal. These were a combination of needling and electro-stimulation. Both the intervention group and control group received lectures and teaching materials about free radicals and acupuncture. Both were also tested at the same time for the presence of free radicals and a measurement of stress levels. Pre-treatment values were compared with post-treatment values. Statistical data were mixed. OxiData results indicated a trend (p = 0.11), but did not show a close statistical significance. The MSA-21 BioMeridian stress test was used to assess the variance ofenergetic values linked to emotional values. Three out of more than 20 test combinations indicated a statistical significance, correlating reductions ofstress to the intervention treatment. However, these reductions were not detected in the self-assessment evaluations
AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF THE TRANSMISSION OF HEALING ENERGY VIA THE INTERNET
This research studies the intentional intuitive imprinting of healing energies onto a CD-ROM and transmission of these energies via Internet email toa trained intuitive recipient. This study operationally defines "intentional imprinting" as the act of using conscious thought to condition a healing energy onto an object. This study sought to test Internet email as a holder of intentional sensorial resonance, and the World Wide Web within the Internet, as a carrier of this energy-information; and to explore an implied evolution of the sense of intuition. This study conditionally proposes that an intuitive person can open an email and receive the emotional and cognitive content of its sender's intentionally imprinted information. This study seeks new information signifIcant to distance healing research within the medical, parapsychology, and noetic sciences; and to inspire and identify fertile areas for further cross-disciplinary exploration. The main outcome measures are simple binomial success rates, reported as percentages. In this research study, success is defIned as both the correct detection and correct identification of the intentional imprinted healing energy by the intuitive recipients. Main results: Relative to a 25% chance of success, the Total Success Rate is 31. 9%, which supports the research hypothesis (p 0.021)
