    AN ORIGINAL PARANORMAL THERAPY

    Get PDF
The authors of this paper examined relevant literature in relation to psi healing and were particularly attracted by "bioenergy therapy. Stimulated by their previous study of telepathy, they performed some experiments (including preliminary trials and conttols), in order to see if the discovered "telepathic wave" (a radio wave of wavelength 46.20 meters) also has any therapeuric efficacy. The findings were positive, i.e. the majority (48 out of 61) of beneficial telepathic messages transmitted from the agent (healer) via the original radio-amplifier-named Patulea's prototype-tuned at the wave length of 46.20 meters to the percipient (patient) was able to cure or at least to improve some diseases. The paper describes some of the more suggestive cases. The account is also illustrated by a schematic diagram of the device, and a synoptic table of the results. The authors speculate that the bioenergy of different bioenergy therapists could have a heterogeneous frequency spectrum and only a common part of this, a kind of "prosthetic group" possesses therapeutic properties. On the other hand, this subtle, but very active component of bioenergy could be just the "telepathic wave" of 46.20 meters. The findings reveal also that the radio wave of 46.20 meters is not just a simple telepathic one, but a component with possible multiple functions, a supposition sustained by previous works of these authors; it has effects such as precognition and, in complementary therapeutic procedures in the medical field

CULTURED HUMAN BRAIN TUMOR CELLS DO NOT RESPOND TO JOHREI TREATMENT

    Get PDF
Patients faced with grim diagnoses, such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), an incurable brain tumor for which standard therapy is debilitating, are increasingly using alternative healing practices that purportedly involve the manipulation of some form of healing energy. To evaluate the possibility that such practices can affect biological targets, adherents of one alternative healing practice, Johrei, were invited to treat GBM cells in culture. Such in vitro models effectively eliminate the factor of psychological cueing. We conducted 40 experiments involving Johrei treatment and 28 control experiments in which a person with no training as a healer substituted for the practitioners. Each experiment incorporated strict randomization and blinding techniques. Johrei treatments were delivered from an average distance of 30 cm. We used timelapse microscopy to investigate the rates of cell death and proliferation before, during, and after treatment. We found no significant differences between Johrei and control experiments for either tumor cell death or proliferation

UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS: A QUANTUM BIOMECHANICAL FOUNDATION

    Get PDF
Citing research in consciousness, quantum physics, biophysics and cosmology, we propose the collective amplification of quantum effects as the basis for scientifically describing Kundalini awakening, and the higher-order, emergent phenomenon of Unity consciousness, Such alterations of consciousness have their origin in quantum-scale processes, such as self-induced transparency, superradiance, superpositions, quantum tunneling, and Bose-Einstein condensation, Microtubules are considered to be key components in non-local, quantum processes critical to human consciousness, We postulate that bundles of fibers (neural cells), each containing numerous microtubule "lasers" acting in unison, collectively result in a massive surge of light energy to the brain, The sudden onset and radically altered nature of such states are consistent with a model based on the activation of a laser. The liquid crystalline nature of the human body likely provides a foundation for the non-local aspect ofVniry consciousness, The unifYing paradigm of the "quantum hologram" is introduced ro apply quantum properties to macroscopic events

HOMEOPATHIC POTENCIES IDENTIFIED BY A NEW MAGNETIC RESONANCE METHOD: Homeopathy-An Energetic Medicine

    No full text
The topic of this article is the detection of magnetic photons in homeopathic potencies. Their electromagnetic properties are proved by a newly developed magnetic resonance method using two different T esla coils which generate longitudinal waves at distinct resonance frequencies in the HF range at low micro Voltages. When laid into the maximum of the magnetic field, homeopathic high potencies with frequencies being in resonance with those of the coils attenuated the magnetic Held. Therefore, it can be concluded that homeopathic potencies consist of magnetic photons. For the Hrst time, the degree of each potency could be measured and characterized by its speciHc !-tV input level which separated the photons from their carrier molecule of sugar at their resonance frequency. Homeopathic potencies are magnetic photons with several frequencies in the HF range and with different energies. Until recently, only photons with monochromatic light have been known. For the first time, the resonance method developed in this paper was extended for determining the frequency spectra of homeopathic potencies by exciting them by means of a different peak frequency of their individual spectrum within the HF range. From this it follows that each homeopathic potency must have its speciHc frequency spectrum and its speciHc energy, which is the "homeopathic information." According to these results, homeopathy has been put on a fundamental, scientiHc, physical basis. The functioning of homeopathy can now be explained. Healing by homeopathy obeys the principle of similariry according to Hahnemann: 1 the patient has to be treated with that substance which induces the same symptoms that are characteristic for his disease. If a healthy person is treated with the same substance he or she will develop the same symptoms. It is said, an "information" is then transferred to the patient, because there is not any molecule left in high potencies. Based on the results of this paper, it can be stated that healing by homeopathy means exciting or attenuating the level of the energy terms of the pathological pathways by the magnetic photons according to the resonance principle. Therefore, the homeopathic principle of similariry can be reduced to similar resonance frequencies of the remedy and the pathological pathway. Homeopathy is an energetic medicine

HEALING RESEARCH: WHAT WE KNOW AND DON'T KNOW

Since the first major clinical trial of prayer at San Francisco General Hospital was published in 1988, numerous follow-up studies have emerged in both humans and nonhumans. Assessments and reviews of this field have varied wildly. Dr. Dossey will offer his view of where this field stands, and will offer guidelines on how best to do healing experiments. Dr. Dossey will survey the history of healing research, describe its accomplishments and shortcomings, and discuss the challenges in this field for the future

    SYMPATHETIC REACTIVITY DURING MEDITATION

    Get PDF
Decreased sympathetic reactivity is one of the generally accepted standards in Western medicine to examine meditation’s benefit to health. This study investigated the research question: why did seven advanced meditators from an esoteric school who use an active meditation style with accelerated breathing reflect more variable sympathetic activation during meditation and recovery relative to baseline measures. A single-case study embedded design was used to analyze eleven psychological/psychophysiological measures. Analyses revealed meditators were characterized by thin boundaries, high absorption, high dissociation, and minimal self-perceived stress. They displayed significantly increased: electrodermal reactivity during meditation and recovery, heart rate during meditation, and bilateral hand temperatures during recovery. These outcomes are consistent with research demonstrating positive correlation between high hypnotizability and electrodermal reactivity, sympathetic increase with accelerated breathing meditations, and are inconsistent with decreased sympathetic activation in most passive meditation studies. Findings support other research that active meditation styles with accelerated breathing prompt sympathetic activation and minimize self-perceived stress. Discussion explores the implications for health and well-being in terms of autonomic reactivity and whether sympathetic reactivity during meditation and recovery are indicative of mind-body incongruence or an outcome of meditation style

A PRELIMINARY STUDY OF THE REICH ORGONE ACCUMULATOR EFFECTS ON HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY

    Get PDF
The orgone accumulator (ORAC) is a device, conceived by the Austrian scientist Wilhelm Reich in the 1940s, which he claimed would concentrate a vital energy from the atmosphere. Reich ascertained the ORAC to be useful in medical therapies of several diseases, even though the energy concentrated inside the accumulator could not be classified under any of the traditional known energies of the time. In order to better understand ORAC’s effects on healthy people, 20 persons were considered for this study. They were treated inside the device for 45 minutes. Body temperature and skin resistance on Electro Permeable Points (EPP) were measured, before and after ORAC exposure, by a mercury thermometer, and by a Bio-Feedback (BFB) instrument (according to the Ryodoraku technique), respectively. Our results showed a significant statistical difference of the pre- and post-ORAC exposure body temperature of 0.242 °C (p=0,006), evaluated by the Student T-test at a significance level of 0.05. Ryodoraku measurement variations were more complex to evaluate. Nevertheless these latter results suggest the ORAC might have some effects on human health due to a parasympathetic nervous system activation which cannot be considered only a result of a placebo effect
