HEMI-SYNC® AND RADIATION ONCOLOGY: A PILOT STUDY

    Get PDF
This pilot study is reprinted from the Monroe Institute Hemi-Sync Journal, Vol. XXVI, Nos. 3 & 4, Summer/Fall 2008 Hemi-Sync, a binaural-beat brain-wave entrainment technology and consciousness-modulating tool developed by Robert Monroe and his associates, can be combined with guided meditation to produce a useful tool for behavioral medicine: the field of treating medical problems with behavioral modalities. The authors applied the technology to the problem of side effects of radiation treatment in cancer patients. Patients filled out the Brief Fatigue Inventory (BFI) daily in the course of listening to MIND FOOD Energy Walk. At the end of the study, participants also completed a patient satisfaction questionnaire, which included questions about pain. Only two of the sixteen patients who returned the BFI questionnaire found the tape ineffective for pain and fatigue. The data strongly support the binaural-beat exercise's effectiveness for relieving fatigue associated with radiation treatments. Though this was an open rather than a placebo-controlled study, the effect size is far beyond what one would expect from a placebo effect. This pilot study gives strong encouragement for using the Hemi-Sync technology as an adjunct to radiation oncology. Further investigation with a larger patient population is recommended

A NEW BIOCHEMICAL MODEL OF HOMEOPATHIC EFFICACY IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC DISEASES

    Get PDF
According to a contemporary model of homeopathic function, photons detected from remedies with anassociated magnetic vector potential and demonstrable frequencies in the MHz-region probably excitesubstrate-enzyme-complexes along pathological pathways in patients. Substrates in high potencies regulatethese pathways as well as their reversible and irreversible inhibitors in XMK or LMK potencies, in chronicdiseases. Hashimoto disease could be cured by using the highly-potentized inhibitors of calcium metabolismsuch as Platinum metallicum, Silicea and Alumina by affecting a reaction chain involved in regulatingthe immune system. Furthermore, when the substrates of the thyroid enzyme metabolism are given inhigh potencies, such as Kalium iodatum, Iodium, TSH, Thyroxine, Triiodo-thyroninum in XMK potencyadministered twice a week, thyroid antibodies vanished after three to four months. When the symptomof a dry cough is present, it indicates two different biochemical pathways: firstly, the respiration chainenzymes, and secondly, the nerve-muscle-system leading to paralysis may be involved. A case of coughassociated with a lack of iron in the respiratory chain was initially healed by the inhibitors Kalium cyanicumLMK and Hydrocyanicum acidum LMK, followed by the substrates of the respiratory chain: Ferrummetallicum LMK, Cuprum metallicum LMK and Coenzyme Q LMK. A case of paralysis of the chestmuscles in asthmatic cough was cured by the irreversible inhibitor of acetylcholine receptor Naja tripudiansLMK, the reversible inhibitors Belladonna LMK or Atropinum XMK and by the substrate AcetylcholineXMK. Paralyses concerning the destruction of the membranes were healed by Tetanotoxinum LMK asan irreversible inhibitor, Lecithinum LMK as an associated substrate as well as other unsaturated fatty acidssuch as EPA LMK. Potent remedies of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase were Dendroaspis LMK as anirreversible inhibitor, Alumina LMK as a reversible inhibitor and Acetylcholin XMK as a substrate. These results lead to the conclusion that remedies associated with irreversible inhibitors act to counteractthe syphilitic miasm, reversible inhibitors the sycotic miasm, and substrates the psora miasm. This explainsthe symptom pictures of Psora, Sycosis and Syphilis in biochemical terms. If the pathological pathwaysare known, the most appropriate remedies might be found to act as substrates, reversible and irreversibleinhibitors of the known biochemical pathways

CHILDREN’S PAST LIFE MEMORIES AND HEALING

    Get PDF
Young children all over the world have spontaneous memories of previous lives, regardless of the religious beliefs of the parents. It’s a natural phenomenon. Children usually begin speaking of “when they were big before” or “when they died” around the age of three, and may speak of their memories for a period of a few years. Many of the memories children recall are of traumatic deaths, which may continue to affect a child in their present life as phobias and other emotional problems. By combining what I’ve learned from collecting my own cases of children’s past life memories for more than twenty years, and from the large body of research of spontaneous past life memories from Dr. Ian Stevenson, with the healing model of past life therapy with adults, I derive a method of healing traumatic past life memories as they emerge spontaneously in early childhood. By studying the cases of children who speak with conviction of their other lives, we also observe that many aspects of the child’s present personality have carried forward intact from the past life: behaviors, emotions, phobias, talents, knowledge, the quality of relationships, and even physical symptoms. The fact that these personality traits carry forward suggests a new way of looking at personality formation and a theory of personality that spans lifetimes. The children’s cases also add an important piece to the metaphysical discussion of the survival of consciousness after death, because it is clear from the cases that some form of personal consciousness continues from one life to another

THE COLOR PREFERENCES OF TREATMENT RESISTANT DEPRESSED PATIENTS: A PILOT STUDY

    Get PDF
A pilot study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of color light therapy as a treatment modality for individuals with treatment resistant depression. A secondary objective of the study was to determine the color preferences of the individuals and to assess whether the color preferences changed as a function of treatment. Pre and post measures of depression using the PHQ-9 found a significant decrease in depression after color light therapy (t (9) = 5.13, p < .01). Pre- and post-treatment measures of color preferences found significant changes in the preferences, with an increase of green (t (9) = -2.53, p < .05) and a decrease in blue (t (9) = 2.58, p < .05)

A SPIRIT-DRIVEN TILLERIAN HYPOTHESIS FOR THE BIOCONSTRUCTIVE PROCESS A TRANSDUCTIVE CHAIN SYNTHESIS

    Get PDF
The main point of this paper is to frame a process that will create a physiology to support the emerging view of human capabilities with phenomena and biostructures that have been and continue to be discovered by both MEST and MESTIC sciences. Underlying this is a reasoned belief that our physiology is ‘soaked through’ by the quantum plenum, even into the tiniest of its component particles, and that particles and plenum are in continuous intercommunication. Information is passed by means we can barely perceive that shapes our particulate selves into sentient transducers that are affected by and affect our environment, including our human and spiritual environments. In other words, the paper attempts to sketch a process that will create and do what humans can do, because that is the ‘ground truth’ against which we must judge our explanatory and exploratory efforts. The paper develops, through operational analysis, a Tillerian hypothesis for the basic mechanism of bioconstruction by focusing on the action elements of cybernetically guided human bioconstruction, the process that transforms the fertilized egg into a living baby. It is characterized by in-formation, literally ‘formation within’, involving biochemical, biophysical, and bioinformative activity, and extremely rapid biotemporal access to the immediate future and immediate past. Beyond these fairly easily recognized processes lies biovolitional activity that created the multiverse that we experience. For purposes of this paper it is considered to be the ‘ultimate potential’. Its human manifestation is the ‘Nous’ – the ability to discern order in chaos, and its traditional name is Spirit. At extremely small scale the interrelated phases of bioconstruction and biomaintenance work to provide and maintain our individual human interface with the quantum plenum, enabling Spirit to cybernetically in-form life and consciousness. The paper 1) develops Tiller’s concept of physics as coupled segments of differing informational connectivity contingently joined by focused consciousness, 2) creates a Tillerian model for cybernetic bioconstruction, 3) develops a Burr-Coulomb and Hall-Lorentz model for the basic bioconstructive mechanism based on recent observations of micro-biostructures that should enable ‘unconventional’ informative biocommunications, and that support the conceptual convergence of the living matrix and the acupuncture systems, and 4) adopts the temporal displacement and spin generation phenomena of torsion science as seems required for biomolecule morphogenesis and tissue knitting. It concludes with a novel interpretation of the origin and action of biophotons and observations on the Tillerian informational coupling of three distinct types of CRORACELLs
