Development of a Model of Asthma Management in Children Based on Beliefs by Parents in The Concept of The Health Belief Model
Introduction: Asthma in children causes loss of school days, and also causes growth in children. Parents have a responsibility to manage asthma, they need asthma management education for children who can increase their wisdom in managing it. The research objective was to develop a model of asthma management education in children based on beliefs in the concept of the Health Belief Model. Method: quasi-experimental research with 66 respondents, probability sampling method through simple random sampling. Using 3 HBM model development questionnaires belief, threat and behavior. Statistical analysis : using a paired t-test, Mann Whitney test, linear regression adjusted for each variable studied in developing HBM. Results and Analysis : education on trust (p <0.001), confidence in threats (p = 0.001), threats towards behavior (p <0.001), educational influence on behavior (p <0.001). Discussion and Conclusion: Parents' beliefs about their ability to discuss existing problems are very important to overcome recurrence. Increased confidence in skills, increased satisfaction and self-confidence, with an effective increase in good conditions by children with asthma
Relationship of Knowledge and Attitudes of Fertile Ages Against Family Planning at Garuda Pekanbaru Public Health Center
Family planning program is one of effort to reach the prosperity by way giving marriage advise and estranged pregnancy, pregnancy observation, which done by giving drug, installation of appliance and operate action to prevent pregnancy. This Research target is to know the knowledge and attitude illustration of fertile age couple toward family planning program in Public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru. This Research Type is descriptive research, the amount the population in this research is Fertile Age Couple in the public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru is 14.210 people, and the sample in this research is amounting to 99 people, with the intake sampel technique used by accidental sampling. The research done from the date of 10 July until 8 August 2009 in Public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru. Data collecting in this research through spreading questionnaire, data processing with the univarian analysis. Chi-Square analysis results obtained p = 0,000 meaning p <0.05 it can be concluded that the existence of Knowledge Relations and Attitudes of EFA to Family Planning in Garuda Pekanbaru Health Center. The Relationship Between Exclusive Breast Feeding With Fine Motoric Development In Infants 6-12 Months Of Age In The Village Kebonsari Rw 02 Temple Sidoarjo
Baby village temple Kebonsari sidoarjo many are not exclusively breastfed because most mothers so busy working impaired fine motoric development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with fine motoric development in infants aged 6-12 months Kebonsari Candi Sidoarjo village. This study design was observational analytic. The study population was 35 pairs of mothers and infants village temple Kebonsari Sidoarjo and sample 32 pairs of respondents, taken by simple random sampling. The independent variables were exclusively breastfed and fine motoric development of babies as the dependent variable. Instrument data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets DDST then Spearman rank test with significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that a large part (71.9%) of mothers breastfeeding, and the bulk (62.5%) infants have normal fine motoric development. Spearman rank test results obtained value of Ï = 0.023 <α = 0.05, H0 denied, there is a relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with fine motoric development in infants aged 6-12 months Kebonsari Candi Sidoarjo village. The conclusions of this research are mothers who exclusively breastfed their babies and fine motoric development is normal. Nurses are highly recommended providing information about how and benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for the stimulation of the development of fine motoric skill
Analysis Of Self-Concept And Self-Independence In The Behavior Of Disabled Group Who Perform Plastic Waste Recycle Business
The loss of one or more parts of a physical body that cannot functionproperly can affect a person's psyche and psychology, allowing anegative self-concept to arise. The purpose of this study was todetermine the Influence of Self-Concept and Self-Independence on theBehavior of Disabled Groups Who Conduct Plastic Waste RecyclingBusinesses.The research design is cross-sectional study, respondents were takenusing the Simple Random Sampling technique. The population of allpeople with disabilities is 74 people, the sample is 61 respondents.Independent variables are self-concept and self-independence in peoplewith disabilities, dependent variables are recycling behavior of plasticwaste, the results are analyzed using the Ordinal Regression test.The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents had agood self-concept, namely 33 respondents (54.1%), the majority ofrespondents were independent in carrying out activities, namely 42respondents (68.9%), almost half of the respondents had good behaviorin carrying out activities.recyclerubbishwhich is 29 respondents(47.5%). The results of the statistical test show a p value = 0.020 forself-concept so that H1 is accepted which means that there is aninfluence of self-concept on the behavior of groups of people withdisabilities who carry out plastic waste recycling efforts and a p value =0.030 for self-independence so that H1 is accepted which means thatthere is an influence of self-independence on the behavior of groups ofpeople with disabilities who carry out plastic waste recycling efforts.Self-concept and self-independence influence the behavior of groups ofpeople with disabilities who carry out plastic waste recycling efforts,where the higher the self-concept and the more independent peoplewith disabilities are in carrying out activities, the better the behavior ofcarrying out plastic waste recycling efforts
Analysis of Maternity Satisfaction Level to Antenatal Care Quality in Primary Health Care Markanding Muaro Jambi 2016
Quality health services is one of the basic needs of each individual community acquired, health care quality will be felt by the patient if delivery is felt exceed patient expectations. This study aims to assess the level of satisfaction with quality of services pregnant women antenatal care in Primary Health Care Markanding Muaro Jambi. This research is descriptive quantitative method SERVQUAL (Services Quality). The study population was all pregnant women who are still active during their pregnancy were more than twice in Health Center Markanding Muaro Jambi with samples from pregnant women who come to the health center during the study (1 month) is taken by total sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Data were analyzed with Cartesian Diagram. Based on the research that has been done shows that the satisfaction of patients (pregnant women) to antenatal care services in Health Center Markanding, given the level of conformity between expectation and reality on the dimensions of reliability of 65,6%, the dimension of confidence (assurance) of 69,8%, dimensions of concern (empathy) amounted to 62,1% and the dimensions of direct evidence (tangible) amounted to 69,1%. Relationship Family Health Behavior with The Frequency of Occurrence of Children Upper respiratory tract infections In Puskesmas Banyu Urip Surabaya
Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI) is the most common deadly disease of children in Indonesia. The disease is still underestimated by some families and still consider as harmless disease, so that it may suffered by the children repeatedly. Most parents do not understand that this disease can cause more dangerous diseases if not immediately handled, especially when the immune system is in bad condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family health behavior with the incidence of URI of toddlers. The type of this research was analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The population was 53 mothers with sick and healthy toddlers who visited the Puskesmas Banyu Urip Surabaya. The sample was 47 respondents which taken by simple random sampling. Independent vURTIable was family health behavior while dependent vURTIable was incident of URTI. Instruments were questionnaire and interview sheet. The data analyzed by Mann-Whitney test with significance level α = 0,05. The result showed that most of the respondents (61,7%) had positive behavior and most of them (59,6%) rarely suffered URTI, whereas almost half (40,4%) of respondents had children often suffered URI. Mann-Whitney test analysis results show that Ï = 0.008 <0.05 then H0 was rejected means there was relationship of family health behavior with the incidence of URTI at infants at Puskesmas Banyu Urip Surabay
The Efforts to Increase Breast Milk Production Through Hypnobreastfeeding In Pakisaji Sub District Malang Regency
Breast milk is the first, main, and best food for babies, which is scientific. Breast milk contains various nutrients needed in the process of growth and development of babies. Breast milk production can also be increased by hypnobreasfeeding relaxation. Hypnobreasfeeding helps mothers to relax their bodies, and a great way to encourage mindsets in their babies. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of hypnobreasfeeding on increasing ASI production at pakisaji sub-district Malang district. The population is 25 respondents and the sampling technique used is total sampling with One group pre-post test design. Analysis of the data with the T-test using SPSS for Windows obtained Sig = 0,000, so 0,000 <0,05, which means H1 was accepted. Before hypnobreasfeeding, the average volume of ASI that came out was 163.2 ml, after being treated evenly. the average breast milk volume increased to 462.3 ml and there was an increase in the volume of breast milk by 300 ml. So that there is the influence of hypnobreasfeeding on increasing ASI production at BPM Sri Wahyuning Amd Keb Pakisaji Malang Regency. Logistic Regression Analysis of Escherichia Coli Contaminants on the Tofu Water in Lowokwaru Market Malang City
The purpose of this research know to the influence of Escherichia coli contaminants on the tofu water in lowokwaru market Malang city. The research method used analytical survey with cross sectional approach with simple random sampling and obtained 20 samples of traders.The result of the research showed that the food hygiene and sanitation the >90,2% sample of 10 (50%), the appearence and tofu the > 80% sample of 9 (45%), Up impurities Escherichia coli that sample of 0 per 100 ml sample as much 8 (40%). Based on the results ogistic regression presentation and processing Tofu to Escherichia coli with significance value = 0.099 > (α= 0.05) then H0 is accept. No effect the presentation of and Tofu processing against Escherichia coli who sold street vendors. And the result of statistical test hygiene and food sanitation against escherichia coli by using logistic regression with significans value = 0.032 < (α= 0.05) then H0 is reject so there an effect the Hygiene snd food sanitation escherichia coli sold street vendors and value of square as 0.434 means and the presentation of food hygiene and sanitation and processing Tofu affect escherichia coli as 43,4% Therefore, it is necessary to review the place of hygiene sanitation and presentation of tofu processing sold street vendors in the market lowokwaru. All walks of life are entitled to receive health insurance from the government through programs from the BPJS Health. Regional General Hospital X Kota Kediri is a hospital belonging to the Government of Kediri. Therefore, the Hospital of X Kota Kediri must open themselves to receive and serve all patients both BPJS patients and general patients with the best. In this research, the object of research is Hospital X of Kediri City. And carried out in March 2017 to May 2015. The Relationship of Knowledge and Maternal Mother's Attitude in Selecting Birth Supporters at UPTD Health Benai
Labor is a natural process that will take place by itself, but delivery to humans at any time is threatened by complications that can harm the mother and her fetus, requiring proper supervision, rescue and services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitude of maternal mother in choosing birth attendant at UPTD Health Benai Year 2014. The design in this research is analytical descriptive with cross sectional study design. Sampling technique in this research using quota sampling technique that is as much as 60 maternal mother. Data analysis used was univariate (central tendency) and bivariate (chi square test). The result showed that there was significant correlation between knowledge (p-value=0,001) and attitudes (p-value = 0,000) of respondents with the selection of maternity maternity assistant in UPTD Health Benai Kuantan Singingi Regency.
