Social Entrepreneurship in Islamic Perspective Role of Islamic Values, Environmental Values and Social Enterprise Attitudes
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Islamic values, environmental values, and social entrepreneurial attitudes on the social entrepreneurial intentions of Indonesian students. The research population consists of all UPI students from various faculties. Meanwhile, for the sample size of the research, 160 UPI students who have taken entrepreneurship courses were selected. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire distributed via a Google Form link. The research results show that Islamic values and environmental values have a positive and significant impact on social entrepreneurship intentions. Islamic values have a positive and significant impact on social entrepreneurship, and environmental values also have a positive and significant impact. Similarly, social entrepreneurship attitudes have a positive and significant impact on social entrepreneurship intentions. Social entrepreneurship attitudes mediate the influence of Islamic values on social entrepreneurship intentions and mediate the influence of environmental values on social entrepreneurship intentions. Thus, social entrepreneurship attitudes partially mediate both variables, namely Islamic values and environmental values. Based on these findings, it is necessary to revitalize the entrepreneurship education curriculum by incorporating aspects of social entrepreneurial attitudes into entrepreneurship courses at universities. Maintaining guidance for students on environmental values and enhancing social entrepreneurship attitudes through socially-based business activities
Science in the Whirlwind of Religion and Power
This paper examines the interactions among science, religion, and power across historical and social contexts. Science is defined as a systematic effort to build knowledge through testable explanations and predictions, while religion is a system that connects humans with supernatural and transcendental elements. Power, in this context, is understood as a social production that shapes actors' capacities, actions, and beliefs. The paper outlines a crisis of thinking and literacy among scientists, religious scholars, and politicians, who often fail to understand or disregard the relevance of other fields. Various types of relationships between power and both science and religion are described, including power that protects, suppresses, restricts, utilizes, or mediates between the two domains. Additionally, the paper discusses how religion and science can influence or even conflict with each other. Historical examples of the complex interactions between science, religion, and power are provided, showing that harmony among them can lead to progress, while imbalance can result in regression. In conclusion, Muslims need to understand and appropriately position science, religion, and power to avoid secular extremism and ensure balanced development in society
Antibacterial-enhanced Synthetic Stainless Steel, Hydroxyapatite, and Polylactic Acid in Bioactive Screw Systems for Safe Bone Healing
Bone fractures are rising worldwide due to aging populations and increased trauma, creating demand for implants that overcome infection, delayed healing, and poor osteointegration. Multifunctional biomaterials, especially PLA–HA Bioxcrew systems, offer integrated mechanical support with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and osteogenic functions while remaining biocompatible. Implant-associated infections driven by Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative bacteria persist because of biofilm formation and chronic inflammation. Bioxcrew advancements address these barriers through metal-ion doping, nanoscale surface engineering, and incorporation of antimicrobial agents into biodegradable polymer matrices, enabling controlled ion release, immune modulation, stem-cell recruitment, and improved bone regeneration. Stainless steel provides strength, hydroxyapatite enhances biological integration, and PLA enables safe degradation and localized drug delivery, making their hybridization ideal for next-generation implants. Using a narrative–integrative review of peer-reviewed literature from 2018 to 2025, this study synthesizes trends in antibacterial strategies and regenerative performance. Findings show that hybrid Bioxcrew platforms significantly reduce infection risk and enhance functional bone healing
Prayer Guidance in Improving Spiritual Intelligence in Children with Physical Impairment
Prayer is one of the main pillars of Islam and even serves as an identity for Muslims and their civilization. Prayer and the mosque as a place of prayer are the two leading institutions in Islam. The command to pray is obligatory for every Muslim who has reached the age of puberty, both in normal conditions and with special needs, such as even a child with a person with quadriplegia. The Special School (SLB) is one of the schools that carries out prayer guidance for children with special needs. The spiritual condition of disabled children in SLB has decreased, one of which is due to their neglect in praying. So, with this prayer, guidance is needed to improve the spiritual intelligence of children with physical impairments. The fact is that the habit of praying regularly at school and at home can raise children's awareness and motivate them to practice worship. This study aims to determine the concept of prayer guidance, prayer guidance techniques, and the results of prayer guidance in increasing spiritual intelligence in children with physical disabilities at Cileunyi State SLB, Bandung Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that the concept of prayer guidance carried out there includes preparation before prayer, namely ablution, covering the genitals, determining the place and direction of prayer, and performing the prayer standing and sitting. The prayer guidance technique applied is through repetition and habituation, both individually and in groups. The results of prayer guidance show cognitive, affective, and psychomotor changes, namely: the ability to name and distinguish the time and number of prayer cycles, the ability to practice reading and prayer movements, and a change in attitude
The Phenomenon of Julid Fi Sabilillah on Instagram as a Form of Rejection of Israel's Genocide against Palestine: A Critical Discourse Analysis
Julid Fi Sabilillah emerged as a response to the massive genocide by Israel that began on October 7, 2023. This research aims to unveil the phenomenon of Julid Fi Sabilillah on Instagram using a critical discourse analysis approach and to explain its role and influence regarding the genocide committed by Israel against Palestine. The methodology employed in this study is qualitative, utilizing Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis model. The findings indicate that the phenomenon of Julid Fi Sabilillah on Instagram represents an effort by pro-Palestinian Indonesian citizens to resist Israel, triggered by the genocide that started on October 7, 2023. This is manifested through comments and posts laden with protests against Israel and calls for public participation. Julid Fi Sabilillah plays a role in undermining the morale of IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers and countering their propaganda on social media, causing stress and disruption that leads them to lock and limit their Instagram accounts.

Exploring Halal Science Literacy in Society: Are People Ready to Choose Halal Products Smartly?
Consuming halal products is increasingly important for Muslims. However, there are still many people who do not fully understand the concept of halal, so they have the potential to choose products that are not in accordance with Islamic law. This shows the need to increase halal science literacy in society. This research aims to analyze the community's halal science literacy level and identify factors that influence the community's halal science literacy. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the research show that out of 30 respondents representing each of the Garut, Bandung and Tasikmalaya regions, it shows that the community's halal science literacy level is still relatively low, as indicated by the descriptive results, the average attitude aspect is still worth 21.20. Then the researchers also reviewed the relationship between four indicators of halal scientific literacy, namely aspects of knowledge, context, process and attitude, in the correlation statistical results showing a significance value of <0.05. Factors that influence people's halal scientific literacy include: level of education, religious knowledge and access to information obtained. Based on the research results, several strategies that can be implemented to increase public halal science literacy are increasing education and outreach about halal science to the public as well as access to information about halal science to the public. These programs need to touch on the four aspects studied, namely knowledge, context, process and attitude, in order to achieve optimal effectiveness. Increasing halal science literacy is very important to help people choose halal products intelligently and in accordance with Islamic la
Eduecolinguistic Learning Design in Indonesian Formal Educational Institutions: An Islamic Perspective
Environmental problems in the world in general and in Indonesia in particular currently require serious solutions to create a conducive environment for future generations. This research describes education about environmental issues and the importance of ecological awareness in the younger generation. Awareness of the need to actively participate in building public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, the percentage of positive responses is very good 97.77%. The students also understand that there are environmental problems in West Java, the most important of which is the problem of waste and water pollution and provide plans for various social actions to provide solutions to these problems, such as socialising the importance of (3R) reduce, reuse, and recycle; Other activities, such as: Donating used items that are still good, planting plants, and limiting the use of water and electricity
The Underpinning Mechanism between Patience and Academic Procrastination: The Mediating Role of Self-Regulated Learning among Undergraduate Students
Procrastination is a prevalent phenomenon in academic contexts. During online learning, the problem of postponing may become more prone to occur. Previous studies have shown that self-regulated learning has a robust effect on procrastination. However, researchers rarely consider the link between patience, self-regulated learning, and procrastination. This study investigated the role of patience and self-regulated learning on academic procrastination. We propose a mediation model that self-regulation would mediate the relationship between patience and procrastination. A total of 290 undergraduate students from a private university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, enrolled in this study. There were 103 males and 187 females aged 17-24 (M=19.5 years). We collected the data by administering patience, self-regulated learning, and academic procrastination questionnaires. The result showed that patience, self-regulated learning, and procrastination were correlated significantly. Bivariate correlation showed patience positively and significantly associated with all self-regulated learning subscales: goal-setting, environmental structuring, time-management, help-seeking, self-evaluation, and task strategies. Furthermore, mediation analysis gives evidence that patience indirectly affects procrastination via student self-regulated learning. Only goal setting and time management could mediate the relationship between patience and academic procrastination at the specific indirect level. These findings highlight the role of patience in strengthening self-regulation and explain the underpinning mechanism between patience and procrastination
Dominant Power and Its Bandwagoning Effect on Justice in the Middle East
This research contributes to complementing the study of realism in international relations through bandwagoning by analyzing interdependence in the alliance of Muslim countries in the Middle East. The United States, as a dominant power, always takes part in the political map in the Middle East, which is considered strategic, by offering political, military, and economic assistance. The response of countries in the Middle East varies, depending on their national agendas and diplomatic relations. In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, several Muslim countries in the Middle East lost the value of impartial justice and depended on the interests of allies with the United States. The principle of independent justice has become blurred, leading to bias in the actions of Muslim countries that tend to support the United States. This research uses the concept of bandwagoning popularized by Kenneth Waltz in Theory of International Politics. This alliance contributes to the value of justice to follow the dominant power rather than uphold justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach based on secondary data collection. The analysis in this research compares several specific phenomena in the Middle East region, focusing on Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and Bahrain. This study uses national interest mapping to show that the interdependence of Muslim countries choosing to ally with the United States influences political actions and decisions without regard to the principle of impartial justice
