Aa Analisys of English Textbook “Bahasa Inggris: When English Rings a Bell”
Get PDFOne of the fundamental roles of textbooks is to organize content systematically so that students may acquire it quickly and correctly. By using textbooks, teachers may ensure that all of their pupils are exposed to the same material so that they can be assessed similarly. The study\u27s methodology combined a content analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data was gathered by making an observation and keeping a record. This study\u27s main goals are to assess textbook quality in line with the standards for good English textbooks and to make it simpler for instructors to evaluate the textbooks they are already using as consumers of textbooks. The Developing English Competencies textbook has a total score of 103, which indicates that it is very good but not highly recommended based on the seven rating criteria (below 110). The chosen textbook is appropriate for the teaching program based on the study of goals and approaches. Each section of the linguistic content is provided in a clear and easily distinguishable manner, and the content is well organized
The Use of Hot Potatoes in Nahwu Learning
No full textThe purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of the use of hot potatoes in nahwu (mubtada khobar) of the class viii MTS Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. In this study using quantitative research methods the true design of experiments that use pre-test and post-test. Based on the research that\u27s been done that 1. The control class student\u27s learning indicates an increase in learning without the use of hot potatoes by the pre-test average of 35.00 and a post-test of 46.36 which is an improvement in post-test results. It was then decided that learning the control class could improve even if it did not use hot potatoes. 2. The study of the experimental student class indicates an increased in the nahwu learning by using hot potatoes was seen by the pre-test average of 48.16 and a post-test of 67.37, which is an increase in post-test results. It was then decided that learning in experimental classes could improve by using hot potatoes. 3. Comparative results of an average post-test experiment and control class using an independent sample t test because of normal distributed data, and gained a value of 0.001 less than 0.05, so there is a significant difference between the two. Pendidikan mempunyai jenis salah satunya yaitu pendidikan agama islam di mana pendidikan ini memiliki tujuan untuk membimbing dan mendidik seseorang untuk memahami ajaran agama islam dan meningkatkan sikap religius seseorang. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, diperlukan adanya strategi pembelajaran khususnya kepada mahasiswa agar pelaksanaan pembelajaran efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam mata kuliah agama khususnya seminar pendidikan agama islam terhadap mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan religius mahasiswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian memiliki kesimpulan bahwa kualitas Seminar Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pelaksanaannya telah baik, namun urgensi atau efek dari pelaksanaan SPAI terhadap berpikir kritis maupun sikap religius mahasiswa belum dirasakan secara optimal
EFL secondary school students\u27 experiences in performing ideas using Prezi presentation
Get PDFUsing sophisticated technology in EFL has been a source of considerable debate. As a part of the Web 2.0 movement, Prezi lets users generate, produce, and preserve virtual demonstrations. While a substantial study has been conducted on the benefits and downsides of utilizing Prezi presentations, there is scarce research on students\u27 experiences with using Prezi. The study aims to look at pupils\u27 perspectives on using Prezi in learning English to fill the gap. Twenty students from a private secondary school in Mojokerto, Indonesia, were examined. This exploratory qualitative case study used a purposive sampling strategy. They answered ten interview questions, which the researchers examined using content analysis. The findings revealed that students\u27 experiences using Prezi and making Prezi demonstrations could be divided into four primary topics: serviceability, effectiveness, design, and hindrances. Using Prezi, students experienced producing more interactive visuals for their production than standard PowerPoint slides. In line with this study, Prezi\u27s revolutionary features transform the report from a monotonous and direct way into a fascinating, stunning, practical, and nonlinear style. Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis CTL Materi Ekosistem Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII MTs
Get PDFTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis CTL Materi Ekosistem yang memiliki kriteria valid dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas VII MTs Fathul Jannah Palangka Raya. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang merupakan dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi lembar validasi (ahli materi dan media), angket respon peserta didik dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Uji coba produk hanya dilakukan pada skala kecil dengan melibatkan 5 orang peserta didik. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Berbasis CTL Materi Ekosistem layak digunakan untuk uji skala besar setelah dilakukan perhitungan validasi dan kepraktisan. Validasi dari ahli materi sebesar 3.33 dan ahli media 3.45, keduanya masuk kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan LKPD dilihat melalui angket respon peserta didik dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Skor keseluruhan dari angket respon peserta didik diperoleh hasil sebesar 3.40 sedangkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 4.33, keduanya masuk kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis pada uji skala kecil
Can Wordwall Application Improve Students’ Arabic Mastery?
Get PDFWordwall is one of the applications that is widely used in learning foreign languages. In Arabic language learning, wordwall is still studied and researched only at the level of qualitative research or only at describing its application process in learning. However, no one has tested it in the framework of the experiment to see its effectiveness. This study investigates the effectiveness of learning Arabic using Wordwall based on learning outcomes. It uses a pre-experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. It recruited 72 first-year students in the Arabic language reinforcement program under UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Language Development Center. The primary data is collected using pretest and posttest results, and then the results are analyzed using the t-test. Findings revealed that using Wordwall in the Arabic learning process effectively improved the student\u27s Arabic skills

Implementasi Media Asesmen Berbasis Gamifikasi terhadap Motivasi Belajar Biologi Siswa MAN Kotawaringin Timur
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik dan pengaruh implementasi media asesmen berbasis gamifikasi terhadap motivasi belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Pra-Eksperimental dan desain penelitian One Grup Pretest-Posttest. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 120 orang siswa kelas XI IPS. Instrumen yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi angket motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah implementasi pembelajaran. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis uji-t menggunakan Microsoft Office 365 yaitu pada t-Test: Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebelumnya tingkat motivasi belajar siswa hanya sebesar 55% dengan kategori rendah sebelum diterapkannya pembelajaran biologi menggunakan media asesmen berbasis gamifikasi, dan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa setelah implementasi pembelajaran berbasis asesmen gamifikas
