The Impact of Learning Management System “arabi.id” Web-Based Application on Developing ArabicLanguage Skills
Get PDFUntil recently, few educational institutions have developed and integrated Arabic language learning curricula with LMS. This study aims to develop a proposed Learning Management System (LMS) program designed to enhance the Arabic proficiency of non-native speakers. It investigates the impact of this program on cognitive fulfilment and language advancement among non-native Arabic learners at the University of Darussalam Gontor, Indonesia. The researcher utilized a quasi-experimental and descriptive research approach, deemed most suitable for this study\u27s nature. Data collection involved 80 students from the University of Darussalam Gontor, employing various tools such as tests, questionnaires, interviews, and observation. The study yielded significant outcomes, including creating the proposed LMS, arabi.id. After completing the research, statistically significant improvements were observed in the experimental and control groups\u27 listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities, with a more substantial positive impact on the experimental group. Moreover, the experimental group\u27s pretest and post-test results showed statistically significant differences in proficiency levels (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). The study\u27s findings suggest that non-native Arabic speakers can benefit from e-learning courses to enhance their language skills. Recommendations include implementing LMS-based Arabic instruction, encouraging instructors to integrate LMS into the Arabic teaching curriculum, and increasing the availability of Arabic educational websites
The Stigmatization of Arabic Language Radicalism-Terrorism, Religiosity, and Student Learning Motivation
Get PDFThe stigma of Arabic as a radical language affects motivation, leading to disinterest in Arabic. This study aims to find out the relationship between the stigmatization of Arabic radicalism-terrorism and religiosity and the motivation to learn Arabic among students of Muhammadiyah Mataram University (UMMAT). It uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. The results of the partial test show that there is no relationship between the stigmatization of Arabic radicalism and terrorism and learning motivation, and there is a positive and significant relationship between religiosity and learning motivation, but both have a significant influence on motivation to learn Arabic. The results of this study provide theoretical implications that the stigmatization of Arabic radicalism and terrorism cannot be a predictor of motivation to learn Arabic. At the same time, religiosity can predict motivation to learn Arabic. As for the practical implications, which is how to motivate students to learn Arabic, it can be used to overcome the stigmatization of radicalism and terrorism in Arabic with meaningful perceptions and by continuously internalizing religiosity

This study aims to determine the process of preparing the supervision program, the techniques applied, and the implementation of supervision carried out by the principal of Nurul Fikri Palangka Raya. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method and data collection using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The research subject is the Principal of SDIT Nurul Fikri Palangka Raya. This study examines the implementation of the principal\u27s supervision of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process standards at SDIT Nurul Fikri Palangka Raya. Through an interview with the principal, Mrs. Lina Indah Purwati, M.Pd, on October 2023, this research highlights the effectiveness of supervision planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the principal had planned the supervision program well, focused on teachers\u27 difficulties in teaching, and carried out supervision regularly. Evaluation of the results of supervision is done carefully, and appropriate follow-up is given to PAI teachers. This is the principal\u27s effort to improve the quality of PAI learning and realize the school\u27s vision as an educational institution that implements national standards. Thus, the principal\u27s supervision has helped in achieving these goal

Get PDFPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat dipakai pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan acuan model ADDIE. Aplikasi Lab Equipment Games berfungsi untuk membantu siswa dalam mengenal nama alat-alat laboratorium yang tepat berdasarkan gambar beserta fungsinya. Berdasarkan validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media, aplikasi Lab Equipment Games termasuk dalam kategori yang layak dengan persentase keidealan sebesar 92,8%. Validasi oleh ahli materi tergolong pada kategori layak dengan persentase keidealan sebesar 93,08%. Berdasarkan angket siswa mengenai aplikasi Lab Equipment Games berbasis Android termasuk pada kategori layak dengan persentase keidealan sebesar 92,71% yang berarti media pembelajaran memiliki nilai realibitas lebih besar dari 75% sehingga media pembelajaran layak untuk dikembangkan
