Study of Islamic Education Thought in the Perspective of KH. Idham Chalid
Get PDFInitially named Arabische School which was educated by KH. Abdurrasyid, then changed its name to Madrasah Rasyidiyah during the time of KH. Juhri Sulaiman. Furthermore, it changed to Ma\u27had Rasyidiyah during the time of H. M. Arif Lubis and at the time of KH. Idham Chalid changed to Normal Islam and Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah which held the principle of tafaqquh fi ad din (Normal Islam). KH Idham Chalid\u27s efforts as the leader of the Pesantren at Normal Islam were to combine exact lessons and general science as support with a presentation of 60% religious lessons and 40% general lessons using Arabic as an introduction. Context related to the study of Islamic education thought and aspects of advancing Islamic education, especially during the struggle for independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Get PDFJeruk mahang merupakan produk lokal unggulan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah yang berasal dari desa Mahang di Kecamatan Pandawan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Referensi dan sumber belajar berbentuk buku ilmiah populer pada mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan masih sedikit, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan sumber belajar berupa buku ilmiah populer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan karakter morfologi tumbuhan jeruk mahang serta validitas isi buku ilmiah populer hasil karakteristik morfologi tumbuhan jeruk mahang di desa Mahang Kecamatan Pandawan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Educational Design Research (EDR). Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data penelitian dianalisis dan dibuat menjadi sebuah produk berupa buku ilmiah populer lalu divalidasi menggunakan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer dan dibatasi sampai uji ahli pakar. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa sampel tumbuhan jeruk mahang yang diteliti memiliki morfologi kualitatif yang sama, sedangkan karakter morfologi kuantitatifnya memiliki perbedaan dibagian panjang dan lebar daun, jumlah mahkota bunga, dan jumlah benang sari. Hasil persentase uji validitas buku ilmiah populer oleh validator ahli sebesar 81,71% masuk kategori cukup valid

The Urgency of Abou El Fadl\u27s Hermeneutics in the Book "In the Name of God"
Get PDFHermeneutics is a branch of philosophy concerned with interpreting meaning. In Islamic religion, hermeneutics have something in common with interpretation. It is the presence of a text or message, the person delivering it, and the person who needs to understand it. This writing aims to expose Khaled M. Abou El Fadl\u27s hermeneutics in his book On the Name of God, which arose from Khaled\u27s disagreement with the misogynistic fatwa issued by UCLA. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis. In solving the problems related to the interpretation of the text, Khaled Abou el Fadl offers to negotiate hermeneutics. Hermeneutics negotiates the complex interactions between three: the author, the text, and the reader. This research indicates that the role of the writer, text, and reader is more important than in religious texts. Additionally, the reader interpreting the text must fulfill five conditions: honesty, sincerity, integrity, rationality, and self-control. This approach emphasizes the importance of understanding the social, cultural, historical, and linguistic contexts behind religious texts to interpret them correctly. Several points emphasize the importance of Khaled Abou El-Fadl\u27s hermeneutics, namely contextuality, in-depth understanding, ethical and moral importance, responsive and relevant to the development of the times, the last being multidisciplinary use that combines knowledge of religion, history, philosophy, and social sciences
Exploring The Position and Role of Arabic in Indonesian Society: A Descriptive Analysis
Get PDFMany other researchers have made the contribution of Arabic to human life. However, more attention should be paid to the position and role of Arabic in society. Language is an effective medium of communication. Arabic certainly has many contributions that cannot be avoided from human life. This research aims to discover Arabic\u27s position and role in Indonesian society. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that (1) the position of Arabic in Indonesian society has broad benefits, namely as a source of knowledge, as a strengthening of daily worship, and as moral formation. (2) The role of Arabic in Indonesian society has a contribution, namely as a language of international communication, as a source of absorption language for Indonesians, and as a language of diplomacy (economic, political, and cultural). This research implies that we can further explore the position of the Arabic language, which has an important role and position in human life. This research implies that we can comprehensively know more details about the role and position of Arabic to provide wider information to the Indonesian people
The Impact of Jambi Malay Interference on Arabic Language Students in Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aimed to investigate the impact of Jambi Malay language interference on communication in Arabic. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach and combined corpus analysis methods, interviews, and observations to collect relevant data. The participants of the study were Jambi Malay speakers, in this case, the students of Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Gontor 10 Muara Sabak Jambi, who used Arabic in daily communication. The results showed that interference of Jambi Malay affected Arabic communication in several aspects. Regarding phonology, differences are found in pronouncing certain Arabic sounds, which can lead to inaccuracies and misunderstandings in using Arabic. In terms of vocabulary, this interference results in the use of loan words or meaning adaptation of Arabic words in Jambi Malay, causing changes in the meaning and misuse of words in Arabic communication. Jambi Malay sentence patterns, such as the placement of subjects at the end of sentences, affect how sentences are arranged in Arabic and cause discrepancies with correct Arabic grammar. Interference is also seen in using different conjunctions and connecting words between Jambi Malay and Arabic. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the impact of Jambi Malay interference on Arabic communication

Get PDFThis article discusses the problem of large queues at the student parking exit, because the majority of the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah academic community uses both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, so they need a parking area to park their vehicles and to control vehicles. The current parking space at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, namely the parking area next to the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Public Library, is insufficient. So the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta campus uses a dual payment system. Electronic parking system (E-Parking) and also taking steps to create an electronic parking system (E-Parking) using member cards for employees and electronic money (E-Money) for students to overcome traffic jams at the exit. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, where this research was carried out by understanding the phenomena that occurred at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, or observations made by the author within the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta environment. The sources used for this research method are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that to solve the traffic jams that often occur in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta area when students enter the campus area or leave the campus, the campus provides a solution, namely the innovation of implementing electronic parking (E-Parking) in the hope of reducing the number of traffic jams. which occurred in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta area. The use of electronic parking is not a solution to reduce congestion in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta area because considering the limited parking space provided by UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for parking, it would not be able to accommodate vehicles brought by students. Therefore, there are several solutions to make the UIN Jakarta parking area better, one of which is: 1. Adding more space for parking 2. Students are prohibited from bringing vehicles in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta area 3. Adding counters at the exit
