As a country that upholds human rights and Islamic values, academic freedom in Indonesia is in chaos, especially on hifz al-nafs and hifz al-‘aql fulfillment.     This research was motivated by the Sampit Religious Court which has the least number of e-litigation cases compared to another religious court in the Central Kalimantan Province. The aim of this research is to find out the e-litigation process at Sampit Religious Court and the response of the society towards the E-litigation proceedings at Sampit Religious Court. This research is qualitative research using an empirical juridical approach. The result of this research showed that the procedure for settling cases that carried out electronically or known as e-litigation at the Sampit Religious Court was based on Sepreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019.     Vocabulary is an element of a language. Vocabulary learning is learning where students don\u27t just memorize the vocabulary, but can also use it in communication both in speech and in writing. Mind Mapping is a creative note-taking method using how children\u27s radiant thinking works so that there is a balance between the functions of the two brains. The cooperative learning model is a learning activity in groups to work together to help each other construct concepts and solve problems.The use of mind mapping and cooperative learning models in vocabulary learning aims to make learning fun, not boring, and for students to teach one another, increasing Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to: (1) Determine the effect of mind mapping in increasing the Arabic vocabulary of class VIII SMP Yamassa Surabaya. (2) Knowing the effect of the cooperative learning model on increasing the Arabic vocabulary of Grade VIII students at SMP Yamassa Surabaya. (3) Knowing the effect of mind mapping and cooperative learning models on increasing Arabic vocabulary for class VIII SMP Yamassa Surabaya.This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. The sampling technique was carried out randomly, the data was expressed in numbers and analyzed with statistical techniques to test the established hypothesesThe conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) there is an effect of mind mapping on increasing students\u27 Arabic vocabulary by looking at the results of T Count = 3.302 greater than T Table = 2.030 and a significance level of 0.002 less than 0.050. (2) there is an effect of the cooperative learning model on increasing students\u27 Arabic vocabulary by looking at the results of T Count = 2.360 greater than T Table = 2.030 and a significance level of 0.024 less than 0.050. (3) there is an influence between mind mapping and cooperative learning models on increasing students\u27 Arabic vocabulary with the result that F count = 40.250 is greater than F table = 3.23 and a significant point of 0.000 is less than 0.05. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution, especially at SMP YAMASSA SURABAYA

    Despite multiple studies that have broadly highlighted the positives of employing metacognitive reading strategies, there remains an absence of the rationale for adopting the reading strategy based on the students\u27 perspectives. The present study aims to look into first-year EFL students\u27 preferences for using metacognitive reading strategies as part of an extensive reading (ER) program at one of the public universities in Malang, Indonesia. The data were acquired from both quantitative and qualitative data sources. The fundamental data were garnered from a quantitative online survey, and the results were counted using descriptive statistics. Semi-structured interview sessions with six participants were carried out to collect qualitative data, and the results served as a means to strengthen the primary data. The results revealed that the problem-solving reading strategy proved to be the most commonly used in the ER program, followed by global and support reading strategies. The reading strategies advanced students\u27 reading comprehension. Students could also strengthen their language skills, particularly reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and writing abilities. The study findings implied considering an alternative teaching strategy and understanding how students find it most helpful to assist them in a supervised ER program
