    Religious Cultural Strategy in Forming Character of Akhlakul Karimah in Students

    Religious culture as a strategy is an important step in shaping the character of students towards a more religious "Akhlakul Karimah". Religious culture as a strategy is often the subject of discourse, especially those that discuss the development, utilization, and implications so that the discourse on the implementation of religious culture as a school strategy in shaping religious character "Akhlakul Karimah" tends to be neglected in scientific discussions. In line with that, this study focuses on the question "How is the implementation of religious culture as a school strategy in shaping the religious character of "Akhlakul Karimah" in students?" To answer this question, this study uses a qualitative approach by conducting observations and interviews with teachers and students. The findings in this study show that religious culture is not only an effective and sustainable strategy in shaping "akhlakul karimah" religious character in learners but also equips learners with relevant values and skills for the future. Religious culture as a strategy is implemented by schools through the implementation of a multicultural curriculum and interfaith activities among learners that prioritize the development of "Akhlakul Karimah" religious value

    Majelis Taklim Bustanul Qur\u27an Tumbang Manggu Village, Katingan Regency is a forum for worshipers in studying various kinds of Islamic religious knowledge, one of which is knowledge in reading the Qur\u27an for adult worshipers. The need for mentors to provide motivation in reading the Qur\u27an, especially for adult worshipers, is very important, as happened in the Majelis Taklim Bustanul Qur\u27an Tumbang Manggu Katingan Regency. This is very necessary because the worshipers are adults, so tenacious and patient guidance is needed considering the difficulty of learning the Qur\u27an in adulthood.This research was conducted at the Bustanul Qur\u27an Taklim Assembly, Tumbang Manggu Village, Katingan Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the motivation to learn the Qur\u27an at Majelis Taklim Bustanul Qur\u27an Tumbang Manggu Village, Katingan Regency. The results of the study indicate that the role of religious guidance is very important in increasing the Motivation to Learn the Qur\u27an for the Jamaah, the religious guidance process begins with reciting together with the mentor then proceeds with reciting alone or privately by being listened to by the mentor and other worshipers, Taushiyah, and Questions and Answers. The method used by religious advisors is the method of congregation and question and answer. The effect of religious guidance carried out by religious mentors is an increase in devotion to Allah SWT and being able to read the Qur\u27an properly and correctly

    Ibnu Sina: A Reconciliation Between Religion, Philosophy, Divinity, Soul, and Islamic Education

    This research aims to discuss Ibn Sina\u27s thought in harmonizing religion, philosophy, divinity, soul, and Islamic education. As a leading Muslim philosopher, Ibn Sina successfully integrated rationalism and spirituality, especially in the concept of divinity that he designed through the theory of emanation. He also developed a theory of the soul rooted in Aristotelian-Neoplatonic thought, in which the human soul is seen as having different levels in achieving perfection. In the Islamic education system, Ibn Sina emphasized the importance of students\u27 intellectual and moral development and the role of teachers in guiding them towards the perfection of the soul. According to him, education is not only limited to the transfer of knowledge, but also a process of character building and the refinement of human potential. This research uses a literature research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach, namely by reviewing various relevant literature to understand more deeply the thoughts of Ibn Sina. The results showed that the concepts developed by Ibn Sina are still relevant in the world of education and contemporary Islamic philosophy. His thinking provides a balanced perspective between intellect and spirituality, which can be the basis for the development of a more comprehensive and holistic Islamic education

    The Influence of Gamolan Musical Instrument Media on Children\u27s Musical Abilities in Group B RA Perwanida 2 Palembang

    This study was motivated by evidence that Group B children at RA Perwanida 2 Palembang had low musical ability, shown by undirected instrument play and weak scale recognition, likely due to limited music-learning media. Because music in early childhood provides sensory–emotional stimulation through play consistent with Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), this research examined whether the traditional gamolan instrument could enhance musical ability while supporting Islamic educational aims such as cultivating aesthetic sensitivity (jamal), rhythmic discipline, gratitude, and awareness of God’s orderly creation. A quantitative pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design was used. From a population of 137 children (classes B1–B7), 17 children in class B1 were selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and musical ability tests, then analyzed with validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and t-test procedures. Results indicated clear improvement after gamolan-based learning: the mean score rose from 21.41 (pretest) to 52.00 (posttest), with tcount 11.600 exceeding ttable 2.131 at α = 0.05, leading to rejection of H0. Thus, gamolan significantly improves children’s musical ability, offering joyful, play-based learning that sharpens auditory sensitivity, emotional control, and rhythmic discipline, strengthens local cultural identity, and supports positive character growth in early grades

    The Qur’an conveys messages of both promise and warning as recompense for human deeds, whether good or evil. One form of divine threat against reprehensible behavior is expressed through the term wail, which appears 27 times in various verses. This study examines the meaning of wail in the Concise Interpretation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag RI), addressing the research question: how is the term wail interpreted in this tafsir? The research employs a library-based, thematic, and descriptive-analytical method using a linguistic approach. The writing structure follows a thematic tafsir framework that explains the Qur’anic texts, messages, and guidance related to the term wail, and analyzes its interpretation within the context of the Kemenag tafsir. The findings show that the meaning of wail in the Concise Interpretation of Kemenag RI varies according to the verse and the human behavior it addresses. The term wail is interpreted as “destruction” for liars who fabricate falsehoods in the name of Allah; “woe” for sinners who deny Allah’s promises and power; “woe” for slanderers and backbiters; and “woe” for dishonest traders who cheat in measurement. Moreover, wail also means “destruction” for those who neglect their prayers and perform them lazily. Overall, the term wail in this tafsir reflects Allah’s stern warning against various immoral behaviors that disregard truth and piety

    This paper aims to examine more deeply the polemics in child custody after divorce by reviewing Islamic perspectives and gender justice.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze the polemics over childcare rights after divorce in the perspective of Islam and gender justice. This research shows that in the polemics over child custody after divorce, the main focus should not be on who is entitled to custody, but how the two parents, father and mother can work together in meeting the needs of love and welfare of the child. In the Islamic perspective, both father and mother have responsibilities towards children according to their respective roles. This research provides insight into how the concept of child custody in Islam can be applied fairly by considering the principles of gender justice and the best interests of the child.     Ritual Tian Mandaring (7 Bulanan) Masyarakat Banjar Di Kalimantan Tengah

    Tulisan ini membahas tentang ritual 7 bulanan menjadi sebuah kekayaaan budaya lokal khususnya di Kalimantan Tengah. Dengan demikian, pokok permasalahan nya adalah bagaimana asal usul dan prosesi ritual 7 bulanan, bagaimana analisis menggunakan teori ritus peralihan pada prosesi ritual 7 bulanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui tentang: (1) asal-usul dan prosesi ritual 7 bulanan yang dilaksanakan masyarakat di Desa Pegatan Kecamatan Katingan Kuala Kabupaten Katingan, (2) prosesi dan makna dari ritus peralihan ritual 7 bulanan bagi masyarakat Banjar di Desa Pegatan dari sebuah peninggalan nenek moyang dan budaya yang masih bercorakan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah etnografi (kualitatif), yaitu penelitian lapangan dengan 1 orang tokoh adat yang berusia 55 tahun, 2 orang tokoh agama yang berusia 47-51 tahun, dan 7 orang tokoh masyarakat yang berusia 25-80 tahun secara gender di antaranya laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya prosesi ritual 7 bulanan dengan kajian ritus peralihan menggunakan tiga fase dalam kehidupan, seperti pra liminal (pemisahan), liminal (fase antara atau transisi), dan pasca liminal (fase bergabung). Pada ketiga fase tersebut bahwa budaya lokal terkait ritual 7 bulanan, masyarakat Banjar mengalami pemisahan wilayah atau bertrasmigrasi ke satu wilayah ke wilayah lain di Kalimantan Tengah tepatnya di Desa Pegatan.     One of the things that can influence children\u27s interest in participating in extracurricular activities is family support. By using three indicators, namely (1) Providing Opportunities, (2) Providing Information, and (3) Providing Facilities, as well as Arifin\u27s indicator theory, this study aims to determine the extent to which family support influences students\u27 interest in participating in extracurricular activities at school. This study was attended by 51 fourth grade students of SDIT Al Izzah Kota Serang. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly with a Likert scale. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis showed 0.265 or 26.5%, while other factors not studied influenced students\u27 interest by 73.5%. Thus, with a total influence of 26.5%, it can be said that Family Support (X) has a positive effect on Student Interest (Y).  This study indicate that family support affects students\u27 interest in extracurricular activities.Salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi minat anak dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah dukungan keluarga. Dengan menggunakan tiga indikator, yaitu (1) Pemberian Kesempatan, (2) Pemberian Informasi, dan (3) Pemberian Sarana, serta teori indikator Arifin, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dukungan keluarga mempengaruhi minat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 51 siswa kelas IV SDIT Al Izzah Kota Serang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket secara langsung dengan skala likert. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sebesar 0,265 atau 26,5%, sedangkan faktor lain yang tidak diteliti mempengaruhi minat siswa sebesar 73,5%. Dengan demikian, dengan total pengaruh sebesar 26,5% dapat dikatakan bahwa Dukungan Keluarga (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap Minat Siswa (Y)

    Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Dan Ketrampilan Mengajar Terhadap Kinerja Guru SDN 44 Amban Manokwari Papua Barat: Indonesia

    This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and teaching skills on teacher performance at SDN 44 Amban, Manokwari, West Papua. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 20 teachers as samples. Data analysis techniques used include the T test to determine the effect of each variable partially and the F test to see the effect simultaneously. The results of the T test show that work motivation (X1) has a significance value of 0.018 and teaching skills (X2) of 0.001, both of which are smaller than the significance level of 0.05. The t-count value for work motivation is 2.612 and teaching skills is 3.823, greater than the t-table value of 2.10982. This shows that both variables have a significant positive effect on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the results of the F test show a significance value of 0.000 and an F-count of 12.508, which is greater than the F-table of 3.59, indicating that work motivation and teaching skills together have a significant effect on teacher performance. Thus, it can be concluded that both work motivation and teaching skills contribute significantly to improving teacher performance, and both support each other in creating a quality learning processPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan keterampilan mengajar terhadap kinerja guru di SDN 44 Amban, Manokwari, Papua Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 20 guru. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji T dan uji F untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh masing-masing variabel terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil uji T, nilai signifikansi untuk motivasi kerja (X1) adalah 0,018 dan keterampilan mengajar (X2) adalah 0,001, yang keduanya berada di bawah standar error 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari kedua variabel tersebut terhadap kinerja guru. Selain itu, nilai t-hitung untuk motivasi kerja sebesar 2,612 dan keterampilan mengajar sebesar 3,823, yang keduanya lebih besar dari nilai T-tabel (2,10982), semakin menguatkan kesimpulan adanya pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan nilai F hitung 12,508 yang lebih besar dari F-tabel 3,59, yang menegaskan bahwa variabel motivasi kerja dan keterampilan mengajar secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa baik motivasi kerja maupun keterampilan mengajar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dan keduanya bekerja secara sinergis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajara
