Criticism Of The Nisab Agricultural Zakat in The Indonesian National Mazhab
Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 52 of 2014 is the current regulation in Indonesia as a reference for zakat calculation procedures, one of which is the agricultural zakat nisab of 653 kilograms of grain. This article aims to examine the agricultural zakat nisab unit. This study uses a normative method with a qualitative juridical approach through a literature study that aims to analyze the suitability between theory and practice and evaluate the policies\u27 relevance. The results of the study show that, first, rice units are more appropriate for use as agricultural zakat nisab units. Second, determining the nisab of grain is potentially burdensome for sharecroppers or farm laborers who, in some cases, are eligible to be zakat recipients. With the changes through the Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 69 of 2014 and Number 31 of 2019, the results of this study are increasingly relevant as a reference for academic papers for policymakers, especially in compiling regulations related to agricultural zakat. This article provides an academic contribution to the development of zakat studies and becomes practical input to increase the effectiveness of zakat management in Indonesia
Optimizing the Duties and Functions of Educators in the Islamic Education Environment from the Al-Qur\u27an Perspective
Every educator has duties and functions in working in educational institutions. However, these duties and functions have not been fulfilled optimally by educators. Some educators know their responsibilities and some know their duties and functions but do not carry them out well. In fact, in the Al-Qur\u27an it is stated in Surah Al-Isra: verse 24 that as an educator you should have an attitude of nurturing, nurturing, and educating. However, in reality, there are still many cases where educators only transfer knowledge. Meanwhile, the caring attitude has not been fully implemented optimally. The purpose of this research is to explain the duties and functions of educators carried out in the Islamic education environment. Second, it explains the Al-Quran\u27s perspective on the duties and functions of educators. The method used in this research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The object of this research was carried out at Islamic educational institutions, especially educators in the Muhamamdiyah environment in Jember Regency. Data collection techniques use observation of educators\u27 performance, interviews with Muhammadiyah school supervisors, civil service bureaus, school principals, and educators, and documentation. The data analysis technique applies source triangulation. The results of this research found that optimizing the duties and functions of educators in the Islamic education environment can run optimally with policy socialization and scheduled or open evaluations. These duties and functions include online attendance, activeness in recitation, performance evaluation, providing performance allowance rewards, nurturing, nurturing, guiding, perfecting, and building characterful student behavior. Apart from that, the duties and functions of educators are to be mentors for junior educators and as an honest, kind, and open work team. From an Islamic perspective, duties and functions are based on Ali Imran\u27s letter: 104; Surah Ar Rahman: 4; Surah Al-Anbiya:80; Luqman\u27s letter: 13; and Surah Al Isra\u27: 24
Pemanfaatan Buku Ajar Elektronik Interaktif Untuk Pembagunan Berkelanjutan Sebagai Solusi Dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Berkelanjutan Siswa SMP
Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya penggunaan buku ajar elektronik berbasis Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) bagi siswa SMP, dengan fokus pada pembelajaran yang interaktif dan multidireksional untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan keberlanjutan. Metode penelitian ini adalah deksriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan metode wawancara dengan guru IPA, kuesioner dengan 30 sampel siswa, dan tinjauan literatur. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan E-book interaktif berbasis ESD masih terbatas, meskipun disadari kepentingannya. Mayoritas guru menggunakan buku cetak sebagai bahan ajar utama, namun kebutuhan akan E-book interaktif diakui penting oleh siswa. Namun, implementasinya masih sedikit, walaupun mayoritas setuju E-book interaktif berbasis ESD menarik dan penting dalam pembelajaran IPA. Permintaan akan alat pembelajaran yang menarik meningkat karena pandemi COVID-19, mendorong usulan penggunaan E-book. E-book menawarkan fitur-fitur menarik seperti video interaktif, materi bacaan relevan, dan kuis interaktif, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis. Integrasi ESD dalam E-book memberikan kesempatan untuk merevolusi pendidikan dengan memberdayakan siswa dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang tantangan lingkungan global. Kesadaran akan keberlanjutan membantu siswa memahami pentingnya perlindungan lingkungan, keseimbangan ekosistem, dan dampak tindakan individu terhadap lingkungan. Hal ini sangat penting karena siswa adalah generasi mendatang yang akan mewarisi dunia ini, sehingga pemahaman mereka tentang prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan sangatlah vital untuk pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini merekomendasikan pengujian menyeluruh dan analisis perbandingan antara E-book berbasis ESD dengan sumber daya tradisional lainnya untuk mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan keberlanjutan di kalangan siswa SMP. Competing for Spiritual Authority in Majelis Sholawat Al-Banjari (MSB) in Serdang Bedagai
The paper described the struggle for spiritual authority occurred in the Majelis Sholawat al-Banjari (MSB) in Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra. This research aims to explained the occurrence of power struggles that began with conflicts between Tuan Guru MSB who questioned the source of spiritual authority regarding the practice of reciting Maulid Simtudduror. This research attempted to collect factual data through observation, interviews, and documentation using a field study. The data is described descriptively and analytically to illustrate how the struggle for spiritual authority is played out and how spiritual authority is formed, fought for, and defended. The results of the study explain that the struggle for authority is influenced by the source of spiritual authority by claiming that Tuan Guru has an ijazah/sanad. In contrast, another Tuan Guru claims to be waliyullah to gain support from the congregation and the Banjar community to fight over who has the most right to be the deliverer and teacher in the MSB. The struggle ends with Tuan Guru MSB who has an ijazah/sanad that has authenticity value as evidence of teachings that connect the teaching of reading Maulid Simtudduror to Guru Sekumpul as a student of legitimate spiritual authority. Meanwhile, recognition as waliyullah is only a form of strengthening Tuan Guru in playing the role of spiritual authority to gain the support of the congregation and the trust of urang Banjar
Flexible Syllabus Design in EFL Curriculum A Qualitative Literature Review on Adaptation Strategies for Diverse Learners
This qualitative literature review explores the importance of flexible syllabus design in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education. Flexibility in syllabus design is crucial to accommodate learners’ diverse needs, abilities, and contexts. The study systematically analyzes eight key academic sources discussing various syllabus design approaches; such as task-based, content-based, and negotiated syllabi—and emphasizes the significance of involving students in the planning process. Using thematic analysis, the review identifies common strategies for adapting materials, teaching methods, and assessments to be more relevant and inclusive. The main findings indicate that a flexible syllabus enhances student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. These results suggest that flexibility in curriculum design is a key component of effective, learner-centered EFL instruction and should be promoted in policy and practice

This research is a library research study on the results of fatwas produced by the MUI, the Indonesian Ulama Council, with the dimensions of several fatwas that are "indicated" of carrying out denominations of heterogeneity and pluralism of Islamic diversity in Indonesia, the theme raised is "Muslim Majority Denomination against Muslim Minorities in Indonesia: MUI Fatwa Study on Islamic Religious Flows in Indonesia" there are two important questions in this study, first how is the concept of Denomination in Islamic studies (genealogy, history and transformation)? and secondly, is there a Muslim Majority Denomination against Muslim Minorities in Indonesia: MUI Fatwa studies on religious sects in Indonesia? with historical studies and concept analysis in the form of content analysis to provide a very in-depth explanation of the concept of denomination in Islamic studies (starting from the study of denomination genealogy, historical studies related to the theory of religious denominations, and thirdly the matter of transformation of religious denominations) and secondly reading all fatwas about flow. The diversity issued by the MUI in Indonesia with the theory of the religious denomination, and what impact it has on the process of diversity in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that religious denominations do occur in all corners of the world, this theory originates from religious denominations in Europe and it turns out that the pattern of denominations is almost the same in all other parts of the world, although several different cases are exceptions, and secondly, there are several indications related to MUI studies and fatwas related to religious sects have "strong indications" of a structured denomination pattern wrapped in study knowledge that is considered "representative" by the MUI itself and this dimension provides space for the existence of a Muslim Majority Denomination against Muslim Minorities in Indonesi
UPAYA PENGEMBANGAN HOME INDUSTRY OLEH PEMERINTAH DAERAH KOTA PALANGKA RAYA
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya pelaku usaha rumahan yang mengalami penurunan penjualan dan sulitnya pemasaran masa covid-19. Peran pemerintah daerah Kota Palangka Raya melalui Dinas Perdagangan, Koperasi, Usaha Kecil Menengah dan Perindustrian sangat penting dalam pengembangan usaha yang terjadi sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada peran dan pelaksanaan pemerintah daerah dalam pengembangan home industry melalui DPUKMP Kota Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini Kabid UMKM, Kasi Pengembangan UMKM, dan Kasi Pemberdayaan Industri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa DPUKMP Kota Palangka Raya melaksanakan program pengembangan usaha melalui pelathan seperti pemasaran digital, manajemen usaha dan keterampilan serta bantuan langsung tunai (BLT), peralatan usaha, sertifikasi merk dan halal. Meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai program, pemerintah daerah belum maksimal dalam pengembangan usaha ini disebabkan oleh sumber daya manusia dan anggaran yang terbatas serta penurunan penjualan bagi pelaku usaha. Pemanfaatan media sosial merupakan solusi untuk melakukan strategi pemasaran dan kerja sama dengan pihak swasta dalam bentuk bantuan sosial serta merekrut pegawai negeri sipil yang memiliki keahlian diberbagai bidang usaha
