SAVI Learning Model and Its Effect on Students’ Interest in Islamic Religious and Character Education
Learning interest is a crucial factor determining the effectiveness of the learning process, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Building. This study examined the effect of the SAVI learning model on students\u27 learning interest, particularly in terms of student engagement, at SMP Negeri 1 Waway Karya. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental post-test-only control group design. The sample consisted of two seventh-grade classes, selected through simple random sampling: the experimental class, which used the SAVI learning model, and the control class, which used teacher-centered learning methods. The research instrument was a non-test questionnaire that measured student engagement in learning. The results of normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variance. The Independent Samples t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.037 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The average learning interest in the experimental group was 75.4, while that in the control group was 68.1, with standard deviations of 5.8 and 7.2, respectively. Cohen\u27s d value for the effect size was 0.548, indicating a moderate effect. These findings demonstrate that the SAVI learning model has a significant and positive impact on increasing students\u27 interest in learning. Therefore, this study confirms that the application of the SAVI model is feasible in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education, encouraging student engagement and enthusiasm.Minat belajar merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, termasuk pada mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti. Namun, hasil pra-penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Waway Karya menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI masih rendah akibat metode pembelajaran yang hanya berpusat pada guru dan kurang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually) terhadap minat belajar peserta didik, khususnya pada indikator keterlibatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental post-test only control group. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas VII yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran SAVI dan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh pembelajaran teacher center. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket non-tes dengan indikator keterlibatan peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas, data dinyatakan berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians yang homogen. Hasil uji Independent Samples t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,037 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran SAVI berpengaruh signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa model SAVI layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti untuk mendorong keterlibatan dan antusiasme siswa
KEDUDUKAN MAHAR DALAM TAJDI
This research is motivated by the differences in the position of dowry in tajdiddun nikah. that occurs in society. In this case, the head of the religious affairs office (KUA) gave several oponions regarding the position of the dowry in the tajdiddun nikah. Therefore, the focus of this research is on the position of dowry in tajdiddun nikah and what arguments are used by the marriage officer regarding the legal position of dowry in tajdiddun nikah in Palangka Raya City. The qualitative method used in this research uses empirical legal research with a sociological juridical type with a socio-legal approach. The results of the research show: 1. There are 4 opinions regarding the position of Mahar in tajdiddun nikah. First, requiring a new dowry at the in tajdiddun nikah on the grounds that the previous dowry was the wife\u27s right and most likely the wife had already used the dowry. Second, the dowry in in tajdiddun nikah uses the old dowry, because in tajdiddun nikah does not cancel the first marriage. Third, the determination of the dowry depends on the condition of the tajdiddun nikah, if the tajdiddun nikah is only for KUA administration or the previous marriage is not invalidated then there is no need to use a new dowry, you can use the dowry from the first marriage. However, if the tajdiddun nikah is due to the words talak being spoken and the iddah period has been completed then it is obligatory to use a new dowry. Fourth, the determination of the dowry is based on the agreement of both parties, meaning that the amount or level of the dowry is determined by the husband and wife who wish to carry out in tajdiddun nikah, may use the old dowry or use the new dowry. 2. Among the arguments given by the marriage officer is that the harmony and conditions of marriage must be fulfilled, then based on the al-quran and the hadith of Rasulullah, KHI, the opinion of Imam Hajar Al-Haitami and the opinion of Imam Yusuf Al-Ardabili.

Children’s Legal Identity at Stake: Reconstructing Maqasid al-Syari\u27ah through Marriage Isbat Applications by the Second Generation in Pasuruan
The article explored the issue of legal identity among children born from nikah siri (unregistered marriages) in Pasuruan, Indonesia, who pursue isbat nikah to formally legalize their parents’ undocumented married. Based on earlier research that focused primarily on the marital relationship, the study highlighted a generational shift, wherein children from these married are no longer passive observers but active legal participants seeking access to inheritance, educational entitlements, and official guardianship. Utilizing a socio-legal qualitative methodology, the research employed interviews with petitioners, religious court judges, and representatives from the Office of Religious Affairs. The findings found out that isbat nikah serves not only as a corrective legal process but also as a strategic means to reintroduce excluded families into the formal legal framework of the state. From the theoretical view of maqasid al-syari\u27ah, the study shows how Islamic legal objectives including the preservation of lineage (hifz al-nasl), the pursuit of justice (‘adl), and the safeguarding of dignity (hifz al-‘ird) are being reshaped through judicial interpretation and community practice. The study enriched current discourse on legal pluralism, reform in Islamic family law, and the emergent role of youth in engaging with religious legal institutions. Although its scope is limited to Pasuruan, the research provides a foundation for comparative investigations into how second-generation actors operate within overlapping legal systems across Muslim-majority societies
The Effectiveness of E-Comic Media in Science Learning to Enhance Students’ Learning Interest: Insights from Ayat Kauniyah
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of e-comic media in enhancing students’ learning interest in science learning, while also offering insights from ayat kauniyah (Qur’anic signs in nature) as a complementary perspective in Islamic education. The use of e-comics in science learning is not only intended to increase motivation and engagement, but also to encourage students to observe and reflect on the magnificence of Allah’s creation through natural phenomena. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a Post-test Only Control Group, involving 66 fifth-grade students selected purposively. Learning-interest data were collected through validated questionnaires, and hypothesis testing was conducted using the Independent Sample T-test. The results show that the experimental group using e-comic media achieved a higher post-test mean score (75.4) compared to the control group (65.8). Statistical analysis using SPSS 26 for Windows revealed a significance value of 0.00 < 0.01, indicating a strong effect of e-comic media on students’ learning interest. These findings suggest that e-comic media is effective in improving students’ learning interest in science education and, when interpreted through the lens of ayat kauniyah, can support the cultivation of spiritual reflection, gratitude, and awareness of Allah’s signs within the broader aims of Islamic pedagogy

Menggabungkan pendekatan tradisional dan modern, tafsir ini menyajikan an`Alisis mendalam yang mencakup aspek linguistik, historis, dan kontekstual. Pendekatan sistematis yang digunakan berhasil mengharmonisasikan interpretasi klasik dan kontemporer, menjadikan kitab ini relevan untuk menjawab tantangan modern. Islamisasi di Kabupaten Lamandau: Kajian Historis Jalur Kesultanan Kutaringin, Perdagangan, dan Transmigrasi
Periodesasi islamisasi di kawasan Kabupaten Lamandau melalui empat jalur, yaitu jalur perkembangan wilayah kekuasaan Kesultanan Kutaringin, jalur perdagangan, jalur transmigrasi, dan jalur perkawinan. Hal tersebut tidak dapat dipisahkan dari proses islamisasi di Nusantara yang juga salah satunya melalui jalur perdagangan. Masyarakat Kabupaten Lamandau mempercayai bahwa pembawa Islam pada tahap awal yaitu para pedagang dari Kotawaringin Barat dan juga pedagang asal Kalimantan Selatan. Adapun yang mempercayai bahwa Islam dibawa dan mulai berkembang oleh Kyai Gede. Kemudian perkembangan Islam mulai pesat pada saat terjadinya program pemerintah yaitu pemekaran daerah dan juga program pemerintah yaitu transmigrasi.Periodesasi islamisasi di kawasan Kabupaten Lamandau melalui empat jalur, yaitu jalur perkembangan wilayah kekuasaan Kesultanan Kutaringin, jalur perdagangan, jalur transmigrasi, dan jalur perkawinan. The effectiveness of problem-based learning models using a steam approach to improve students\u27 mathematical modeling ability on static electricity materials
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model with the STEAM approach to improving students\u27 mathematical modeling ability (MMA) on static electricity material at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This form of research is a pre-experimental design type one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was class IXB students at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak (32 people), with a cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Test, Asymp values. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 (z< 0.05) shows that there are differences in the mathematical modeling ability of students in the pretest and posttest, with the level of effectiveness being in the very high category (d = 5.49). Based on response questionnaire data, 97% of students responded well to treatment, and 3% were in a suitable category. The study\u27s conclusion is applying the PBL model with a practical STEAM approach to improving the mathematical modeling ability of students on static electricity material at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak
Increasing scientific literacy in the inheritance and biotechnology chapter by implementing problem-based learning
This research aims to increase students\u27 scientific literacy at SMPN 2 Buduran by implementing problem-based learning. The method used is two cycles of CAR. As a result, in the context aspect of cycle I, 60% of students got a score of B, which increased in cycle II to 62.9% of students got a score of A. In the content aspect of cycle I, 66% got a score of B, then experienced an increase in cycle II, as many as 57.2% of students got a score of A. In the competency aspect of cycle I, as many as 51.6% of students got a score of C; this increased in cycle II, as many as 60% got a score of B. The increase in scientific literacy can be seen in the increase in student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the average class score on the pre-test was 66.2 with a completion percentage of 11.4%, then increased on the post-test with an average class score of 79.4 and a completion percentage of 68.5%. In cycle II, the average class score on the pre-test increased rapidly to 78, with a completion percentage of 62.8%. Then, in the post-test, it reached an average score of 91.4 and a completion percentage of 100%. Problem-based learning has been proven to increase student\u27s scientific literacy
Wasathiyah Approach in Education: An Effective Strategy to Counter Radicalism and Extremism
This article discusses the important role of education in facing the challenges of the spread of radicalism and intolerance in the educational environment. This research highlights the need to strengthen moderate religious values, such as Wasathiyah Islam, through a systematic and integrated learning approach. Using the critical discourse analysis method, this research identifies strategies to prevent the influence of extremism and intolerance while building a culture of inclusiveness and tolerance. The results show that the values of moderation, tolerance and brotherhood contained in the teachings of Wasathiyah Islam have strong relevance to be applied in education. This strategy includes the integration of these values into the curriculum, cross-subject learning, and extracurricular activities. In addition, this research emphasizes the importance of involving all stakeholders, including teachers, students and parents, to create a conducive and harmonious learning environment. Consistent application of these values is expected to build students\u27 critical awareness of the dangers of radicalism while strengthening their sense of community and social solidarity. Thus, education not only acts as a means of transferring knowledge, but also as an important instrument in maintaining diversity and building an inclusive future
Arabic Vocabulary Learning Methods:An Overview of Conceptualisations in Journal Articles: طرق تعلم المفردات العربية :لمحة عامة عن المفاهيم في المقالات الصحفية
Vocabulary is a crucial component of language acquisition and plays a key role in communicative competence. Mastery of Arabic vocabulary significantly influences overall language skills, making it essential for teachers to understand a variety of effective vocabulary teaching methods. This study aims to explore various Arabic vocabulary learning strategies by reviewing scientific articles published in Sinta 2 and Sinta 3 indexed journals between 2020 and 2024. The research employs a literature review method with a systematic approach based on Gough’s eight-step procedure. A total of 14 articles were analyzed to identify vocabulary learning strategies commonly applied. The findings reveal eight main methods: the use of mnemonic songs, Total Physical Response (TPR), sentence construction and writing techniques, language games, the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model, Think-Pair-Share strategy, cooperative learning, and imitation-based memorization. Additionally, the integration of digital tools such as Wordwall and online games proved to enhance vocabulary acquisition and learner motivation. These findings provide valuable insights for Arabic language teachers in selecting methods that align with learners’ characteristics and needs. The study recommends the adoption of varied and technology-supported approaches to improve the effectiveness of Arabic vocabulary learning
