LEGAL STUDY OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FEMICIDE PERPETRATORS (STUDY OF DECISION NUMBER 333/PID.B/2022/PN SMG)
This study aims to analyze future policies on the accountability of perpetrators of femicide in Indonesia; considerations of the panel of judges in sentencing perpetrators of femicide in Case Number 333/Pid.B/2022/PN Smg; and obstacles for the panel of judges in sentencing perpetrators of femicide in Case Number 333/Pid.B/2022/PN Smg and find solutions. This study uses a normative legal approach in the form of a conceptual approach, statute approach and comparative approach. The research data is in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials which are then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the study, it is concluded that (1) the regulation of future policies on the accountability of perpetrators of femicide in Indonesia is through regulations on the recognition of femicide as a special crime; regulations on increasing sentences for perpetrators of femicide; issuance of derivative regulations/implementing regulations; and strengthening collaboration with the TPKS Law and the PKDRT Law. (2) In sentencing the perpetrators of femicide in Case Number 333/Pid.B/2022/PN Smg, the panel of judges used legal, philosophical, and sociological considerations by considering aspects of retaliation, prevention, and justice. (3) The panel of judges in deciding on the criminal sentence for the perpetrators of femicide encountered obstacles in achieving a balance between justice and legal certainty as idealized in Radbruch's theory, so that the decisions taken were not fully in accordance with the moral, social, and legal demands expected. The solution to overcome these obstacles is the recognition of femicide in positive law in Indonesia; increasing access and quality of evidence by presenting expert sanctions in the field of gender-based violence; and developing responsive legal enforcement mechanisms
THE ANTIBIOTICS SENSITIVITY TEST ON STAPHYLOCOCCUS AND STREPTOCOCCUS FROM CHRONIC APICAL ABSCESS
Background: Prophylactic antibiotics are required as part of root canal therapy for patient with chronic apical abscess. Streptococcus and Staphylococcus are the most common bacteria found in root canals with chronic apical abscess. Resistance to amoxicillin, clindamycin and vancomycin has been increasing year after year, necessitating the use of a sensitivity test. The goal of this research was to determine the sensitivity of Streptococcus and Staphylococcus from root canals with chronic apical abscess to amoxicillin, clindamycin, and vancomycin to make scientific antibiotic selections.Method: Six isolates of Staphylococcus and one Streptococcus from root canals with chronic apical abscess were identified by Remel RapID and tested to 10 g amoxicillin, 2 g clindamycin, and 30 g vancomycin using Kirby-Bauer disk-diffusion sensitivity test. The diameter inhibition zone was measured and interpreted according to the CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) standard.Result: Three of six Staphylococcus are resistant, one of six are intermediate, and two are sensitive to amoxicillin. While the Streptococcus is sensitive to amoxicillin. In contrast, all Staphylococcus and the Streptococcus are resistant to clindamycin. Whilst four of six Staphylococcus are resistant, two are intermediate, and the Streptococcus is resistant to vancomycin. Conclusion: Staphylococcus sensitivity to amoxicillin and vancomycin are diverse even though resistant to clindamycin. In comparison, the Streptococcus sensitivity to clindamycin and vancomycin is resistant but sensitive to amoxicillin

Data analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate analysis, using the test chi square and Kolmogorov Spirnov to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables.Result: The results showed significance of statistical was found at relation number and region of tooth loss with quality of life (0.006). The highest number of tooth loss was in the range of 6-23 teeth. Anterior region was the most tooth lost. Most of elderly (67.2%) have good quality of life. Conclusion: There is relationship between number and region of tooth loss with quality of life related to oral healt

Background: Tooth extraction is one of minor oral surgical procedure and antibiotics are commonly prescribed before or after the tooth extraction procedure. Antibiotic is used as therapy or to prevent infections after tooth extractions. Recent studies discovered that misuse of antibiotics by dentists has been an issue nowadays. The purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency and varieties of antibiotics post tooth extraction used by dentists in Bandung City.Method: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach using a questionnaire. The samples in this study are general dentists and specialists in Bandung. The questionnaire was sent to dentists using proportionate stratified random sampling. Result: The most frequently used antibiotics in Bandung City are Amoxicillin 500 mg (83,1%) and Clindamycin (24,3%). Most respondents prescribed antibiotics after tooth extractions for 5 days. Conclusion: A small percentage of Dentists in Bandung City still prescribed antibiotics in conditions that do not always require antibiotics, such as simple post-extraction, irreversible pulpitis, and reversible pulpitis. Pretrial aims to supervise law enforcement officers so that they do not abuse their authority. Regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code, this supervision is important even though it is automatically attached to the institution where the law is based. This ensures that tasks are carried out in accordance with the rules and authority. This study aims to examine in depth the pretrial process in cases of suspect determination. The main focus of this study is to analyze the judge's considerations in deciding pretrial cases, as well as the concept of legal certainty in the context of pretrial determination of suspects. This study uses a normative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The data used include primary and secondary data obtained through interviews and literature studies. Finally, this study identifies the problems and criminal law policies related to the pretrial motion submission process in the future

The research problems are analyzed using the Law Enforcement theory, Restorative Justice theory, and Legal System theory. Law enforcement at the investigation level against children who are perpetrators of motorcycle theft in the jurisdiction of the Batu Ampar Police is faced with complex challenges. As perpetrators with child status, they have special protection regulated in various laws such as the Child Criminal Justice System Law which emphasizes different treatment from adults and efforts to protect children's rights at every stage of the legal process. The investigation process carried out against child perpetrators of crimes such as motorcycle theft involves the following stages: a). The arrest of children must be carried out very carefully and taking into account the rights of children. Detention of children can only be carried out if absolutely necessary, and must be in accordance with applicable legal provisions, namely separately from adult perpetrators. b). In the case of children, diversion is a process that must be considered from the investigation stage, especially if the crime committed does not involve violence or major losses. Diversion aims to resolve cases without having to go through the court process, with a restorative justice approach. This is the main step in handling child perpetrators of crimes to avoid the long-term negative effects of involvement in the criminal justice system
