Alteridad: Discursos convergentes sobre lo divergente en la pandemia
Get PDFIn recent times there has been a broad and reiterated political discourse inclusive of social diversity. Curiously, in pandemic times, a single global and hegemonic position appears. A discourse and measures that the majority of the population accepts, complies with and applauds. This work is a review of the opinion and valuation that subjects with different conceptions and actions are subject to by society; specifically about virus, emotions, measures, and freedom. Through interviews with the population, the aim is to reconstruct the criticism towards these dissimilar views, from the theoretical contribution of the construction of otherness. The findings show a configuration of a negative internal otherness of those who do not believe in the pandemic and do not follow the measures, described as ignorant and irresponsible, considered guilty that it does not end, who must be convinced or punished and excluded.En los últimos tiempos ha habido un amplio y reiterado discurso político incluyente de la diversidad social. En tiempos de pandemia curiosamente aparece una postura única global y hegemónica. Un discurso y unas medidas que la mayoría de la población acepta, cumple y aplaude. Este trabajo realiza una revisión sobre la opinión y valoración de que son objeto por parte de la sociedad sujetos con concepciones y acciones diferentes; en concreto sobre virus, emociones, medidas, y la libertad. A través de entrevistas a la población se persigue reconstruir la crítica hacia estas miradas disímiles, desde la aportación teórica de la construcción de la alteridad. Los hallazgos muestran una configuración de una alteridad interna negativa de quien no cree en la pandemia y no sigue las medidas, calificados de ignorantes e irresponsables, considerados culpables de que no acabe, a quienes hay que convencer o sancionar y excluir
Ladrando entre naturaleza y cultura: El carácter liminal del perro en la relación canino-humana de entornos urbanos
Get PDFThis article aims to contribute to human-animal studies, specifically those focused on canine-human relationship, with the contribution of a multispecies etnography investigation about the conformation and characteristics of the bond between humans and dogs. Those contributions represent a new way to see the relationship with the dog and the dog itself, both being on the limits of what separates the animal and the human, transforming the dog in a liminal being that walks between both worlds. This article pretends to show how the dualistic western cosmology between nature and culture constantly conditions the relationship between both species.Este artículo pretende contribuir a los estudios humano-animales, más concretamente a los centrados en la relación canino-humana, con las aportaciones de una investigación etnográfica multiespecie sobre la conformación y características del vínculo entre perros y humanos. Estas aportaciones suponen una nueva forma de ver la relación con el perro y al propio perro, estando ambos en los límites de lo que separa lo animal y lo humano, transformando al perro en un ser liminal que camina entre ambos mundos. Jung as the path of individuation with its different stages that would initiate us into an experience of totality; in these creations, the artists would represent through images different stages of this process that would lead us to the original image of the feminine principle as a unifier of the opposites, thus compensating for the deficiencies of our being.
In this article we will see which are these mnemonic images which would coincide with the secret doctrines, legends, mythical themes and ethnic images of peoples from different periods of history, demonstrating how there would be a homogeneity of the psyche of current artists who It would produce an abundant symbology with the power to metamorphose the human being due to its numerical character, integrating unconscious contents, and transforming our vision of the world and of ourselves.El arte escultórico de la mujer actual estaría repleto de símbolos de transformación concernientes a un proceso evolutivo de la psique designado por C. G. Jung como camino de individuación con sus distintas etapas que nos iniciarían en una experiencia de totalidad, en estas creaciones las artistas representarían mediante imágenes mnémicas distintas etapas de este proceso que nos llevarían a la imagen primigenia del principio femenino como unificador de los contrarios compensando así las carencias de nuestro ser.
En este artículo veremos cuáles son estas imágenes mnémicas las cuales coincidirían con las doctrinas secretas, las leyendas, los temas míticos y las imágenes étnicas de los pueblos de diferentes periodos de la historia, demostrando como habría una homogeneidad de la psique de las artistas actuales que produciría una abundante simbología con poder de metamorfosear al ser humano por su carácter numídico integrando contenidos inconscientes y transformando nuestra visión del mundo y de nosotros mismos

Get PDFHighly qualified migration is the main topic of this article, which addresses the issue from a qualitative perspective to a group of native Spanish doctors (Ph.D.) as migrants settled in the Republic of Ecuador during the period 2008-2018. It begins with a review of the empirical and theoretical contributions that seek to shed light on the international migration phenomenon at a general level, but also others more oriented and closer to highly qualified international mobility. Likewise, a methodological section is offered on the research which was carried out using a line of semi-structured in-depth interviews. The work develops several fields such as the results, discussions and conclusions regarding the findings obtained through the analysis of the contributions of this group of social scientists.La migración altamente cualificada es el tema principal de este artículo el cual aborda la cuestión desde una mirada cualitativa a un grupo de doctores (Ph.D.) españoles autóctonos en calidad de migrantes asentados en la República del Ecuador durante el periodo 2008-2018. Se da inicio mediante una revisión de los aportes empíricos y teóricos que procuran dar luces sobre el fenómeno migratorio internacional a nivel general, pero también otros más orientados y próximos a la movilidad internacional altamente cualificada. Asimismo, se ofrece un apartado metodológico sobre la investigación la cual se llevó a cabo bajo una línea de entrevistas en profundidad semiestructuradas. A case study on the influence of geometryand symbolism in Islamic Art withreference of Muslim’s religious Beliefs
Get PDF This paper aims to discuss the role of mathematics in the emergence of Islamic art. Islamic art is known for its geometrical patterns, decorative art and calligraphy. It is believed that the highly geometrical patterns is a result of the Quranic prohibition of making living beings. On the other hand, many researchers believed that Islamic artists got influenced by the platonic beliefs to adopt geometry to symbolically describe their ideas.
This research investigates the reason behind the great influence of geometry used to produce symbolism in Islamic art and architecture without replicating nature into artworks but to describe natural laws into geometrical forms with the reference of Quran. This paper shed the light on another perspective into this matter that Muslims were highly influenced by their religion and they practiced it not only in daily life but in art. They used Quranic descriptions of paradise to build heavenly gardens around the structures. The purpose of these ideas were to glorify Islam among other nations and to preach God’s message. No full textThis article deals with the analysis of the video-creation "Fractalidad desfragmentada" (Fractality defragmented) made from the conceptualisation and experimentation of new narrative languages in the form of an audiovisual collage. The approach to the subject is based on the different problems based on the construction of female identity influenced by the prevailing culture and approached from a creative critical paradigm. To this end, an investigation based on artistic practice itself is proposed as the basis for the construction of our knowledge.
The treatment of the project has a double semiotic perspective constructed from metaphors and other rhetorical resources in order to demonstrate the influence of social structures in the construction of identity. As Jose Luis Brea (2007) mentions, the eyes do not perceive everything that is in an image, although it reaches our brain unconsciously. Therefore, on the one hand, the symbolic parallelism is conceived from a perspective that is not evident, as occurs with the development of the creative process itself and the technical elaboration of any artistic work, where the structure of the montage and the use of the appropriation of images, without being visible, supports and conceptually bases the second significant approach to the thematic content.El presente artículo trata sobre el análisis de la videocreación “Fractalidad desfragmentada” realizada a partir de la conceptualización y experimentación de nuevos lenguajes narrativos a modo de collage audiovisual. El planteamiento de la temática parte de las diferentes problemáticas basadas en la construcción de la identidad femenina influenciada por la cultura imperante y enfocada desde un paradigma crítico creativo. Para ello se plantea una investigación basada en la propia práctica artística como fundamento de la construcción de nuestro conocimiento.
El tratamiento del proyecto tiene una doble perspectiva semiótica construida a partir de metáforas y otros recursos retóricos a fin de evidenciar la influencia de las estructuras sociales en la construcción de la identidad. Como menciona Jose Luis Brea (2.007) los ojos no perciben todo lo que hay en una imagen aunque llega de manera inconsciente a nuestro cerebro, por ello por una parte, el paralelismo simbólico es concebido desde una perspectiva que no es evidente, como como ocurre con el desarrollo del propio proceso de creación y la elaboración técnica de toda obra artística, donde la estructura del montaje y el uso del apropiacionismo de imágenes sin ser visibles, apoya y fundamenta conceptualmente del segundo enfoque significativo del contenido temático.
 
Narración oral y humor en educación primaria: percepciones de una comunidad educativa respecto a su incidencia en la creatividad y concentración de niños y niñas
Get PDFOral storytelling and humor, rooted in the history of humanity, stand out as powerful pedagogical tools in classrooms, promoting productive and pleasant study environments. The present research focused on the perception of an educational community on the impact of oral storytelling and humor on the creativity and concentration of basic education children. With a hermeneutic phenomenological qualitative approach, teachers, parents and third and fourth grade children from a subsidized school were involved. Data collection includes semi-structured interviews, observation and focus groups. The results highlight a positive perception and beneficial impact of oral storytelling and humor on creativity and concentration. The conclusion highlights that effectiveness depends on teachers\u27 mastery of these tools.La narración oral y el humor, enraizados en la historia de la humanidad, sobresalen como poderosas herramientas pedagógicas en las salas de clases, fomentando entornos productivos y agradables de estudio. La presente investigación se enfocó en la percepción de una comunidad educativa sobre la incidencia de la narración oral y humor en la creatividad y concentración de niños/as de educación básica. Con un enfoque cualitativo fenomenológico hermenéutico, se involucraron docentes, apoderados/as y niños/as de tercero y cuarto básico de un colegio subvencionado. La recolección de datos incluyó entrevistas semiestructuradas, observación y grupos focales. Los resultados destacan una percepción positiva y una incidencia beneficiosa de la narración oral y el humor en la creatividad y concentración. La conclusión subraya que la eficacia depende del dominio de estas herramientas por parte de las/os docentes.
 
Nociones básicas de fraseodidáctica y pasos para la construcción de una unidad didáctica centrada en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la fraseología
Get PDFKnowledge of one (or more) foreign language is very necessary for good communication between countries; for this reason a second language is taught in schools on a mandatory basis. The problem is that, at present, only the basic points defined by the educational law in force are taught. In our opinion, and as established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), it is necessary to know in depth the language of study, as well as its possible variants and common colloquial expressions. Among these expressions are the famous phrases made, paremias, locutions or placements (Phraseology); and his teaching-learning is known as Phraseeodidactic. The main objective is to give an overview of this discipline, still little exploited, and outline some key points to know how to introduce it in a teaching unit for the complete review and study of a foreign language (French in our case).El conocimiento de una (o varias) lengua extranjera es muy necesario para la buena comunicación entre países; por este motivo en los centros educativos se enseña un segundo idioma de manera obligatoria. El problema existente es que, actualmente, solo se enseñan los puntos básicos que vienen definidos por la ley educativa en vigor. A nuestro entender, y como establece el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas (MCERL), es necesario conocer en profundidad la lengua de estudio, así como sus posibles variantes y expresiones coloquiales más comunes. Entre estas expresiones se encuentran las famosas frases hechas, paremias, locuciones o colocaciones (Fraseología); y su enseñanza-aprendizaje se conoce como Fraseodidáctica. El objetivo principal es dar una visión general de esta disciplina, aún poco explotada, y esbozar unos puntos clave para saber introducirla en una unidad didáctica para la completa revisión y estudio de una lengua extranjera (francés en nuestro caso)
El efecto de la diversidad e independencia del consejo de administración en la existencia de un comité de sostenibilidad
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to enhance the understanding of the factors determining the existence of a “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR) committee on the board. Focusing the attention on board composition, this paper explores how female directors influence the existence of a CSR committee, and how this effect can be moderated by the independence of board members. To be able to test the aims of the study, an international sample of analysis of 4,168 firm-year observations from 2012 to 2016 was used, proposing several models for panel data. The findings revealed that female directors exert a positive influence on the existence of a CSR committee, although this commitment is limited when in addition to women, they are independent directors on the board. Therefore, it can be said that board gender diversity and board independence are not complementary mechanisms that favour the existence of a specific committee on CSR. This study is one of a limited number of studies to focus on the antecedents of existence of a CSR committee in firms. In addition, the study obtains benefit by considering the independence of board of directors as a moderating variable on the relationship female directors-sustainability. In contrast with previous studies based on the cross-sectional data from a single country, the data set of the current study includes a panel data comprising of a period between 2012 and 2016 and an international sample from 44 countries in six continents.El objetivo de este estudio es reforzar el conocimiento sobre los factores que determinan la existencia de un comité de sostenibilidad en el consejo de administración. Centrando el interés en la composición del Consejo, este trabajo explora como las mujeres consejeras influyen en la existencia de un comité de sostenibilidad; además, este estudio también analiza si este efecto puede ser moderado por la independencia de los consejeros. Con el objetivo de testar estos objetivos, se hace uso de una muestra de análisis internacional compuesta por 4.168 observaciones para el periodo 2012-2016 proponiendo diversos modelos de regresión para datos de panel. Los resultados confirman que las mujeres consejeras ejercen un efecto positivo, favoreciendo la creación de un comité de sostenibilidad, aunque este compromiso está limitado cuando además de mujeres, éstas son consejeras independientes. Por lo tanto, podemos decir que la diversidad de género y la independencia no actúan como mecanismos complementarios que favorezcan la creación de un comité de sostenibilidad. Este estudio es uno de los pocos estudios previos que se centran en analizar los antecedentes de la existencia de un comité de sostenibilidad. Además, este trabajo añade valor a la evidencia previa, considerando la independencia del consejo como un factor de moderación a tener en cuenta en la relación mujeres- sostenibilidad. A diferencia de estudios previos centrados en un único país, el conjunto de datos analizados en este estudio comprende una base de datos de panel de empresas para el periodo comprendido entre 2012 y 2016 y una muestra internacional de operando en 44 países en seis continentes
