Get PDFThe Self-Narrative Reconstruction Writing Method (SNRWM) is based on the key ideas of NarativeTherapy, Tories to create Alternative Story by describing a Dominant Story of person’s life, discovering unique outcomes, and examining Discourse. In this study, we conducted a qualitative analysis of the reports of 11 participants who took SNRWM using the M-GTA method, and proposed a model of the process of psychological transformation. “SNRWM” leads to (1) objectification of one’s own dominant story and self. (2) The question should lead to the discovery of “unique outcomes” or “awareness of Discourse” and (3) It is possible to reconstruct an “Alternative story” from “micro storys” that have been given new meanings. (4) It was confirmed tha t “Alternative story” lead to a vision for the future.departmental bulletin pape
