An Attempt to Develop a“ Quality of Nursing” Evaluation Scale Based on Patient : Satisfaction with Nursing Care
Get PDFThis study attempted to develop a scale to assess nursing quality. In Study 1, we examined scale items to measure satisfaction with nursing, evaluation of nursing behaviour, evaluation of nursing care skills, and liking of nurses. In Study II, we examined the relationship between patient and nurse attributes and nurse behaviour ratings and satisfaction. In addition, the validity of the scale was examined in relation to the nurses’ years of experience and their ability to practice and their satisfaction. As a result of Study I, three factors were extracted to evaluate nurses’ behaviour: attitude, knowledgeand empathy, and ten items were finally selected. The reliability coefficient Cronbach’s alpha for eachsubscale was above 0.90, indicating high internal consistency. It was hypothesised that nurses with more years of nursing experience and training would provide higher quality nursing care and have higher patient satisfaction, allowing validity of the scales to be examined. However, only the factor of leadership experience influenced nurses’ behavioural ratings and satisfaction.In the future, the validity of the scale should be tested using other indicatorsdepartmental bulletin pape

Get PDF組織行動マネジメント（OBM）はビジネス，産業，行政などに行動分析学の理論や方法論を適用したアプローチであり，それらにおけるさまざまな問題の解決に有効であることがこれまでに実証されている。しかし，パフォーマンス分析あるいはパフォーマンス診断とも呼ばれるパフォーマンスを維持する変数に関するアセスメントの確立が十分になされていないことが指摘されている。これに対してヒューマン・サービス分野では，インタビュー形式のパフォーマンス分析である対人援助用パフォーマンス診断チェックリスト（PDC-HS）に関する実践的研究が2010年代から少しずつ行われている。本論文では最初に，対人援助用パフォーマンス診断チェックリスト（PDC-HS）の概要と使用方法について説明する。次に，対人援助用パフォーマンス診断チェックリスト（PDC-HS）によるアセスメントを踏まえた介入の実施と評価を行っている先行研究を概観する。最後に，対人援助用パフォーマンス診断チェックリスト（PDC-HS）に関する今後の研究展開を説明する。〈論文〉departmental bulletin pape
