Paulo Freire’s Pedagogical Philosophy for Cooperative Learning
Get PDFIn its 2017 revision of the Courses of Study, Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology set forth the realization of “independent, dialogical（ interactive）, and deep learning” in order to nurture children’s ability to live. This paper focuses on“ dialogical learning” and examines the relationship between the pedagogical philosophy of Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator who advocated the importance of “dialogical learning”, and cooperative learning. As a result, similarities were found between Freire’s pedagogical philosophy and cooperative learning in terms of criticism ofthe old teaching method of teacher-led knowledge transfer, emphasis on learning through dialogue, and the equal relationship between students and teachers.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF生活科における「『自然や物を使った遊び』においては，身近な自然を利用したり，身近にある物を使ったりするなどして遊ぶ活動を通して，遊びや遊びに使う物を工夫してつくることができ，その面白さや自然の不思議さに気付くとともに，みんなと楽しみながら遊びを創り出そうとする」指導が求められている。しかし，最近では自然環境の変化により，遊びを生み出す体験が少なく，遊びを通して友達との人間関係が十分できない子ども少なくない。
低学年の子どもたちにとっては，友達と工夫しながら遊びを創り出す活動は，自然とできるようになるものではない。そこで本論文では，生活科における「自然や物を使った遊び」の指導法の問題点を指摘する。次に「自然や物を使った遊び」で育てたい資質・能力を明確にし，子どもたちが「みんなと楽しみながら遊びを創り出す活動」に改善すべき指導法を提示する。そして，その指導法を取り入れたカリキュラムを作成する。最後に「自然や物を使った遊び」に関する資質・能力を確実に身に付けることのできる生活科の指導法についての知見をまとめる。〈論文〉departmental bulletin pape
