The Impact of Applying Total Quality Management Standards on Improving the Overall Performance of the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Sudan
The main purpose of this study was the impact of applying total quality management standards on improving the overall performance of the ministry of education in the Republic of Sudan. The method of this study was descriptive-survey. The statistical population for this study was Ministry of Education employees, including managers, supervisors, and teachers in Sudan, and 126 people were selected as samples using a simple random sampling method. To measure total quality management the Pattanayak (2011) questionnaire, and to measure performance, the Mohaqqar et al., (2010) questionnaire were used. Their validity was content type, which was confirmed by experts. In order to assess the reliability of the questionnaires, Cronbach\u27s alpha coefficient test was used and and its amount was 0.82. In order to analyze the data, structural equation modeling test with Lisrel software was used. The results of the study showed that total quality management has a positive impact on the performance of education in Sudan
The Use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Technologies in Sports Psychology: Effects on Performance, Motivation and Psychological Recovery
In recent years, the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in sport psychology has great potential for enriching training processes, enhancing athletes\u27 performance, strengthening their motivation and supporting their psychological recovery processes. This review aims to examine the applications of AR and VR technologies in sport psychology and discusses the effects of these technologies on performance enhancement, motivation, mental toughness and psychological recovery. Based on the findings Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies are powerful tools that shape the future of sport psychology. The opportunities offered by these technologies to improve athletes\u27 performance, strengthen their motivation and accelerate their psychological recovery processes are quite wide. However, more extensive and systematic research is needed to better understand the effectiveness and long-term effects of these technologies. In the future, making these technologies more accessible and widespread in more sports will be an important step in the evolution of sport psychology
Percepções e Contribuições do Uso de Metodologias Ativas no Ensino Remoto de Bioquímica
The present study focused on the possibilities of including active methodologies during the remote teaching of general biochemistry at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Three active learning strategies were incorporated into general biochemistry classes: use of the Jamboard® platform, Peer Instruction and gamification. This study analyzes the effect that remote classes with active methodologies have on the motivation and learning of general biochemistry students during the covid-19 pandemic. There was an increase in students\u27 interest and motivation in relation to the discipline of biochemistry, in addition to greater engagement with the contents and interaction in synchronous classes. The gamification proposal was the one that most pleased the students. It was not possible to observe a significant increase in the learning of biochemistry contents, however the proposed activities contributed to the revision of the contents. The use of active methodologies in remote teaching proved to be a positive strategy for better acceptance and interest in the discipline of biochemistryO presente estudo focou nas possibilidades de inclusão de metodologias ativas durante o ensino remoto de bioquímica geral da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Três estratégias de aprendizagem ativa foram incorporadas às aulas de bioquímica geral: uso da plataforma Jamboard®, Peer Instruction e gamificação. Este estudo analisa o efeito que aulas remotas com metodologias ativas têm na motivação e na aprendizagem de estudantes de bioquímica geral durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Houve um crescimento no interesse e na motivação dos estudantes em relação à disciplina de bioquímica, além de maior engajamento com os conteúdos e interação nas aulas síncronas. A proposta de gamificação foi a que mais agradou aos estudantes. Não foi possível observar um aumento expressivo na aprendizagem dos conteúdos de bioquímica; entretanto, as atividades propostas contribuíram para a revisão dos conteúdos. O uso de metodologias ativas no ensino remoto mostrou-se uma estratégia positiva para uma melhor aceitação e interesse na disciplina de bioquímica
Ho Chi Minh\u27s Thought on Education of Social Security and Suggestions for Vietnam

Awareness of Professional Amputee Footballers With Physical Disabilities About Social Security and the Necessary Training in This Regard
The aim of this study is to research the awareness levels of professional amputee football players with physical disabilities on social security (health) and to evaluate the results according to their socio-demographic characteristics. The sample of the study was conducted with the participation of 123 physically disabled professional amputee football players who play sports in clubs in Turkey. Participation is voluntary. A personal information form to determine demographic characteristics and a scale developed by Amcaoğlu (2015) to measure the awareness of professional athletes about social security were used. The data obtained were analyzed through the SPSS 22.0 package program. In the evaluation of the data, "Mann-Whitney U test" and "Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance (K-W ANOVA)" tests and differences between groups and "Dunn Bonferroni" test were used. While a statistically significant difference is not seen according to the age groups, licensed football playing time and type of health institution visited when a health problem is encountered of professional amputee football players with physical disabilities (p>0.05), a statistically significant difference is seen according to educational status, duration of doing sports and social security status (p<0.05). As a result of the study, it is seen that the awareness levels of professional amputee football players with physical disabilities on social security (health) are good, at the desired level and there are not many differences between them
Arte Musical e Pedagogia Musical no Ensino Superior Artístico: Direções Instrumentais e Vocais
The article represents at attempt to comprehend systemic features of today musical art and musical pedagogy synergy in musical higher education, with special focus on instrumental and vocal directions. The notion of sense-making is considered, based on the potential of ‘hidden curriculum’ and value co-creation. It is emphasized that a skilled educator fosters a dynamic environment that supports the dyadic interaction between teacher and student. The instructor uses the interpersonal relationship as a means of identifying and customizing the steps required in a task so that they are clear, understandable, and attainable. The peculiarity of the new pedagogical concepts considered is that they simultaneously promote the professional development of the teacher as a teacher and as a musician, thereby achieving an excellent synergistic effect of the fusion of musical art and music pedagogy in higher art education.
O artigo representa uma tentativa de compreender as características sistêmicas da sinergia entre a arte musical e a pedagogia musical no ensino superior artístico, com foco especial nas direções instrumentais e vocais. A noção de construção de sentido (sense-making) é considerada com base no potencial do “currículo oculto” e na cocriação de valor. Destaca-se que um educador qualificado promove um ambiente dinâmico que favorece a interação diádica entre professor e aluno. O instrutor utiliza o relacionamento interpessoal como meio de identificar e adaptar as etapas necessárias em uma tarefa, de forma que sejam claras, compreensíveis e alcançáveis. A peculiaridade dos novos conceitos pedagógicos considerados reside no fato de que eles promovem, simultaneamente, o desenvolvimento profissional do docente como professor e como músico, alcançando assim um excelente efeito sinérgico da fusão entre arte musical e pedagogia musical no ensino superior artístico
Development of a physical assessment app on smartphones - MHealth for you®.
O isolamento social decorrente da pandemia de SARS-CoV-2 resultou em um aumento significativo do comportamento sedentário na população. Nesse cenário, o desenvolvimento de ferramentas que incentivem a prática de atividade física mostra-se essencial para apoiar tanto indivíduos quanto profissionais de saúde. Os avanços tecnológicos possibilitaram a criação de aplicativos móveis voltados ao monitoramento da saúde e do exercício físico.O presente estudo teve como objetivo descrever o processo de desenvolvimento de um aplicativo para avaliação física, destinado a auxiliar pesquisadores e profissionais de Educação Física na mensuração e no acompanhamento do treinamento físico. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva de abordagem qualitativa, conduzida em plataforma gratuita para desenvolvedores, empregando lógica de programação baseada em blocos e a linguagem JavaScript. O primeiro protótipo contemplou funcionalidades como mensuração da frequência cardíaca, cálculos antropométricos, além da integração das escalas de Borg, dispneia e do Inventário Breve de Dor. Após modificações, foi obtida uma versão com interface simplificada, culminando no segundo protótipo, que representou a versão final, desenvolvida de forma incremental, com maior eficiência e agilidade. O estudo descreve de maneira sistemática o processo de desenvolvimento e as funcionalidades do aplicativo, que se apresenta como uma ferramenta promissora para a avaliação física e o monitoramento da saúde. Ressalta-se, contudo, a necessidade de pesquisas futuras para validação do sistema, bem como aprimoramentos voltados à otimização de suas finalidades e à avaliação de seu impacto prático.Social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) led to a significant increase in sedentary behavior among the population. In this context, the development of tools to encourage physical activity is essential to support both individuals and health professionals. Technological advances have enabled the creation of mobile applications aimed at monitoring health and physical exercise. This study aimed to describe the development process of a physical assessment application, designed to assist researchers and Physical Education professionals in measuring and monitoring physical training. It is a descriptive qualitative study, conducted on a free developer platform, using block-based programming logic and the JavaScript language. The first prototype included features such as heart rate measurement, anthropometric calculations, and the integration of the Borg Scale, Dyspnea Scale, and the Brief Pain Inventory. After modifications, a simplified interface was obtained, resulting in the second prototype, which constituted the final version, developed incrementally with greater efficiency and agility. This study systematically describes the development process and functionalities of the application, which emerges as a promising tool for physical assessment and health monitoring. However, further research is needed to validate the system, optimize its functionalities, and evaluate its practical impact
Desafios do ensino médio integrado de enfermagem: uma pesquisa baseada em design sobre o ensino-aprendizagem da administração de medicamentos mediado pelas tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação
The aim of this study was to develop a Design-Based Research on drug administration in the context from a technical nursing course, using Digital Information and Communication Technologies as mediating tools. Drugs administration is a routine practice for nursing technicians and demands mastery of different types of knowledge, such complexity increases the possibility of errors, which demonstrates the importance of solid training on the subject. This is a qualitative study involving teachers and students of a technical nursing course at a federal school in Rio de Janeiro. The theoretical framework for this work is grounded in the Sociocultural theory and the integrated teaching concept. The results point to the internalization of concepts related to mathematical reasoning and text interpretation, as well as to the reduction of gaps in students\u27 training and the feeling of math phobia.O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver uma Pesquisa Baseada em Design acerca da temática administração de medicamentos no contexto de um curso técnico de enfermagem, tendo como ferramentas mediadoras as Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação. A administração de medicamentos é uma prática rotineira do técnico de enfermagem e demanda o domínio de diversos saberes, tal complexidade aumenta a possibilidade de erros, o que demonstra a importância de uma sólida formação acerca do tema. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo envolvendo professores e alunos de um curso técnico de enfermagem de uma escola da rede federal de ensino no Rio de Janeiro. Este trabalho tem o referencial teórico alicerçado na Teoria Histórico-Cultural e na concepção integrada de ensino. Os resultados apontam para a internalização de conceitos relacionados ao raciocínio matemático e à interpretação de texto, bem como para a diminuição das lacunas na formação dos alunos e do sentimento de matofobia
Síndrome de burnout e qualidade de vida dos professores: uma revisão sistemática
Burnout syndrome is a psychosocial phenomenon that develops in response to chronic occupational stress, arising from adverse physical, emotional, and psychological working conditions. Among the professional groups most vulnerable to this condition, teaching stands out, characterized by excessive workload, low remuneration, inadequate infrastructure, and overcrowded classrooms, factors that compromise educators’ well-being, quality of life, and job performance. In light of this, the aim of this study is to evaluate the association between burnout syndrome and the quality of life of Brazilian teachers through scientific literature. To achieve this, a systematic review was conducted, involving searches in the Embase, Lilacs, PubMed, Scopus, Scielo, and Web of Science databases, covering publications in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, which resulted in the inclusion of five articles that met the established eligibility criteria. The results revealed a negative association between burnout and quality of life among Brazilian teachers in all analyzed studies, indicating that higher levels of burnout are associated with poorer quality of life indicators. It was observed that work-related factors affect the quality of life of Brazilian teachers, impacting not only their health and personal well-being but also educational institutions and the overall quality of education. Therefore, these results highlight the importance and urgency of further investigations examining the relationship between burnout and quality of life among Brazilian teachers, in order to inform the development of preventive strategies and health promotion initiatives within the Brazilian educational context.A síndrome de burnout é um fenômeno psicossocial, que se desenvolve como resposta ao estresse ocupacional crônico, associado a condições de trabalho físicas, emocionais e psicológicas adversas. Entre as categorias profissionais mais vulneráveis, destaca-se a docência, caracterizada por sobrecarga laboral, baixa remuneração, infraestrutura precária e turmas superlotadas, fatores que comprometem o bem-estar, a qualidade de vida e o desempenho desses profissionais. Diante disso, o objetivo desse estudo é avaliar a associação entre a síndrome de burnout e a qualidade de vida de professores brasileiros por meio da literatura científica disponível. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática, com buscas nas bases de dados Embase, Lilacs, Pubmed, Scopus, Scielo e Web of Science, nos idiomas inglês, português e espanhol, resultando na inclusão de 5 artigos que atenderam aos critérios de elegibilidade. Os resultados encontrados demonstraram que há associação negativa entre burnout e qualidade de vida dos professores brasileiros em todos os estudos analisados, evidenciando que maiores níveis da síndrome estão relacionados a piores indicadores de qualidade de vida. Contatou-se que fatores laborais afetam a qualidade de vida dos professores brasileiros, impactando não apenas a saúde e a vida pessoal dos docentes, como também as organizações de ensino e a qualidade do ensino. Portanto, esses resultados evidenciam a importância e a necessidade de novas investigações que avaliem essa relação entre o burnout e a qualidade de vida de docentes brasileiros, a fim de subsidiar estratégias de prevenção e promoção da saúde docente no contexto educacional brasileiro
Uma revisão bibliográfica sobre Formação Continuada em Educação CTS (Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade)
This article presents the results of a bibliographical research whose objective was to map works that address STS (Science, Technology and Society) Education in the context of continuing education of Science and Biology teachers. To this end, we carried out a review of the proceedings of scientific events and journals from 2005 to 2021. We located 32 works and articles which 16 reported and analyzed diferente types of courses. Trainings in the Southeast region predominated, with more than 30 hours covering several subjects. The courses focused on discussions of teachers’ conceptions about STS and on practices, especially with the production of teaching sequences. We indicate, at the end, the need for training carried out in schools and of short duration.O presente artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa bibliográfica cujo objetivo consistiu em mapear trabalhos que abordam a Educação CTS (Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade) no contexto da formação continuada de professores de Ciências e Biologia. Para tanto, realizamos uma revisão em anais de eventos científicos e periódicos no período de 2005 a 2021. Localizamos 32 trabalhos e artigos, dos quais 16 relatavam e analisavam diferentes tipos de cursos. Predominaram formações na região sudeste, com mais de 30 horas que contemplavam várias disciplinas. Os cursos focaram em discussões das concepções dos professores sobre CTS e em práticas, sobretudo com a produção de sequências de ensino. Indicamos, ao final, a necessidade de formações realizadas em escolas e de curta duração
