PENELITIAN ARKEOLOGI BAWAH AIR DI INDONESIA TANTANGAN, PELUANG, DAN ARAH KEBIJAKAN PENELITIAN ARKEOLOGI MARITIM
In Indonesia, underwater archaeology as a part of maritime study seems to be isolated, because the study has not yet made significant contribution to the understanding of maritime life ways in the archipelago. Various archaeological data needed to reveal the history of human settlement, insular trade, maritime history, migration, and other aspects of maritime culture in the archipelago are still concealed at the bottom of the sea or rivers. On the other hand, the development of underwater archeology in Indonesia is still left far behind compared to other Southeast Asian countries, so the abundant underwater archaeological data are still unreachable. So far, the existing underwater archaeology activities carried out within this largest archipelagic country are still aimed at exploring underwater 'treasure", with very limited concern on archaeological research. On another side, it is certainly aware that a"real" underwater archaeological research require the readiness of both human resources as well as the supporting equipments. Therefore, to develop more proper underwater archaeological activities, it is necessary to establish clear and executable policies and strategy, e.g by improving the quality and quantity of resources, establishing networking, and conducting other potential activities periodically, consistently, with high discipline

PAMERAN MUSEUM SEBAGAI MEDIA KOMUNIKASI: KAJIAN BERDASARKAN PERSEPSI MODEL KAPLAN
Exhibition at the museum is one of the communications media that can be used to present level of civilization and culture of a nation based on cultural materials on display. The development and modification of a city is an unavoidable process. However, to preserve the identity of a city is a necessity; for instance, city of Indonesian struggle for freedom, and city of culture heritage. The identities of Yogya as a City of Indonesian struggle for freedom and City of Culture heritage, among others, are reflected at the Benteng Vredeburg Museum and is surrounding. PENELITIAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN SITUS PERMUKIMAN LINGKUNGAN DANAU DI JAWA TIMUR: SATU UPAYA MENJALIN KEMITRAAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN SUMBERDAYA ARKEOLOGI
Archaeologists' foresight in handling the results of their research will determine the impact that will be felt by the wider community. This is what some of our archaeologists have not thought about. Most archaeological research results end in Archaeological Research Reports or Archaeological Research News which are only limited to reading by archaeological observers, including students majoring in Archeology or history who need for academic purposes. By trying to establish partnerships and cooperation with various sectors and interests, hopefully the reach, thoughts and considerations in determining the archaeological research model will be more extensive and more grounded

TOPENG PASIR ANGIN MENEMBUS BATAS: FUNGSINYA DALAM KEHIDUPAN MANUSIA
The gold masks found at the Pasir Angin Site are still intact, because they are made of a precious metal that is hard to rust, which is resistant to physical and chemical effects that gnaw at for thousands of years and does not undergo corrosion causing damage. What if the mask was made a duplicate and then used. I totally agree, because in my opinion the conditions that support it are quite adequate. We return the copy of the mask along with other findings to its place of origin, in a small artistic building (museum building), which we use as tourism. Pasir Angin site, which is located on a hill, has a part in the tourism element, namely natural tourism. From the top of the hill, visitors can freely view the natural scenery around it. In the middle of that small hill, a small building was built as a mini museum.

PERANAN KOMUNITAS BERBUDAYA TORAJA SEBAGAI PENYANGGA KEDATUAN LUWU
In local historiography, Luwu is one of the kingdoms that has received considerable attention compared to other kingdoms. If we have to conclude some of the readings about Kedatuan Luwu, the correct sentence is that the Kingdom of Luwu is a kingdom that deserves to be reckoned with in the historiography of the archipelago, at least in the 14th century, predating the kingdom of Gowa on the west coast of South Sulawesi. Even though we have arrived at this conclusion without ever having been significantly rebutted, this does not mean that the perspective that has been used to observe Luwu has no weaknesses.
