No full textContemporary Ukrainian literature can meet most of the readers’ demands because genres that used to have a marginal status are becoming a productive component of the national speech art. Political fiction and alternative history belong to such genres. In the proposed study we will focus on the peculiarities of modeling post-apocalyptic societies — Ukrainian and Russian ones that appear on the geopolitical European map as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war of the XXI century in the novel “Wall” by A. Tsapliienko. The novel is characterized by a supra-genre nature combining features of alternative history (it is a historical prediction, not an alternative to the past), anti-utopia, utopia, espionage and detective novels. Within the text, the category of “reality” appeals not to the past or the history itself but to the present, so the “key fact” starting the bifurcation process is absent and requires artistic fiction. A. Tsapliienko introduces two key events. The war ended leading to the emergence of two post-apocalyptic societies — Ukrainian and Russian ones. The first part of the work deals with the territory of the Wild Field from Rostov to Tahanroh. Let us note that the discourse of the “Wild Field” is quite vividly represented in Russian historiography. For the Russian historian, this is the territory of steppe peoples or “predatory hordes”. In this respect, Russia is understood as a European space. In A. Tsaplienko’s novel “The Wall”, the territory of Russia becomes the toxic land of the Wild Field, and the Russians become the Horde. The second part focuses on the city behind the Wall. The author models Ukrainian Eldorado as a space of civilization (“Every day in this country was really good”). So, post-apocalyptic societies emerging after the war are endowed with the following attributes: paradise (Ukraine) and “scorched land” (Russia). It manifests the antagonistic binomial “civilization — the wild world”.У статтi проаналiзовано специфiку моделювання постапокалiптичних суспiльств — українського та росiйського, що з’являються на геополiтичнiй європейськiй мапi пiсля закiнчення сучасної росiйсько-української вiйни на Сходi. Автор робить футурологiчне припущення про перемогу України й появу Стiни, яка роз’єднає цивiлiзований (у цьому контекстi й український) свiт та азiйський (росiйський). У романi «Стiна» Україна майбутнього мислиться як Ельдорадо, водночас простiр Ростова, Таганрога чи Московiї позначений метафорою «спаленої землi»
The experience of thesis writing in terms of the methodological students\u27 digital competence development
No full textIn the context of digital technologies\u27 development, digital competence is a necessary prerequisite for everyone to learn, work, and actively participate in social life. Higher education institutions are faced with the mission of selecting and developing appropriate teaching strategies and cultivating digital competencies of students and academics, as well as using appropriate tools to improve the quality of education. The article highlights the experience of forming digital competencies among students majoring in the 122 Computer Science specialization while writing their thesis. Students developed a university automated system for choosing disciplines from the variable part of the curriculum. The practical results obtained by students during the research in accordance with the thesis tasks are represented by the following: examples of UML and ER diagrams (design stages), graph images (implementation stage), sections of the program code and test results of the created automated system (implementation and configuration stages of the software product). The formation and development of digital competencies during such thesis research is analyzed. The European model of digital competencies "The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens" (DigComp 2.1) has been selected as a conceptual standard. Attention is focused on three areas of DigComp 2.1: information and data literacy; digital content creation; problems solving in the digital environment. The activities that contribute to the formation of these competencies are outlined. It is concluded that the described strategy promotes the formation and development of digital competence at the eighth (highest) professional level in accordance with the DigComp 2.1 model for higher education students majoring in the 122 Computer Science specialization

Get PDFThe article deals with the contravention of basic principles of journalistic activity (balance and impartiality of information feed), emphasizes the need of keeping professional and ethical standards by the media representatives. There are analyzed texts discriminatory ideas that contain with verbal aggression, promote intolerance, impose confrontation, exploit an idea of “Your closest circle”. The author defends the requirement of reliability of the information, its unbiased presentation, the morality of the journalist\u27s reasoning. Emphasis is placed on the need of the media to be responsible for studying its audience, solving the problem of information hygiene. The media environment of 2020 demonstratively shows the manipulation of information. We observe the modeling of the event as a precession of this event. The formation of “journalism of screenshot” is rising nowadays, the basis for creating messages is information obtained on social networks, blogs, comments, etc. The audience for which it is intended is at the same time its creator, such a collective author is not responsible for the dissemination of false information, and its verification is very often neglected. Despite their information poverty, unverified facts, the anonymity of materials, such messages are qualified to be threatening: they trouble the public, change, distort the information picture of the world. The appearance among the news of a large number of short materials, designed for a cursory perception, contributes to the growth and acceleration of information flows, which is one of the main trends in the media sphere.У статті йдеться про порушення основних принципів журналістської діяльності (збалансованості та неупередженості подачі інформації), наголошено на потребі дотримання професійних та етичних стандартів представниками ЗМІ. Проаналізовано тексти, що містять вербальну агресію, пропагують нетерпимість, нав’язують протистояння, експлуатують ідею “кола своїх”, мають дискримінаційний характер. Представлено авторський погляд на вимогу достовірності інформації, її неупередженого подання, моральності міркувань журналіста. Закцентовано на потребі медіа відповідально ставитися до вивчення своєї аудиторії, розв’язання проблеми інформаційної гігієни
Мужская языковая личность в кинодискурсе (на материале экранизации романа М. Лермонтова “Герой нашего времени”)
Get PDFThe article presents an analysis of the verbal-semantic level of the linguistic personality of Grigory Pechorin based on the material of the film adaptation of M. Lermontov\u27s novel “A Hero of Our Time”. The lexical analysis of the main character of the film adaptation was carried out according to the three-levelled system proposed by Yu. Karaulov. At the first stage of the study, all the hero\u27s replicas were selected by the method of continuous sampling. Further, all the selected words were distributed by macroclasses (parts of speech), and within macroclasses – by semantic fields and concretizing subgroups. A quantitative analysis of the selected unique words and their word usage in the hero\u27s speech made it possible to establish that pronouns prevail over all parts of speech in terms of the number of word usage. It can be explained by the fact that the object of research is one of the varieties of discourse – hero’s speech which is surrounded by real life, and, as you know, even depicted colloquial speech usually tends to a certain degree of similarity to real colloquial speech, which determines the role of the environment within the text fragments with direct speech. Indicating words (pronouns) can be considered as such an environment since they are verbal means of explicating the elements of a modelled communicative situation. While in terms of the number of positions, verbs prevail over all parts of speech. The numerical superiority of adjectives over adverbs in terms of the number of positions and the priority of adverbs over adjectives in terms of word usage was also noted.У статті досліджено перший, вербально-семантичний, рівень моделі мовної особистості, на якому здійснено складання індивідуального лексикону. Проаналізовано кількісний склад вербально-семантичного рівня чоловічого мовної особистості на матеріалі екранізації роману М. Лермонтова “Герой нашого часу”. Установлено, що за кількістю слововживань значну перевагу мають займенники, що пов’язано з об’єктом дослідження: кінодискурс певною мірою відбиває особливості розмовного мовлення: вказівні слова являють собою вербальні засоби, які моделюють елементи комунікативних ситуацій. Акцент зроблено й на особливостях використання дієслів та прикметників
