The The Relationship between Nutritional Status and Worm Infection with the Intellectual Ability: A Case of Children Aged 6-12 Years in Jungkat Village
The prevalence of worm infection in Indonesia remains high, reaching 21.6% in 2022, with significant impacts on children, including decreased cognitive function and growth impairments. Theoretically, children who are in high-risk environments for worm infection and delayed growth have a high potential to have low intelligence. This study aimed to describe the nutritional status, worm infection, and intellectual ability of elementary school children in Jungkat Village, and to analyze the interrelationships between these factors. A cross-sectional study was conducted in four elementary schools in Jungkat Village from June to August. A total sampling approach was applied, with 626 children aged 6–12 years who met the inclusion criteria (enrolled in the schools and obtained parental consent). Data were collected via anthropometric measurements, a worm infection questionnaire, and Raven’s Progressive Matrices (RPM), and analyzed using multinomial logistic regression. More than 70% of children had a normal nutritional status, but stunting (20.78%), overweight (7.67%), and obesity (7.67%) indicated a dual burden of malnutrition. The prevalence of worm infection is notably high (29.71%), while intellectual assessments indicate that 60.86% of children fall into the below-average or defective categories. Interestingly, children in Jungkat Village appear to adapt to worm infections, as these do not seem to impair intellectual capacity. Despite having a mostly normal nutritional status, many individuals still demonstrate below-average intellectual abilities, suggesting that other determinants, beyond nutrition and infection, may play a stronger role. Further studies are recommended to explore genetic, environmental, and educational factors that may influence children’s intellectual development.

Exploration of Strategies to Overcome Dual-Triple Burden of Malnutrition in Adolescent Girls Based on Local Wisdom: A Qualitative Study
The dual-triple burden of malnutrition among adolescent girls in Indonesia is a significant issue, particularly in West Sulawesi Province. Majene Regency has the second highest prevalence of malnutrition in the country, with alarming statistics showing that adolescent girls are affected by stunting (31.5%), anemia (17.9%), Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) (22.4%), and obesity (18.9%). This study aims to explore strategies for preventing and managing malnutrition based on local wisdom and cultural practices. The methodology includes qualitative-descriptive research through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and in-depth interviews with informants from four secondary schools in Majene District. Key informants include health service heads, nutrition officers, school principals, teachers, food vendors, parents, and female students. Their insights provide a comprehensive view of the challenges and potential solutions. The findings indicate several effective strategies: (1) changing mindsets about instant foods through education; (2) promoting healthy eating and local food consumption; (3) regular distribution of iron supplements in schools; (4) encouraging physical activity; (5) innovating healthy food services in school canteens; (6) revitalizing local government programs; and (7) securing funding through School Operational Assistance and Village funds to support these initiatives. In conclusion, there are several local wisdom-based strategies that can be implemented to address malnutrition among adolescent girls. It is suggested that the results of this research can be a valuable reference for local governments, educators, and various stakeholders who are committed to improving the nutritional-health status of adolescent girls
Effectiveness of Herbal Compress Ball on Reducing Back Pain in Postpartum Women
Postpartum women tend to experience low back pain disorders due to the labor process and muscle tension, especially when breastfeeding their babies. Efforts to overcome back pain in postpartum women include the use of compresses. One of the non-pharmacological interventions employed is using herbal compress balls, which have aromatherapeutic properties and facilitate heat conduction. This intervention aims to enhance local blood circulation in pain-affected regions. The study was to determine the effectiveness of herbal compress balls in reducing back pain in postpartum women. The measuring tool for assessing the pain scale is the NRS. The method of research is an experimental “one-group pre-post test design”. 96 respondents were selected via non-probability sampling in the form of an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis using the “Wilcoxon signed rank test”. The study showed a reduction in the back pain scale of postpartum women after the use of the herbal compress ball "p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05)". The herbal compress ball has been proven effective in overcoming back pain in postpartum women. It is hoped that further research can use methods comparing herbal compress balls with other intervention methods

Evaluation of User Satisfaction of Electronic Medical Record System at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang
From 2019 to 2022, RSI Sultan Agung Semarang managed SIMRS independently. While the implementation remained hybrid, SIMRS was turned over to a third party in early 2023 to develop Electronic Medical Records (EMR). However, in 2024, a year later, the management of SIMRS and EMR was once again independent. It was necessary to assess user satisfaction with the EMR in light of these modifications. This study aims to determine the variables affecting users' satisfaction with the EMR at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang's medical record installation. Cross-sectional research was used in conjunction with quantitative research design. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling process, and 32 individuals met the inclusion criteria. The statistical test results demonstrate that all of the variable's content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness have p-values less than 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between each variable and satisfaction with the EMR. Everything about the EMR system has been going smoothly; more system development is needed to make it easier to access quickly and effectively, which will improve the timeliness of medical services. Future research should look into other variables or perform long-term studies to track changes in user satisfaction
The Analysis of Protein Content, Iron Content, and Acceptability of Crackers Substituted with Edamame (Glycine max L. Merrill) Flour and Mackerel Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) Protein Hydrolysate
Crackers are a snack often favored by toddlers. Commercially available crackers predominantly use wheat flour, which is high in carbohydrates but low in nutritional value, particularly in protein content. Therefore, innovative formulations are needed to enrich the nutrition, notably protein and iron, by substituting edamame flour and mackerel tuna protein hydrolysate into crackers to help address stunting. This study aims to analyze the protein content, iron content, and acceptability of crackers made with a substitution of edamame flour and tuna protein hydrolysate. This research was conducted at the University of Jember from February to April 2024 using a completely randomized design at four levels. Protein analysis used the Kjeldahl method, and iron content was examined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The acceptability was tested using the hedonic scale test on 30 semi-trained panelists. The results were analyzed using SPSSv24. Results showed statistically significant differences in protein content, iron content, color acceptability, aroma, and taste. The highest protein content is found in A3, while the highest iron content is found in A1. The best formulation, determined by the exponential comparison method, was treatment A2. In conclusion, substitution with edamame flour and tuna protein hydrolysate in all treatment variations significantly affected protein content, iron content, and acceptability in terms of color, aroma, and taste; however, it did not substantially impact texture or overall acceptability. Substitution of edamame flour and mackerel tuna protein hydrolysate in crackers can increase protein content and therefore could be an effective measure in preventing stunting
Adolescents' Knowledge and Attitudes Toward Reproductive Health Using Website and Booklet Media
Sexuality is considered a taboo topic by society, making it difficult to discuss openly. Parents typically provide minimal guidance, while teenagers frequently feel too embarrassed to ask questions. To overcome these barriers, a more engaging and accessible platform, such as a website dedicated to reproductive health, is necessary to help teenagers gain a better understanding of the topic. This study aims to analyze the influence of reproductive health education through website media on changes in adolescent knowledge and attitudes. This research is a quasi-experiment, a quantitative study. The research was conducted from March to November 2024. The respondents/subjects were 200 teenagers aged 15-18 years in Palangka Raya who owned a smartphone or laptop. The intervention group had an average knowledge score of 22.90, higher than the control group's score of 20.49. The Independent T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that education using the booklet was less effective in increasing knowledge compared to the website+booklet. Similarly, the intervention group's average attitude score was 127.67, higher than the control group's score of 122.08. The Independent T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that using only the booklet was less effective in improving attitudes compared to the combined website+booklet approach. Education on reproductive health delivered through a website and booklet is more effective at enhancing knowledge and attitude scores in adolescents than education provided solely through a booklet. Ensure that the digital platform is accessible to all adolescents, including those in remote areas.
