    Pengetahuan siswa SMA di kota Malang tentang peran dan pengalaman orang Tionghoa pada periode revolusi Indonesia tahun 1945-1949

    AbstractThis study aims to find out how the knowledge of students at SMA Negeri 7 Malang, SMA Taman Harapan Malang, and SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang about the role and experience of Chinese people in the Indonesian revolution and how the role of teachers in teaching the material. This study used a mixed method with the type of sequential explanatory design and data obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The result obtained from this study is that students' knowledge about the role and experience of Chinese people in the Indonesian revolution is still limited. A total of 83 students from the three schools received less knowledge levels as many as 28 students, 30 students had good knowledge levels, and 30 students had sufficient knowledge levels. The majority of students understanding of the role and experience of Chinese people in the period of the Indonesian revolution was obtained through the Internet, although this knowledge was also obtained from teachers of Indonesian history.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan siswa SMA Negeri 7 Malang, SMA Taman Harapan Malang, dan SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang tentang peran dan pengalaman orang Tionghoa dalam revolusi Indonesia dan bagaimana peran guru dalam mengajarkan materi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan jenis desain penjelasan berurutan dan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan siswa tentang peran dan pengalaman orang Tionghoa dalam revolusi Indonesia masih terbatas. Sebanyak 83 siswa dari ketiga sekolah tersebut mendapatkan tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang sebanyak 28 siswa, 30 siswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik, dan 30 siswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang memadai. Mayoritas pemahaman siswa tentang peran dan pengalaman orang Tionghoa pada periode revolusi Indonesia diperoleh melalui internet, meskipun pengetahuan ini juga diperoleh dari guru-guru sejarah Indonesia

    VISUAL AVATAR IDENTIFICATION ON ONLINE GAME PLAYERS

    There are many game system features in an online game and one of them is the avatar system. Avatar here is a system in the game, that gives player on the game an opportunity to dress up visual of their character according to what they want. Avatar has various types and forms that can be choose. This research aims to learn what kind of visual design avatar is preferred by online game players, which will provide an overview for game designers to create avatars in the game. This study uses a virtual ethnographic method that is connected with dramaturgical theory, how a person plays a role in the world of online games by using this avatar system. The results showed that avatars with style that match in real life are still more in demand than avatars with shapes that tend to be unique. Even though sometimes game players play different roles in the game world, they still tend to dress up their characters with visuals that match their style in real life in terms of avatar

    PELATIHAN PERTUNJUKAN TOPENG MALANG SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI JAWA TIMUR DI SINGAPURA

    Tarian topeng Malang tidak lagi dapat dipisahkan dari identitas tradisi masyarakat Malang yang harus dilestarikan. Pengenalan tradisi topeng Malang menjadi daya tarik promosi pariwisata kepada wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Jawa Timur. Selain bisa merasakan pengalaman unik yang berbeda dengan pengalaman wisata lainnya, kontribusi dalam pelatihan topeng Malang dapat mengerahkan wisatawan untuk menghayati keindahan gerakan dan cerita. Meski demikian, pertunjukan berhasil menyajikan tari Sekarsari, tari Grebeg Sabrang dan satu puisi yang relevan bertemakan persatuan dalam peringatan Sumpah Pemuda di Sekolah Indonesia Singapura (SIS). Hasilnya feedback awal merespon umpan balik perbaikan pengembangan lebih lanjut secara positif yang menjanjikan promosi kebudayaan bagi Jawa Timur dalam lingkup Internasional. Alhasil diharapkan, inisiasi promosi budaya semacam ini terus berdampak lebih besar pada sekitar. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat terstruktur menggunakan Service Learning Methodology. Hasil dari pengabdian ini memberikan perspektif yang menarik bagi pengembangan media pertunjukan Topeng Malang bagi masayrakat luar negeri khususnya Singapura. Adanya komposisi dan percampuran narasi dan dramaturgi pertunjukan juga memberikan kesan yang baik bagi pengembangan budaya di Indonesia. Tentu perbaikan mengenai mobilisasi alat dan bahan pertunjukan menjadi tantangan tersendiri, namun pertunjukan Topeng Malang memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi opsi pertunjukan partisipatif pengenalan budaya Indonesia

    PENGARUH PENGALAMAN MENGAJAR DAN JENIS PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN DIMENSI PENGETAHUAN GURU SMK

    Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui pemahaman guru tentang dimensi pengetahuan, (2) mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman mengajar guru terhadap pemahaman dimensi pengetahuan, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh jenis pendidikan guru terhadap pemahaman dimensi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitiannya adalah 34 guru di SMKN 1 Blitar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket untukvariabel pengalaman dan jenis pendidikan guru. Serta pedoman penilaian untuk variabel pemahaman guru pada dimensi pengetahuan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pemahaman guru SMK terhadap dimensi pengetahuan termasuk dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai terendah sebesar 66,67 nilai tertinggi sebesar 86,67 serta nilai rata-rata sebesar 75,49. (2) Tidak ditemukan pengaruhyang signifikan dari pengalaman mengajar guru terhadap pemahaman dimensi pengetahuan (3) Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari jenis pendidikan guru terhadap pemahaman dimensi pengetahuan, akan tetapi terdapat kecenderungan guru dengan jenis pendidikan S1 Kependidikan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik dibanding guru dengan jenis pendidikan S1 Non Kependidikan. Kata-kata kunci: dimensi pengetahuan, pemahaman guru, jenis pendidikan, pengalaman mengajar Abstract: The aims of this research are (1) to determine teachers’ understanding of the dimensions of knowledge, (2) to determine the influence of teachers’ teaching experience on understanding the dimensions of knowledge, and (3) to determine the influence of the type of teacher education on understanding the dimensions of knowledge. This research is included in correlational descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research sample was 34 teachers at SMKN 1 Blitar. The instrument used was a questionnaire for the variables of experience and type of teacher education. As well as assessment guidelines for teacher understanding variables in the knowledge dimension. The results of data analysis show that:(1) Vocational school teachers’ understanding of the dimensions of knowledge is included in the sufficient category with the lowest score being 66.67, the highest score being 86.67 and the average score being 75.49. (2) There was no significant influence of the teacher’s teaching experience on understanding the dimensions of knowledge (3) There was no significant influence of the type of teacher education on the understanding of the dimensions of knowledge, but there was a tendency for teachers with a bachelor’s degree in education to have a better understanding than teachers. with the type of non-educational S1 education. Keywords: dimensions of knowledge, teacher understanding, type of education, teaching experienc

    PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SOAL HOTS SESUDAH MENEMPUH DAN SESUDAH PRAKTIK MATA KULIAH PEDAGOGIK MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI S1 PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK BANGUNAN

    Abstrak:Keberadaan soal HOTS sangat penting sebagai salah satu alat mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Namun demikian sebagian guru masih ada kendala dalam membuat soal HOTS. Mahasiswa calon guru secara bertahap disiapkan untuk mampu membuat soal HOTS yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan dan peningkatan pemahaman soal HOTS mahasiswa sebelum, sesudah menempuh mata kuliah pedagogic, dan sesudah praktik lapangan mata kuliah pedagogik. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan oneway anova danuji scheffe dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman soal HOTS mahasiswa sebelum menempuh mata kuliah pedagogik sebesar 27,52 berada pada kategori kurang, sesudah menempuh mata kuliah pedagogik pemahaman mahasiswa sebesar 32,78 berada pada kategori cukup, dan sesudah menempuh praktik lapangan mata kuliah pedagogik pemahaman mahasiswa sebesar 49,52 pada kriteria baik. Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman soal HOTS mahasiswa secara signifikan setelah melaksanakan praktik lapangan mata kuliah pedagogic. Keikutsertaan kuliah teori pedagogic saja belum mampu meningkatkan pemahaman soal HOTS mahasiswa secara signifikan. Kata-kata kunci: pemahaman, soal hots, pedagogic. Abstract: The existence of HOTS questions is very important as one of the tools to achieve national education goals. However, some teachers still have obstacles in making HOTS questions. Teacher candidates are gradually prepared to be able to make good HOTS questions. This study aims to determine the stages and increase students’ understanding of HOTS before, after taking pedagogic courses, and after field practice of pedagogic courses. The analysis technique in this study is comparative descriptive with oneway anova and scheffe test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of thestudy showed that the understanding of HOTS problems of students before taking the pedagogic course was 27.52 in the poor category, after taking the pedagogic course the student understanding of 32.78 was in the sufficient category, and after taking the field practice of the pedagogical course the student understanding was 49.52 in the good criterion. There was a significant increase in students’ understanding of HOTS after carrying out field practice of pedagogic courses. Participation in pedagogic theory lectures alone has not been able to significantly improve students’ understanding of HOTS. Keywords: understanding, hots, pedagogi

    Implementation of Character Education Management in Coaching Students' Morals

    Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the concept of planning, implementing, organizing, as well as monitoring and evaluating character education management in developing students' morals at MA Subulussalam Kresek Tangerang. This research method uses qualitative methods. This type of research uses a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this research were school principals, curriculum areas, teachers of moral beliefs, as well as observations made by researchers. There are several data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and document study. There are two research instruments chosen by researchers, namely observation and interviews. In this research, observation and interview techniques were used to obtain data regarding how character education management is implemented in developing students' morals at MA Subulussalam Kresek Tangerang. This research found 1) that at MA Subulussalam Tangerang, in managing student character education management planning, it involved all elements including the school, stakeholders (district head, police chief, village head and religious leaders) and the community 2) In organizing character education management in coaching The morals carried out by MA Subulussalam Kresek Tangerang are through coordination between the school and the government and the community, in this case the parents/guardians of the students. 3) Implementation of character education management involves all elements of the school, including principals, teachers, school guards and canteen attendants, who play a role in creating conducive conditions for the development of students' character. 4) Controlling character education management takes the form of observation by creating assessment rubrics and Learning Implementation Plans.Keywords: Planning, Management, Education, Character, Moral

    The Influence of Transformational Leadership, Abilities and Motivation on Teacher Performance State Madrasah Aliyah Langkat District

    Abstract. This study attempts to ascertain the following: (1) The impact of transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (2) The impact of ability on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (3) The impact of motivation on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; and (4) The impact of ability, motivation, and transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah. This study used an ex post facto model and was quantitative in nature. The population under investigation consisted of 210 individuals, and the sample size consisted of 136 respondents who were selected using the Krejcie & Morgan formula or table. The study's findings indicate that: (1) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, transformational leadership (X1) has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.021, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that transformational leadership affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 2.317, indicating that transformational leadership has a considerable impact on teacher performance (t-statistic value > 1.96). In other words, whether leadership is transformative. The better a leader demonstrates in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, the more likely it is that teachers will perform better in fulfilling their ooko k responsibilities; At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, ability (X2) has a positive and substantial effect on teacher performance (Y) with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that ability affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 4.092, indicating that it is more than 1.96. This implies that instructors will be able to carry out their tasks in accordance with their capacities given their current set of skills, which will impact the enhancement of teacher performance; (3) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, motivation (X3) has a positive and substantial impact on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that motivation affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a result of 5.771 for the t-statistic, meaning that it is more than 1.96. This implies that a teacher's performance increases with the degree to which they use work incentive.Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Ability, Motivation and Teacher Performance

Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan berbagai bahan pustaka yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Data diperoleh dari internet seperti Google, Google Scholar dan Scopus. Terdapat tiga rekomendasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh kurator digital seperi Merekrut SDM yang berkualitas; Memahami permasalahan yang dihadapi pada proses kurasi digital; serta Melakukan upaya untuk mempertahankan arsip digital. Kegiatan tersebut hanyalah rekomendasi dari peneliti untuk membantu digital curator menjalankannya

    Menemukan apa yang dilakukan Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Sumatra Utara untuk membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah, serta faktor-faktor apa yang membantu dan faktor apa yang menghambat upaya ini, adalah tujuan utama penelitian ini. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian adalah aktivitas yang yang dilakukan pustakawan UINSU dalam mengembangkan komunikasi ilmiah yaitu membangun Repository, penerbitan Jurnal Ilmiah dan melanggan Jurnal (E-Journal). Faktor  pendukungnya adalah akreditasi dan referensi mahasiswa. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah ialah SDM dan dana anggaran.

    The Moderation Effect of Islamic Corporate Governance on Fraud Financial Statement Detection Using Fraud Hexagon

    Purpose: Given that Islamic corporate governance serves as a moderating variable, this study aims to examine the impact of the hexagon theory on fraudulent financial statements.Method: This study employed a quantitative methodology and garnered secondary data on Islamic commercial banks in Southeast Asia. Purposive sampling was carried out to collect data from 18 companies during five years (2017–2022), yielding 90 observations. The data analysis method employed Warp-PLS software version 8.0 and partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).Findings: Study results demonstrate that financial stability significantly worsens the performance of fraudulent financial statements. Related party transactions, external auditors, director changes, C.E.O. education, company existence, and political connections did not affect governance, moderate the significant positive influence of financial stability, related party transactions, company existence, and political connections on fraudulent financial statements. Meanwhile, good oversight, external auditors, director changes, and C.E.O. education did not moderate the impact of misleading financial statements.Originality/Value: This research contributites significantly to the Islamic banking management. The Islamic corporate governance mechanism forms the process and structure of the entity’s supervisory, monitoring and advisory functions. The presentation of financial statements is carried out in an accountable and transparent manner based on Sharia principles, which can reduce the practice of financial statement fraud, so stakeholders will be more confident in investing
