The research subjects included material experts, media experts, teachers, and elementary school students. Data were collected through validation questionnaires and user response questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the developed digital storytelling medium achieved a feasibility percentage of 89.4%, categorized as very feasible. The limited trial results indicated student responses of 87.8% and teacher responses of 85.6%, both categorized as very good. The medium was able to enhance student engagement in Indonesian language learning while contextually integrating environmental awareness values. Therefore, the environmental-themed digital storytelling medium is considered valid and practical for use in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools

Background: Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the main causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Psychological factors such as stress and lifestyle factors such as diet are known to play a role in increasing the risk of hypertension during pregnancy. Objective: To determine the relationship between stress levels and diet with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at Simpang IV Sipin Community Health Center, Jambi City. Method: Quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 96 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters selected using a total sampling technique. Stress levels were measured using the DASS-42 questionnaire, diet was measured using a structured questionnaire, and blood pressure was classified into Grade 1, 2, and 3 hypertension. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results: Most respondents experienced mild stress (70.8%), had a good diet (54.2%), and had Grade 1 hypertension (88.5%). Spearman's test results showed a strong and significant relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension (rs = 0.691; p < 0.001), as well as a moderate and significant relationship between diet and the incidence of hypertension (rs = 0.386; p < 0.001). Conclusion: Stress levels and diet are significantly associated with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy. Stress screening and nutrition education are needed as part of antenatal care

This research explores the aesthetic values and education values of the “Sekapor Sireh” dance as practiced at Sanggar Bougenville in West Kalimantan. As a traditional welcoming dance of the Malay community in Pontianak, the “Sekapor Sireh” dance represents symbols and meanings that reflect the cultural character of the people of West Kalimantan. More than just an aesthetic expression, the dance also carries educational values that develop both in its performance and throughout the learning process. These values play an essential role in shaping the character of the younger generation. This study applied a qualitative method with a case study design., data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving studio administrators, dance instructors, senior and junior dancers, as well as cultural figures. The findings reveal that the aesthetic dimensions of the “Sekapor Sireh” dance can be examined through this approach, content, and performance, all of which are harmoniously combined into a single artistic expression. The educational values represented in the dance such as gentleness, politeness, respect, and tolerance reflect the character of the local community and are further strengthened through the training process, which nurtures discipline, cooperation, and cultural appreciation among young learners. Overall, the “Sekapor Sireh” dance serves not only as a ceremonial art for welcoming guests but also as a significant medium for cultural transmission and character education. It contributes to preserving cultural heritage while supporting the moral and personal development of the younger generation

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) and contextual learning methods in improving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of grade XI students in the subject of Indonesian History. The subjects of the study consisted of two classes: grade XI.10 taught using the PBL method, and grade XI.4 taught using the contextual method. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group design. Data were obtained through HOTS tests before and after treatment, then the scores of each class were calculated. The results of the analysis showed that the average gain score of grade XI.4 students (contextual method) was 11.2, higher than grade XI.10 (PBL method) of 7.1. Normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.017 (<0.05) which indicated a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, it can be concluded that the contextual learning method is more effective than the PBL method in improving students' HOTS in the subject of Indonesian History. The results of this study support the application of a contextual approach to improve student abilities

The purpose of this study is to identify the extent of the use of Android technology in translating English texts. The researcher employed a case study approach in this research. A case study is one of the approaches within the qualitative research paradigm. The aim is to describe and examine the effectiveness of using Android technology in translating words from the source language into the target language, as well as the factors that motivate students to use it. Three methods were used to collect the research data, namely classroom observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research sample consisted of second-grade students of Putra Gununghalu Vocational School, totaling 100 students in the 2025–2026 academic year. The results of the study show that students rarely bring English dictionaries when attending translation classes. One of the reasons is the availability of Android technology, which is easy to use, convenient, practical, and easy to carry in a pocket. When students have difficulty finding the meaning of a word, they simply type the word on their mobile phones by accessing Google Translate. Students also trust the accuracy of the meanings obtained through mobile access. Therefore, they consistently use it whenever they encounter difficulties in finding word meanings. The translation method used by students is still word-for-word translation. This is also related to language structure. In other words, students tend to follow the structure of the source language

Based on classroom observations conducted in Grade V of SD Negeri 2 Tiakur, it was found that Indonesian language learning, particularly in listening to folklore, was not yet optimal. The comprehension of the material delivered by the teacher had not been fully absorbed by the students, resulting in a generally low level of student engagement during the learning process. This condition was influenced by the limited and suboptimal use of instructional media, which failed to stimulate students’ motivation to learn. This study employed a quantitative research design with an experimental approach. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of audio media on students’ ability to listen to folklore. The research design used was a control group pretest–posttest design involving an experimental group and a control group. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the data analysis indicated that the use of audio-based instructional media had an effect on students’ listening skills in Indonesian language learning for Grade V students at SD Negeri 2 Tiakur. This finding was supported by the results of the Paired-Samples T Test, which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.076 (> 0.05), indicating an effect of audio media on listening skills. Furthermore, the average learning outcomes of students in the experimental group increased from 54 to 80.2, while the control group, which applied conventional teaching methods, showed a smaller increase from 49.6 to 65

Introduction: The urgency of research focused on educational human resource management aims to uncover and understand the meaning of experiences of unprofessional educational human resource management that undermine the quality of learning, thereby providing a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of bilingual schools in East Kalimantan. Method: Systematic literature review with keywords relevant to the research focus. Result: By focusing on the meaning of experiences of unprofessional educational human resource management, this research makes a comprehensive contribution. Discussion: A phenomenological approach is relevant and essential because it allows researchers to explore the meaning of experiences of unprofessional educational human resource management into a dimension that cannot be captured by quantitative surveys or structural case studies. As demonstrated in the literature on teacher identity, professional identity is strongly influenced by organizational processes, recruitment, and development. This gap underscores the urgency of in-depth studies to reconstruct an understanding of how professionalism is practiced
