This study aims to determine the influence of the Independent Curriculum and teacher creativity on the competence of elementary school teachers in Sewon District. The research method used was quantitative with a descriptive-correlative approach. The population consisted of 220 public elementary school teachers, with a sample of 142 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data collection employed questionnaires on Independent Curriculum implementation, teacher creativity, and teacher competence. Instrument validity was tested using Pearson’s product-moment correlation, while reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis applied multiple linear regression. The results revealed that: (1) the Independent Curriculum significantly influenced teacher competence (t = 11.030; sig. 0.000 < 0.05); (2) teacher creativity significantly influenced teacher competence (t = 4.460; sig. 0.000 < 0.05); and (3) both the Independent Curriculum and teacher creativity simultaneously had a significant positive effect on teacher competence (F = 306.568; sig. 0.000 < 0.05), contributing 81.5%. These findings indicate that enhancing teacher competence requires consistent implementation of the Independent Curriculum along with continuous development of teacher creativity in teaching practices

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL) combined with the Gallery Walk technique in improving critical thinking skills and Social Studies (IPS) learning outcomes among students of class IXE at SMP Negeri 1 Madiun (n = 32). Using a Classroom Action Research design based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model with two cycles, the study collected data through observations using a critical thinking rubric, HOTS‑based learning outcome tests, in‑depth interviews, and documentation of student products such as posters and infographics. Quantitative results show an increase in the class mean score from 72.38 in Cycle I to 79.75 in Cycle II, while the classical mastery rate rose from 31.25% to 87.50%; statistical analysis indicated a significant difference (p < 0.001) with a large effect size. Qualitative findings corroborate the quantitative results, indicating that the Gallery Walk strengthened peer‑feedback mechanisms, encouraged product revision, and increased student participation and cognitive engagement. In conclusion, the combination of PjBL and Gallery Walk is effective in enhancing critical thinking and IPS learning outcomes, although strengthening self‑regulation and providing targeted remediation are needed to ensure that improvements are experienced more evenly across all students

This study examines the legal standing and validity of land sale-purchase agreements that are not registered with the Land Office, as well as the legal consequences for the contracting parties and third parties. In Indonesia’s legal system, land transactions operate under two distinct regimes: civil law, governed by Articles 1320 and 1338 of the Civil Code, and agrarian law, regulated by the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) and Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997. From a civil law perspective, an underhand sale-purchase agreement remains valid as long as it fulfills the requirements of consent, legal capacity, a specific object, and a lawful cause. However, such an agreement only creates an obligatoir effect and does not transfer property rights until an official Sale and Purchase Deed (AJB) is executed before a PPAT and registered with the Land Office. Consequently, buyers face legal vulnerability regarding third-party claims and lack full legal protection. In certain cases, such as the Subang District Court decision, long-term possession, proof of payment, and the absence of objection by the seller can strengthen the buyer’s position to apply for a land certificate. Nonetheless, registration remains essential to ensuring legal certainty and protecting third-party interests

Mental health is a crucial aspect of the rehabilitation process for correctional inmates, considering that the prison environment may contribute to psychological distress such as stress, anxiety, and depression. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a guidance and counseling program based on the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach in improving the mental health of inmates at Class III Rangkasbitung Correctional Facility. The research employed a CBPR approach by actively involving researchers, correctional officers, and inmates in the stages of problem identification, program planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were inmates of Class III Rangkasbitung Correctional Facility, and psychological conditions were measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) through pretest and posttest assessments. The results indicate a reduction in levels of stress, anxiety, and depression among inmates after participating in the guidance and counseling services. At the posttest stage, all respondents were classified within the normal and mild categories across the three psychological dimensions. These findings demonstrate that CBPR-based guidance and counseling services are effective in helping inmates manage psychological distress and improve mental well-being. Furthermore, the participatory nature of the CBPR approach enhances the relevance and sustainability of rehabilitation programs. Therefore, this program can serve as an alternative model for developing mental health services in correctional institutions in line with the objectives of the correctional system

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva Site media on the spatial thinking skills of high school students. The problem underlying this study is the low spatial thinking skills of students as seen from their limitations in understanding the relationship between geosphere phenomena in depth. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control design. The subjects of the study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that implemented the PBL model assisted by Canva Site media and the control class that used the PBL model assisted by PowerPoint media. The results showed that students in the experimental class had a higher average posttest score than the control class. The highest posttest score in the experimental class was 100 and the lowest score was 55, while in the control class the highest score was 94 and the lowest score was 50. The One Way ANOVA test showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two classes, indicating that the implementation of PBL assisted by Canva Site has a positive effect on students' spatial thinking skills. The conclusion of this study is that the PBL model assisted by Canva Site media is able to increase student engagement in learning and help them understand spatial concepts more effectively. The application of this model is recommended for use in other geography learning materials with the note that teachers need to prepare learning carefully so that the results obtained are optimal
