The emergence of new types and ways of transporting people in megacities (in particular, light rail, high-speed bus), formation of modern transport-interchange hubs are highlighted as the main ones. The practical example shows general principles of arrangement of the latter taking into account the peculiarities of metropolitan public transport and a type (nature) of combined trips. Get PDF[For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version)].ABSTRACT Basic diagrams and estimates of the main parameters of sea vessels and aircrafts with propulsion units in the form of generators of vortex pairs, including toroidal vortices (thermals) are proposed. It is shown that the efficiency of such propulsion units increases with the increase in their dimensions, so that in case of surface vessels propulsion units provide the buoyancy of the vehicle, the ability to locate a useful volume in the above-water part, and in case of air and submarine vessels - inside the propulsion unit. Since the vortex pair moves in the environment, without experiencing frontal resistance, vessels, manufactured according to the proposed schemes, also do not have frontal resistance. This factor gives the design a considerable advantage in the cost of power to move through water and air. Показано, что эффективность таких движителей увеличивается с увеличением их габаритов, так что в случае надводных судов движители обеспечивают плавучесть транспортного средства, возможность размещать полезный объем в надводной части, а в случае воздушных и подводных судов - внутри движителя. Поскольку вихревая пара перемещается в окружающей среде, не испытывая лобового сопротивления, выполненные по предложенным схемам суда тоже не имеют лобового сопротивления. Этот фактор дает конструкции немалые преимущества по затратам мощности на перемещение по воде и воздуху

Get PDFBuilding hardware complex diagnostics of railway track on the basis of analysis of dynamic processes in the movement of train does not have alternatives at the moment. Similar methods have long been used in the operation of aircraft and other fields of technology and mechanical engineering, biomedical field. The ability to simplify calculations of model tasks is provided by authors’ additions to the theory of basic models of «Timoshenko beam» in different situations. Inhomogeneous system of linear differential equations with partial derivatives of the second order is accurately reduced to sequence of solution of two classic mixed problems – derived equations: hyperbolic and Klein-Gordon-Fock. It is shown that the system has two scales (two basic frequencies). The effect of abnormally rapid fluctuations oscillations is explained. A semi-analytical – numerical method is offered that allows to compare effects caused by different boundary conditions.Построение аппаратного комплекса диагностики железнодорожного пути на основе анализа динамических процессов при движении поездного состава в РФ не имеет ныне альтернативы. Аналогичные методы давно используются при эксплуатации летательных аппаратов и в других областях техники и машиностроения, медико-биологической сфере. Возможность упростить расчеты (провести их быстро и недорого) модельных задач позволяют изложенные в статье дополнения к теории основных моделей «балки Тимошенко» в разных ситуациях. Неоднородная система линейных дифференциальных уравнений с частными производными второго порядка точно приводится к последовательности двух вложенных классически смешанных задач – линейного неоднородного гиперболического уравнения и неоднородного уравнения Клейн-Гордона-Фока. Показано, что система имеет два масштаба (две базовые частоты). Объяснён эффект аномально быстрой осцилляции колебаний. Предложен полуаналитический – численный метод, позволяющий сравнить эффекты, вызванные различными краевыми условиями

О влиянии образования на экономический рост
Get PDFThe article considers the influence of education on human capital development, as well as the effects of creative capacity for development of entrepreneurship and economic activity. Some modern trends in education are also considered in relationship with their impact on development of creativeness of future employees. Thus, while showing a tendency to replace the text presentation of training course and of research results with slide presentation of teaching materials, the author notes a risk that such a disaccustoming from the perception of textual information can have negative consequences for intellectual development of individuals as well as for economic growth. At the same time the high value of contests of creative works of students and Ph.D. students, held in the field of railway transport, is underlined.В статье рассмотрено влияние образования на развитие человеческого капитала, включая способность к предпринимательству, экономической деятельности. Отмечена тенденция к заменетекстового изложения учебного курса слайдовым представлением обучающих материалов и даже результатов научных исследований. Показано, что подобное отучение от восприятия текстовой информации может иметь негативные последствия как для интеллектуального развития индивидов, так и для экономического роста. Обращено внимание на высокое значение проводимых в сфере железнодорожного транспорта конкурсов творческих работ студентов и аспирантов
