Childcare Policy Issues in A Declining Population Society
This paper discusses the challenges and prospects of a society with a declining population and examines the signifi cance and challenges of a childcare policy in such a society. The important points of the childcare policy can be summarized as follows: (1) securing female labor force to support the social security system, (2) economic activities that value “time consumption” for a society in which economic growth is not the goal, and (3) workplaces for women in rural areas to amend regional disparities in demographics.departmental bulletin pape

Support for Children with Severe Food Allergy at School age, as Practiced by Pediatric Allergy Educator Nurses in Individual and Group Patient Education
This study aimed to clarify the support provided by pediatric allergy educator (PAE) nurses to school-age children with severe food allergies (FA) in individual and group patient education. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 PAE-qualified nurses; data were analyzed qualitatively and descriptively.
For individual patient education, the following were extracted: [skill up for independence], [participation in FA medical treatment], [dietary education], [support to get understanding from friends], and [support to catch FA positively].
As to the content of the group patient education, the program aimed for [acquisition of knowledge on FA], [improvement of FA correspondence], [expansion of food experience], [expansion of life experience], [exchange between children with FA], and [initiative participation in medical care].
