REPRESENTASI BUDAYA JAWA DALAM FILM HATI SUHITA (Analisis Semiotika John Fiske dan Thomas Wiyasa Bratawijaya)
The communication process cannot be separated from human life. Communication has a specific purpose. According to Berelson and Steiner, communication is a quality process. What is conveyed in the communication process can be informational messages, ideas, emotions, and so on. Meanwhile, what is conveyed by signs, signs can be images, words, numbers, and so on. One of the complex media in information symbols is film. The aim of this research is to find out, explain and analyze Javanese culture in the film Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis using the semiotic approach of John Fiske and Thomas Wiyasa Bratawijaya. This is a type of qualitative descriptive research which is analyzed using John Fiske's semiotic analysis and using the characteristics of Thomas Wiyasa Bratawijaya's Javanese culture to find a picture of Javanese culture in the film Hati Suhita. As a result, Javanese culture is defined as a culture that believes in God, respects each other, cares for each other, teaches us to be careful in speaking, advise, consider when making decisions and forgive each other. The television code that is often found and produces a picture of Javanese culture is the level of reality. Where at this level it helps researchers to see how the appearance, costumes, dialogue and behavior are presented in the film. When pointing the camera and lighting it is directed and visible clearly

Loss And Gain In The Translation Process Of Bilingual Online News
This study examines the translation of bilingual online news headlines about Ed Sheeran's concert tour, focusing on the concepts of "loss" and "gain" in the translation process. Through qualitative content analysis, it explores how translators navigate cultural challenges while ensuring the message is clear and relatable for the target audience. The findings reveal that certain details, such as Ed Sheeran’s name and the term "sekaliber," are often omitted, leading to a loss of emphasis and contextual richness. However, translators often introduce new elements, such as personal references, to enhance emotional engagement and relevance. The research highlights that translation is an adaptive process, where adjustments are made to preserve the core message’s impact and resonate with readers. Ultimately, effective translation requires more than a word-for-word conversion; it necessitates a nuanced understanding of both source and target cultures to maintain the essence of the original message despite inevitable shifts in meaning
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELIGIOSITY AND SELF EFFICACY WITH ANXIETY IN FACING THESIS EXAMS IN FINAL SEMESTER STUDENTS OF ISLAMIC GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING STUDY PROGRAM, KH MUKHTAR SYAFAAT UNIVERSITY

The aim of this research is to find out how religiosity is related to anxiety about facing the thesis exam. To be able to find out how religiosity and self-efficacy are related to anxiety facing the thesis exam. This research uses quantitative research methods. Quantitative research emphasizes analysis of numerical data processed using statistical methods. The method used in this research is the correlational method. Data was collected through questionnaire techniques, with different data collection strategies for two groups of respondents: using Google Forms for respondents who were not in the boarding school and offline questionnaires for respondents who were in the boarding school. The results obtained in this research are the correlation coefficient value of 0.478 contained in the table, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and anxiety. This means that if a person's level of religiosity increases, it is likely that their level of anxiety will also increase, and vice versa. The positive correlation coefficient value of 0.679 concludes that there is a strong positive relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety. This means that if a person's level of self-efficacy increases, it is likely that their level of anxiety will also increase, and vice versa. The correlation coefficient value between X1 (religiosity) and X2 (self efficacy) with Y (anxiety) is 0.695. This value is positive, which indicates that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and self-efficacy on anxiety levels. This means that if the religiosity value increases, anxiety also tends to increase, as does self-efficacy. Overall, religiosity, self-efficacy, and anxiety have a unidirectional relationship. The correlation coefficient value of 0.695 is included in the strong category according to the r value interpretation table, which is between 0.600 to 0.799
RANCANG BANGUN ALAT MONITORING SUHU DAN POLUSI KARBON MONOKSIDA (CO) DI WILAYAH TEMBALANG BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
Increased urban mobility and activity can generate increased gaseous and particulate emissions, which can have an impact on air quality and public health. Therefore, it is important to understand environmental conditions in depth and develop innovative solutions to monitor and address environmental affects in Semarang City. During the research, the researchers observed the vehicle traffic being both busy and quiet. From the research data, the average value of temperature, humidity and CO gas levels at peak times were 31.4, 83.14% and 9.7 ppm, respectively. While in quiet traffic condition, the average values of temperature, humidity and CO gas levels are 29.8, 84.07% and 1.67 ppm, respectively. In addition, this research also successfully displays data online through the Thingspeak online platform which can be accessible to the public from anywhere through the website
MODIFIKASI SERAT ALAM DAN KARAKTERISASINYA SEBAGAI PENGUAT MATERIAL KOMPOSIT
Environmental concerns have influenced a number of researchers to develop nature-based composite materials. These composite materials are composed of fibers and matrix, which are partially or completely derived from nature. Natural fibers are widely applied to reduce the utilization of synthetic fibers. However, natural fibers have hydrophilic properties that make it difficult to interact with the matrix, which tends to be hydrophobic. This condition results in the weak mechanical strength of natural fiber-reinforced composite materials. It is necessary to modify the surface of natural fibers, so that the interaction between natural fibers and the matrix can be improved, so that the resulting mechanical strength also increases. A number of analyses on natural fiber surface modification are discussed in this article to discuss the effect of each natural fiber surface modification method, as well as its characteristics when applied as reinforcement in composite materials. The analysis in this article includes several modification methods such as: alkalization, silane, and acetylation, as well as composite mechanical characteristics such as: tensile strength and elastic modulus. The analysis process is carried out by collecting several reference sources from books, and scientific articles accredited by national or international journals. Among the three methods analyzed, alkalization is the most widely applied method for natural fiber surface modification
HOLISTIC SOLUTIONS FOR CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION: BUILDING SUSTAINABLE DIVERSITY
This research aims to identify and develop holistic solutions in conflict management in the context of Islamic education, with a focus on efforts to build sustainable diversity. Conflicts in Islamic educational institutions often arise due to differences in views, culture and various religious practices. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach, this research explores the dynamics of conflict in several Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with educators, students, education practitioners and managers and other stakeholders, as well as participant observation and analysis of institutional documents. The research results reveal that conflict in the Islamic education environment can be minimized through a holistic approach that takes into account various aspects: social, cultural, psychological and structural. An integrative approach that involves all stakeholders in the conflict resolution process has proven effective in creating better understanding and tolerance. Research also finds that conflict management training programs for educators, which include mediation techniques and intercultural dialogue facilitation, are helpful in creating a harmonious learning environment. Institutional policies that support intercultural dialogue and development of diversity-sensitive curricula are also recommended to ensure the sustainability of diversity in Islamic educational institutions. Thus, this research suggests that a holistic solution in Islamic education conflict management must include an integrative, participatory and contextual approach. This not only reduces the intensity of conflict but also strengthens internal diversity, creating a more inclusive, tolerant and harmonious educational environment. This research makes an important contribution to the development of educational policies that support diversity and offers a practical framework for conflict management in Islamic educational institutions.
