    IDEOLOGI GENDER DALAM NOVEL TUHAN IZINKAN AKU MENJADI PELACUR: KAJIAN STILISTIKA FEMINIS SARA MILLS

    This study aims to uncover forms of gender subordination ideology and female stereotypes through a Feminist Stylistics analysis in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! (TIAMP) by Dahlan. Patriarchal social constructions are often reflected in everyday life and prevalent in society; in literary works, this can be explored through the language used to represent women. The focus of this study is on how language represents women throughout the novel's text, as well as the positive or negative values that emerge from it. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with Sara Mills' Feminist Stylistics approach, through data collection techniques involving library research, reading, and note-taking. The data analyzed consist of words, phrases/sentences, and discourses found in the novel's text. The research findings at the word level include gender ideology categories of Naming and Androcentrism, and the Female Experience category: Euphemism and Taboo. Next, at the phrase/sentence level, gender ideology categories of Presupposition and Inference, and Metaphor and Simile were found. Finally, at the discourse level, forms of gender ideology in the categories of Character and Role, and Fragmentation were identified.The study also uncovers the intriguing finding that language participates in perpetuating stereotypes that harm women

    School Mapping, Spatial Distribution and Enrolment Patterns in Public Junior Secondary Schools in Kwara State, Nigeria

    Equitable access to junior secondary education depends not only on enrolment expansion but also on the spatial distribution of schools and the adequacy of physical infrastructure. In Kwara State, Nigeria, concerns persist regarding uneven school location, disparities in facilities, and fluctuating enrolment patterns. Despite the relevance of school mapping as a planning tool, limited empirical studies have integrated geospatial distribution, infrastructural assessment, and longitudinal enrolment data within a single analytical framework. This study examined school mapping, spatial distribution, physical resource allocation, and enrolment patterns in public junior secondary schools in Kwara State. A descriptive survey design was adopted, complemented with geospatial and descriptive statistical analyses. The population comprised 230 public junior secondary schools and 35,929 JSS 3 students. Spatial coordinates were collected using GPS and analysed with ArcGIS, including Average Nearest Neighbour Analysis to determine distribution patterns. Facility data were obtained through structured checklists, while enrolment data covering the 2013/2014–2019/2020 academic sessions were sourced from official records. The findings revealed clustered school distribution in major urban LGAs and more dispersed patterns in rural areas. Urban centres recorded higher enrolment but also showed signs of infrastructural strain, including classrooms requiring repairs and insufficient seating. Enrolment increased steadily until 2017/2018 before declining toward 2019/2020. The study concludes that spatial concentration does not necessarily ensure infrastructural adequacy and that integrated geospatial planning is essential for equitable and efficient resource allocation. By combining spatial, infrastructural, and longitudinal enrolment data, the research contributes context-specific evidence to strengthen educational planning in Kwara State

    Paradigma Baru Hukum Pidana melalui Keadilan Restoratif: Tinjauan Konseptual, Praktik, dan Relevansinya di Indonesia

    This study examines the emerging paradigm of criminal law through restorative justice (RJ) in Indonesia, highlighting its conceptual foundations, practical applications, and local relevance. Unlike traditional punitive or rehabilitative models, RJ emphasizes the restoration of social and moral relationships by requiring offenders to acknowledge wrongdoing, repair harm, and engage in dialogue with victims and communities. The research employs a qualitative approach, including field observations, interviews with mediators, offenders, victims, and community representatives, as well as document analysis of relevant laws and regulations. Findings indicate that restorative practices such as victim-offender mediation, community conferencing, and family group conferencing effectively reduce recidivism, increase victim satisfaction, and strengthen community cohesion. The study also identifies contextual challenges in Indonesia, including limited institutional capacity, inconsistent legal interpretation, and insufficient community and victim involvement. Theoretical implications affirm RJ as a relational and transformative model, not merely an alternative punitive measure. Practically, the findings support broader adoption of dialogical restorative processes, institutional support, and integration into rehabilitation programs to ensure sustainable social reintegration. This research contributes to understanding how global restorative justice principles can be culturally adapted in Indonesia, offering guidance for policy, judicial practice, and community-based interventions

    Digital media often comes to mind in today's modern-day educators, so changes are needed in the learning process in order to attract the sympathy of students and increase the enthusiasm for learning in difficult subjects, especially Arabic. Madrasah students still find it difficult to understand and understand foreign languages, especially Arabic, so many students ignore this, for problems that often arise, the author provides ideas related to social media such as audio visuals that are suitable for students in madrasas with the aim that students take part in carrying out a more flexible learning process and expect more optimal results. The researcher conducted a research at Madrasah ibtidaiyah miftahussa'adah Tangerang City on September 15, 2025 in grade 4 with an approach method that uses quantitative by involving a control class and an experimental class so as to obtain a population of 80 students and a sample of 26 students who were given interviews, observations, pretests and posttests then obtained results of 3,578 < 4,121 which stated that the hypothesis was accepted while explaining that digital media can affect students in Arabic language lessons so that it can be concluded that involving digital media in Arabic language learning can significantly affect students.Media digital kerap kali terlintas di benak pada pendidik zaman modern saat ini, sehingga diperlukannya perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran agar dapat menarik simpati para peserta didik dan meningkatkan semangat belajar pada mata pelajaran yang sulit khususnya bahasa arab. Peserta didik madrasah masih sulit memahami dan mengerti bahasa asing khususnya bahasa arab sehingga banyak siswa yang mengabaikan hal tersebut, untuk masalah yang sering kali muncul memberikan penulis ide terkait media sosial seperti audio visual yang cocok untuk peserta didik di madrasah dengan bertujuan agar peserta didik ikut andil dalam melakukam proses pembelajran yang lebih fleksibel dan mengharapkan hasil yang lebih optimal. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di madrasah ibtidaiyah miftahussa’adah kota tangerang pada 15 September 2025 di kelas 4 dengan metode pendekatan yang menggunakan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sehingga memperoleh populasi 80 siswa dan sampel 26 siswa yang diberikan wawancara, observasi, pretest dan posttest kemudian memperoleh hasil 3.578 < 4.121 yang menyatakan hipotesis diterima sedangkan hal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa dengan media digital dapat mempengaruhi peserta didik pada pelajaran bahasa arab sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan melibatkan media digital di dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab dapat mempengaruhi peserta didik yang signifika

    Student Management in Early Childhood Education : A Case Study of Hevea Kindergarten

    Management of student is a systematic process of organizing all activities related to students and other resources to achieve educational objectives effectively and efficiently. This article aims to describe the student management process at Havea Kindergarten, encompassing the stages of planning, student recruitment, learning implementation, evaluation, and graduation. This qualitative research was conducted through direct observation, interviews with educators, and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that Havea Kindergarten has applied sound management principles, such as age-based student grouping, diverse evaluation methods (observation, interviews, and portfolios), and a structured record-keeping system using parent and alumni books. However, the integration of technology in the planning stage remains limited. This study confirms that integrated and effective management creates a supportive learning environment that optimizes student potential development

    Modern Islamic economics is often criticized for being too reactive, technical, and lacking an original philosophical foundation. This study aims to fill this gap by exploring the philosophical roots of Islamic economics through the thoughts of two classical figures, namely Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun. This study is a descriptive qualitative research type using the library research method and the philosophy of the history of thought approach, which analyzes the main works of these two thinkers, namely I?y?’ ‘Ul?m al-D?n (Al-Ghazali) and Al-Muqaddimah (Ibn Khaldun). The results of the study show that Al-Ghazali developed a teleological-normative economic philosophy that emphasizes economic activity as a means to achieve purification of the soul (tazkiyat al-nafs) and happiness in the afterlife. Key concepts include: economics as a means (was?lah), ma?la?ah as a regulative principle, and strict ethics in production, exchange, and consumption. Meanwhile, Ibn Khaldun developed an empirical-sociological economic philosophy based on historical observation, focusing on the dynamics of civilization (‘umr?n), the theory of dynastic cycles, the value of labor, and the role of the state in economic development. This article concludes that a reactualization of this classical thinking can enrich the philosophical foundation of modern Islamic economics, making it more robust and contextual

    Penerapan Metode Al-Miftah Dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Kaidah Nahwu di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mambaus Sholihin Gresik

    The implementation of the Al-Miftah Method in Nahwu learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mambaus Sholihin Gresik aims to improve students' understanding of Nahwu rules functionally, addressing the weaknesses of traditional methods that focus more on memorization. This study employs a case study design with a qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Al-Miftah Method can enhance students' understanding in a gradual and contextual manner by relating Nahwu theory directly to real sentence examples. The inductive approach applied in this method successfully integrates theory and practice, strengthening students' functional understanding of Nahwu rules. An increase in active participation and learning motivation was also observed, which contributed to the improvement of students' Arabic language skills. These findings indicate that the Al-Miftah Method is an innovative solution to improve the effectiveness of Nahwu learning at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level, which can be applied in pesantren and similar educational institutions to strengthen the functional and meaningful understanding of Arabic

    Analisis Kritis Terhadap Teknik-Teknik Penerjemahan dalam Alih Bahasa Arab–Indonesia

    This study aims to examine the translation techniques commonly employed in translating Arabic texts into Indonesian. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with a library research approach, this research draws data from various literature sources, including academic books and peer-reviewed journals that discuss Arabic–Indonesian translation practices. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to classify and interpret the types of translation methods identified. The findings reveal that M. Faisol Fatawi identifies seven translation techniques, Muhammad Apridho outlines eighteen, and Thalhah notes sixteen techniques. Among these, several techniques frequently appear across different works, particularly borrowing, calque, adaptation, and literal translation. These techniques are widely adopted by translators due to their applicability and consistency in preserving meaning and linguistic structure between source and target texts.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teknik-teknik yang umum digunakan dalam penerjemahan teks berbahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Data diperoleh dari literatur berupa buku akademik dan jurnal ilmiah yang membahas praktik penerjemahan Arab–Indonesia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan mengklasifikasikan serta menafsirkan jenis-jenis teknik penerjemahan yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa M. Faisol Fatawi mengidentifikasi tujuh teknik penerjemahan, Muhammad Apridho mencatat delapan belas teknik, dan Thalhah menyebutkan enam belas teknik. Dari temuan tersebut, beberapa teknik seperti borrowing, calque, adaptasi, dan terjemahan harfiah menjadi yang paling sering digunakan karena mampu menjaga makna dan struktur bahasa dari teks sumber ke teks sasaran

    This study aims to reveal the personalities of the characters in the short story Ruang Negatif by M. Z. Billal by examining how the id, ego, and superego interact to shape the actions and inner conflicts of Jamil and Ibu. Indonesian literary works, including short stories, often address psychological themes, such as trauma, loss, and parent-child relationships, as a means of emotional reflection. The focus of the study is limited to the short story text and two central characters without reviewing broader social aspects. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a Sigmund Freudian literary psychology approach through the process of collecting and grouping quotations related to personality structure. The analyzed data are in the form of text fragments describing the characters' behavior, feelings, and thoughts, which are then interpreted using Freud's psychodynamic framework. The research findings indicate that Jamil is able to balance the functions of the id, ego, and superego, while Ibu tends to be dominated by the superego but is still influenced by trauma from loss, which gives rise to id impulses in the form of fear. The study also found interesting things in the use of symbols in routines, such as tidying up, which reflects efforts to organize life, as well as the use of a mixed plot and an I-point of view that deepens the psychological depiction of the characters

    Implementasi Strategi Diferensiasi dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab pada Kurikulum Integratif di SMP Islam Madinatul Ilmi Legoso

    This study aims to analyze the differentiated instructional strategies in Arabic language learning based on the curriculum implemented at Madinatul Ilmi Islamic Junior High School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers apply differentiated strategies in three main aspects: content, process, and product. Instructional materials are adjusted according to students’ initial abilities through tiered textbooks, ranging from Kitabati to Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk. The learning process is designed to be flexible, employing affective and gradual approaches, while assessments are conducted formatively through tiered tasks that reflect individual student progress. Furthermore, instruction is contextualized with daily Islamic practices, such as prayer and worship, to strengthen students' understanding of religious meaning in language use. These findings offer an adaptive Arabic language learning model that responds to student heterogeneity and integrates Islamic values in an applicable way, contributing a novel perspective to the development of faith-based differentiated instruction strategies in Islamic schoolsPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi diferensiasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab berbasis kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMP Islam Madinatul Ilmi Legoso. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi diferensiasi pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu konten, proses, dan produk pembelajaran. Materi disesuaikan dengan kemampuan awal siswa melalui kitab bertingkat seperti Kitabati hingga Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk. Proses belajar dirancang fleksibel dengan pendekatan afektif dan bertahap, sedangkan penilaian dilakukan secara formatif melalui tugas bertingkat yang menyesuaikan perkembangan siswa. Pembelajaran juga dikontekstualisasikan dengan praktik keislaman harian seperti doa dan ibadah, untuk memperkuat pemahaman makna keagamaan dalam penggunaan bahasa. Temuan ini menawarkan model pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang adaptif terhadap heterogenitas siswa dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman secara aplikatif, sehingga memberikan kontribusi baru dalam pengembangan strategi diferensiasi berbasis konteks keagamaan di sekolah Islam
