PAI TEACHERS' STRATEGIES IN IMPLEMENTING THE 7 HABITS OF GREAT CHILDREN IN THE LEARNING ACTIVITIES OF GRADE V STUDENTS AT SDN BESUK KIDUL, BESUK DISTRICT

    No full text
This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in implementing the 7 Habits of Great Children and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation among fifth-grade students at SDN Besuk Kidul. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the 7 Habits is carried out through four main strategies: teacher role-modelling, positive reinforcement, integration of habit values into PAI learning, and collaboration between teachers and parents. These strategies were proven effective in fostering students’ religious character, discipline, responsibility, and positive social behavior. The success of the program is supported by the teacher’s commitment, strong emotional bonds between teachers and students, parental involvement, and monitoring through the 7 Habits Student Book. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time for habit development at school and inconsistency of parental assistance at home. Overall, this study confirms that habituation and role-modelling–based Islamic education practices can serve as an effective model for internalizing Islamic character values in elementary school students

DINAMIKA ETIKA DALAM PENERAPAN REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT PADA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

    No full text

    No full text
Learning English for EFL students requires more than just vocabulary and grammar; it also needs confidence and fluency. This study explores how students view TED Talks as a tool to help improve their speaking skills. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data gathered from university students through semi-structured interviews. The results show that TED Talks help them improve pronunciation, fluency, and speaking confidence. They also learn from authentic English input, noticing how speakers use intonation, gestures, and organize their ideas in presentations. Students reported feeling more motivated to practice speaking because they could see real examples of effective communication. They also appreciated being able to manage their own learning by choosing talks and strategies that suited them. However, they faced some challenges, such as fast speech, unfamiliar vocabulary, and varied accents. To handle these difficulties, they used strategies like replaying videos, using subtitles, taking notes, and practicing independently. Overall, the study concludes that TED Talks can be an effective supplementary resource for speaking practice when combined with supportive activities and guidance from teachers to help learners maximize the benefits. BEHIND THE SCENES: RETHINKING STUDENT TRACKING FOR HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

    No full text
This study aims to critically examine student tracking practices in educational institutions and review their relevance to holistic student development. The focus of the study is on how tracking systems that differentiate students based on academic ability can impact their cognitive, affective, and social development. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach in a high school that implemented a tracking system for both advanced and regular classes. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of school documents. The results indicate that student tracking has two sides: on the one hand, it improves teaching effectiveness for high-ability students, but on the other hand, it has the potential to create social disparities and decrease motivation for students in regular classes. These findings emphasize the importance of transforming the educational paradigm toward a more humanistic and collaborative approach, where each student is viewed as a unique individual with diverse potential. This study's contribution lies in its effort to offer a holistic development-based tracking model that balances academic, emotional, and social aspects, thus serving as a reference for educational institutions in designing more inclusive and equitable policies.     &nbsp

    No full text
Based on the results of the research entitled "From Authority to Authenticity: Paradigm Shifts in School Leadership Towards Authentic Leadership in the Gen Z Era", it can be concluded that there has been a profound transformation in school leadership practices from authoritative patterns to authentic leadership that is more humanistic, reflective, and adaptive to the characteristics of the digital generation. Effective leadership in the Gen Z era is no longer determined by formal positions, but by the ability of school principals to build relational relationships based on trust, empathy, and moral consistency. The authenticity of the principal has proven to be a major factor that increases  the engagement of young teachers through honesty, openness, and participation in decision-making. In addition, the transformation of leadership communication to a humanized digital format strengthens emotional closeness and increases the loyalty of school residents. The use of digital media such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube makes interactions more warm, responsive, and inclusive. Thus, authentic leadership in the Gen Z era plays an important role in creating a school culture that is collaborative, adaptive, and oriented towards human values, thus becoming a relevant and sustainable leadership model for the modern world of education. &nbsp

This research aims to analyze punctuation errors in students' academic papers with the help of artificial intelligence, using ChatGPT as an evaluation tool. The scope of this research focuses on the identification and classification of punctuation errors, such as the use of commas, periods, and capital letters, which are often found in students' academic papers. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a content analysis method, in which data in the form of texts of student papers are analyzed using the automatic correction model of ChatGPT. The analysis is carried out by comparing the ChatGPT correction results with writing rules based on the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) The research data model consists of samples of student papers covering various disciplines, with variations in sentence structure complexity to ensure diversity of findings. The results show that the most dominant punctuation errors are the improper use of commas in compound sentences and lists, as well as the improper use of capital letters in proper names and certain terms. An interesting fact found was that ChatGPT was able to provide fast and accurate corrections in most cases, but had limitations in understanding the context of ambiguous or creative sentences. This research confirms that artificial intelligence can be an effective tool in improving students' writing skills while supporting the writing process
