    A letter typed on stationery from the Office of the Registrar of the Tuskegee Institute, Alabama. The letter was sent from Alvin J. Neely to Mr. Charles H. Gibson and is dated June 5, 1935. The letter expresses personal appreciation from Neely to Gibson during Dr. Moton's illness.OFFICE OFTHE REGISTRAR TUSKEGEE INSTITUTE. ALABAMA -  K Mr. Charles H. Gibson Tuskegee Institute, Ala. June 5, 1935. My dear Mr. Gibson: I am just dropping this line to express my personal appreoiation for the fine service which you rendered Tuskegee as Acting President. I do not send this word as an employee of Tuskegee, but as a graduate who is naturally Interested in seeing that things go well. I want you to know it was a source of great satisfaction to have been able to cooperate with you in your efforts to keep things going during Dr. Moton’s illness. Your fine spirit made this cooperation very easy, and I hope that my little efforts made your burdens lighter. It is my hope that you shall have a chance to get some real rest and pleasure now that you have been at least temporarily relieved of so much responsibility
