Inventarisasi dan Klasifikasi Bahaya Erosi dengan Sistem Informasi Geografi di Daerah Hulu Waduk Sempor – Gombong
Title : Inventorying and Erosion Hazard Clasification by Geographic Information System in Sempor- Gombong Reservoir Upstream Area. Sempor reservoir is located about 5 km northside of Gombong – Kebumen Regency, has decreased of water reservoir volume about 45% in 2002. The aim of this research has established erosion hazard classification in Sempor reservoir upstream area. This research conducted on April until October 2007. The method used explorative descriptive that was began with interpretating of Landsat 7 ETM+ image satellite and continue with field survey. The erosion prediction calculating used Universal Soil Loss Erosion Equation (USLE) based on land unit.The result shows erosion hazard level has dominated by very heavy level with 2,413.84 ha (55.70 %). The erosion hazard index has been dominated by very high class (2,129.45 ha or 49.14 %). High erosion is caused slope factor, especially on land whose very heavy Erosion Hazard Level and high until very high Erosion hazard index. This research give 8 recommendations about soil conservation technical based on soil deep, erosion prediction amount and erosion hazard level
Kajian Pemberian Macam Bahan Organik terhadap Aktivitas Pengikatan Al, Fe dan Serapan P Jagung Manis (Zea mays saccharata Strurt) Pada Andisol Tawangmangu
Tittle : Study The Kinds of Organic Matter On Activity Of Al, Fe and P Uptake by Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) In Andisol Tawangmangu. This research aimed to find out the effect of organic matters on activity of Al, Fe and the P uptake by sweet corn in Andisol Tawangmangu . This research was conducted on July until Desember 2005 in Green House. Soil chemistry analysies was conducted at Chemistry and Soil Fertility laboratory in Agricultural Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The research used factorial design experiment with completely randomized design with two factors. First factor was kind of organic matters (B), which contains of 4 kinds there were Bo (no organic matter), B1 (cattle manure, 14.25 ton Ha-1 or 71.25 g/polibag), B2 (Gliricidia sepium, 10 ton Ha-1 or 50 g/polibag), B3( rice strow, 12 ton Ha-1 or 60 gr/polibag). The second factor was plant periode ( I ) devided at 6 level there are Io (0 days), I1 ( 10 days), I2 ( 20 days), I3 ( 40 days), I4 (60 days), I5 (90 days). Data analyzed used Variance Analysis, to know the influence of treatment and continued by DMRT to comparing inter treatment. And to find the relation between among treatment data analyzed by correlation test. The result of research showed that organic matters significant to reduce activity of Al, Fe and increase P uptake by sweet corn. Treatment with Gliricidia sepium reduce Al-oksalat and Fe-oksalat higher than cattle manure and rice strow that are 31.07 % and 36.53 % to control. Decrease of Al and Fe could increase P uptake of sweet corn 0.82 g plant-1
Status Unsur Hara Ca,Mg, dan S sebagai Dasar Pemupukan Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) di Kecamatan Punung Kabupaten Pacitan
Title : Nutrient Status Ca, Mg, and S as The Basic Fertilizing of The Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in Punung, Pacitan. The research was done in May until October 2008. The aims of this research were to know the status of soil N, P, K and determine the fertilizing and the soil management strategy for peanut in Punung, Pacitan. This research used fenomenological qualitative descriptive method that supported by laboratory analysis and cuisioner about agriculture activity by the farmers at Punung. The research soil variables are pH, organic-C, N total, P available, K available, CEC, base saturation, and soil tekstur. The result of this research shows that the globally available Ca soil status in Punung is medium (6,08-7,87me%), avalaible Mg soil provided status globally is high(4,05-5,25me%) , and S soil provided status globally is also very low. S nutrient must be added Land Map Unit (LMU) 2, 5, 9, 14, 15 to reach yield 2 ton/ha and 2,5 ton/ha of groundnut. Soil management strategy is done by adding S fertilizer adjusted with the plant need by drowning it into the soil nearby the root area with two times fertilizing, ZA fertilizer addition to keep S supply, the addition organic matter, the use of mulsa, plant rotation and soil management adjusted tho the slope condition
Optimasi Bahan Organik untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Bawang Merah yang Dipupuk Biosulfo
Tittle : Optimization of Biosulfo Formula Fertilizer Dose and Organic Matter for P uptake, and S and Yield of Red Onion (Alium ascolonicum L.) at Acid Soil, Neutral and Alkalis. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect and optimum dosage biosulfo fertilizer and organic matter on the results of red onion on the acid soils, neutral and alkaline. This research was conducted at Field Experiment station of the Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta at Jumantono, Karanganyar, on September until December 2009. This research Experiments arranged in factorial Completely Randomized Design Association (CRD) with three factors, icluded type of soil, Alfisol (T1), Entisol (T2), and Vertisol (T3), the dose biosulfo fertilizer of 0% dose of SP-36 (P0), 100% dose of SP-36 (P1) and 200% dose of SP-36 (P2 ), and dose of organic matter of 0 tons/ha (B0),5 tons/ha (B1) and 10 tons/ha (B2). Each treatment combination was replicated three times. This research was used polybags a size 40 x 50 cm. Each polybags were taken 10 me and planted with two seeds or red onion. The observed variables were available P and S, P and S uptake and onion yield. Data analysis used F test at 95% and to compare inter treatment average used DMRT test (normal data), Kruskal Wallis test (unnormal data) at 95% and Mood Median test, to determine fertilizer optimum dose used Surface Response test (Regression) and Correlation test to know closely correlation on inter variable. The result showed that the highest P uptake at Alfisol (0,009 gr P/plant) was taken at the application of biosulfo equivalent with 900 kg/ha SP36, at Entisol (0,074 gr P/plant) at the application of 10 ton/ha organic matter, and Vertisol (0,027 gr P/plant) was taken for the application of biosulfo equivalent with 760 kg/ha SP36, respectively. The highest S uptake at Alfisol (0,20 gr S/plant) was taken the application of 10 ton/ha organic matter, at Entisol (2,104 gr S/plant) at the application of biosulfo equivalent with 850 kg/ha SP36, and Vertisol (1,671 gr S/plant) at the application of 10 ton/ha organic matter, respectively. The highest of union yield at Alfisol (10,82 gr/plant) was taken at the application of biosulfo equivalent with 900 kg/ha SP36, at Entisol (83,7 gr/plant) at the application of 10 ton/ha organic matter, and Vertisol (78,8 gr/plant) was taken for the application of 10 ton/ha organic matter, respectively
Kajian Hidrologi pada Satuan Penggunaan Lahan Kawasan Pegunungan Kapur Karangbolong Jawa Tengah
Tittle : Study of Hidrology on Landuse Units Topography Karst Karangbolong. The objective of the research is to study of hidrology on landuse units topography karst Karangbolong. The methods of the research was descriptive analysis and field survey on land units from maps overlays i.e geohidrology map, soilmap, geology map and landuse of Karangbolong map. The result of the research is that Karangbolong western hilly area and its surrounding which an area 234 km2. The research area has a high potential of water resources, due to several reason the water cannot be used by people for agriculture purposes. The landuse forest is mainly belonging to Perhutani. On the stony area Tmk and Tmph or on U1,U2,U3 landuse units area or P1,P2,P3, landuse located on the middle and northern does not change too much and hydrological function is relative unchanged, but the southern area the landuse change too much. Therefore several activities experiences disturbance such as drying water resources and the formation of stalactite and stalagmite, and also several change of landuse such as paddy field becoming arid land, forest becoming settlement area and arid land
PENGGUNAAN EKSTRAK TEH DAN PUPUK KASCING PADA BUDIDAYA CAISIM (Brassica juncea L.)
Title : Using Tea Extract and Vermicompost on Caisim (Brassica juncea L.) Cultivation. The aim of the research is to know the effect of tea extract and vermicompost on yield and growth of caisim (Brassica juncea L.). The research was conducted in February-March 2009 in Screen House in Agriculture Faculty Sebelas Maret University at 96 meter above sea level. The research was arranged on factorial design based on Complete Randomize Design. The treatment of the research was tea extract with concentration 0, 10, 20, and 30 g/L and dosage vermicompost 0, 4, 8 and 12 ton/acre (equal 0, 10, 20 and 30 g/crop). Each treatment was repeated 3 times, and each of them restating 2 crop unit. Data was analysized by analysis of variants with test of 0.05, if there was significant continued with test of Duncan 0.05. Research variable were plant height, leaf number, fresh and shoot biomass weight, fresh and biomass root weight, root volume, chlorophyll content, leaf area and root shoot ratio. Result of research show there is interaction between tea extract and vermicompost on shoot root ratio. Shoot root ratio increase by increasing tea extract concentration on caisim without vermicompost and with vermicompost 8 ton/acre. Application tea extract do not give significantly effect on growth and yield of caisim. Dose vermicompost 8 ton/acre gave the highest of average fresh weight and leaf number. Title : Study of Mass Movement And Critical Landslide On Purworejo District. The objective of the research is to study of mass movement and critical landslide area and also agricultural area degradation in Purworejo. Research method use in the cheking the real condition and also deviation occuring in the field. The research result was the critical area of mass movement and landslide concentrated hilly and mountainous area spreading the nortern and eastern area at 9 Sub District Bruno, Kaligesing, Bagelen and some part of Bener, loano, Pituruh, kemiri and somepart of Purworejo City Sub District. The cause of the mass movement and critical landslide area is the very steep topography used for mixed agriculture area and high intensity rain. The protection conducted is by guidance for society to implement concervation and replanting and also to relocated the resettlement to a safety area
Pengaruh Jarak Tanam dan Dosis Pupuk ZA terhadap Ketersediaan dan Serapan N, S DENGAN Indikator Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) di Alfisols Karanganyar
Title : The Effect of Plant Spacing and ZA Fertilizer to Availability and Uptake of N, S with Groundnut (Arachis Hypogaea L.) Indicator on Alfisols. The aim of this research is to know the effect of ZA fertilizer and plant spacing to the availability and uptake of Nitrogen and Sulfur. This research have been done at Jumantono field, Sukosari, Jumantono, Karanganyar, started from December 2006 until January 2007. This research used factorial experiment that arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two experimental factors. The first factor was 4 levels of ZA fertilizer dosage i.e : 0 kg/ha (Z0), 50 kg/ha (Z1), 100 kg/ha (Z2) and 150 kg/ha (Z3). And second factor was 3 levels of plant spacing i.e : 20 x 20 cm (J1), 30 x15 cm (J3) and 25 x 20 cm (J3). Observation variables include soil variable ( N of soil, available S and pH H2O) and plant variable (N uptake, S uptake, and weight of dry straw). Data analysis used F test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Duncan’s Multiple Range (DMR) test at 5% in level, Mood Median test and Correlation test.Result of this research shows that ZA fertilizer and plant spacing can increase the available sulfur on soil and uptake of N. The highest available S neach 100 kg ZA/ha and 30 x 15 cm plant spacing (0,0277me/100 g),.and the highest average of N uptake is on without ZA and 30 x 15 cm plant spacing (0,623g). ZA fertilizer added and plant spacing has no significantly effect to available N, S uptake, weight of dry straw and pH H2O

Pengaruh Kualitas Seresah Pangkasan Gliricidia maculata (Gamal) dan Salacca Edulis (Salak) terhadap Penghambatan Nitrifikasi dan Efisiensi Pemanfaatan N di Alfisols
Title : The Effect of Litter Quality of Gliricidia maculata and Salacca edulis to Inhibition of Nitrification and Efficiency N Benefit in Alfisols. This research was carried out from august 2008 to February 2009. The purpose of this research were to know the effect of litter quality of Gliricidia maculata and Salacca edulis to inhibition of nitrification and efficiency N benefit in Alfisols.This research was field research with Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) one factor with 11 treatments that repeat 3 times become 33 trial units. This treatment use control, without litter quality + N manure, Gliricidia maculata with dose 5, 10, and 15 ton/ha + N manure, Salacca edulis with dose 5, 10, and 15 ton/ha + N manure, and combination with dose 5, 10, and 15 ton/ha + N manure. To know the effect of treatment with variable used F test 1 % and 5 %. To know the difference between treatments used DMRT 5 %. Database analysis was used Minitab, Excel, and SPSS software. The result of this research showed that the litter quality of Salacca edulis (low quality) and Gliricidia maculata (high quality) not significant inhibit and decrease nitrification. This result can be known from the effect test of potential nitrification, concentration of NH4+ and NO3- that not significant. The average of efficiency N benefit each litter quality are 0.59 % at litter quality of Gliricidia maculata (high quality), 0,669 % at litter quality Salacca edulis (low quality), and 0,667 % at litter quality of combination between Gliricidia maculata and Salacca edulis
