Microsturctural Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of Ti 6Al 4V Alloy in Additive Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing (AM) is a technique used to create sophisticated tools. This research employs selective laser melting to produce Ti-6Al-4V alloy, followed by after-production heating processes to minimize thermal stress and enhance its mechanical characteristics and microstructure. The study investigates the microstructure, mechanical characterization methodologies, SSRT and SCC advancements, titanium alloy corrosion characteristics, and additive manufacturing of Ti-6Al-4V alloy. This study investigates the mechanical and physical characteristics of additively manufactured Ti-6Al-4V alloy samples, which include tensile strength, elongation, relative density, microhardness, and Young's modulus. This specimen's stress corrosion cracking (SCC) has been assessed using a gradual strain rate test in air and aqueous sodium chloride solutions. Automated Academic Advisory System Based on Students’ Emotional Intelligence: A Study of University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought outward unparalleled difficulties in the field of education, emphasizing the need for unique solutions. This study aimed to evaluate the determinants that affect the effective implementation of the automated student academic advisory system at the University of Nizwa of the Sultanate of Oman, with a particular emphasis on its influence on students' emotional intelligence during the pandemic The research utilized the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model to investigate how factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions influence students' behavioral intentions. In addition, the study examined the behavioral intention effects on the use of the automated system, emotional intelligence effects and the experience of COVID-19 specifically influences the actual use of the system. The study employed a case study methodology in combination with a quantitative survey method to gather data from 272 students and advisors at the University of Nizwa. The collected data was analyzed using SmartPLS, a technique known as structural equation modeling. The research provides useful information on the adoption of technology in an educational environment and its impact on student well-being and emotional intelligence. The study found that only performance expectancy and facilitating condition factors had a substantial impact on behavioral intention, whereas effort expectancy and social influence did not. Behavioral intention showed a positive correlation with actual usage, but performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence did not directly influence the actual utilization. Moreover, behavioral intention served as a mediator for the indirect impact of performance expectancy and facilitating conditions on actual usage. However, it did not mediate the indirect impact of social influence and effort expectancy on actual utilization. Furthermore, the impact of COVID-19 and emotional intelligence did not influence the relationship between facilitating conditions and actual use. These findings offer valuable information into understanding educational technology, particularly in situations of global crises, and offer practical recommendations for educators, legislators, and academic institutions seeking to enhance student participation, support, and general well-being.
 
Activity of Argemone Ochroleuca Extract On the in Vitro Viability of Cutaneous Leishmaniasis Promastigotes Comparison to Sodium Stibogluconate Drug
This study investigates the inhibitory activity of Argemone ochroleuca leaf plant extracts which was so prepared by using different solvents (ethanol, methanol, and distilled water) on the in vitro viability of cutaneous leishmaniasis promastigotes, in comparison with the established drug sodium stibogluconate.Cutaneous leishmaniasis, caused by Leishmania parasites, poses significant health challenges globally. Conventional treatments, like sodium stibogluconate, have limitations such as toxicity and drug resistance. Plant extracts, owing to their diverse bioactive constituents, present a potential alternative for disease management.Argemone ochroleuca plant extracts were prepared using ethanol, methanol, and distilled water as solvents. The inhibitory effect on promastigote viability was assessed using a time-based approach, measuring the duration in seconds that is required for inhibition to occur. Interestingly, at certain concentrations, the extract exhibited comparable or even superior efficacy to sodium stibogluconate. Results were compared with the inhibitory effect of sodium stibogluconate. The findings demonstrate the following inhibitory times for Argemone ochroleuca plant extracts: Ethanol: Inhibition occurred at 400 mg/ml in 9 seconds, at 200 mg/ml in 26 seconds, at 100 mg/ml in 60 seconds, and at 50 mg/ml in 128 seconds, Methanol: Inhibition occurred at 400 mg/ml in 13 seconds, at 200 mg/ml in 39 seconds, at 100 mg/ml in 91 seconds, and at 50 mg/ml in 210 seconds and Aquatic extract: Inhibition occurred at 400 mg/ml in 94 seconds, at 200 mg/ml in 150 seconds, at 100 mg/ml in 258 seconds, and at 50 mg/ml in 474 seconds. Comparatively, sodium stibogluconate showed its inhibitory effect at a specific concentration 100 mg/ml in 10 second.These results indicate that the Argemone ochroleuca leaves plant extracts, particularly those prepared using ethanol and methanol, exhibit substantial inhibitory effects on the viability of cutaneous leishmaniasis promastigotes. The variations in inhibitory times among the solvents suggest differences in the bioactive compound extraction and interactions. Ethanol and methanol extracts present potential alternatives to conventional treatments, with faster and efficient inhibitory action.Further research is warranted to elucidate the specific bioactive compounds responsible for these inhibitory effects and to explore the underlying
Discussing the Elements that Caused Family Violence, Consequences, and Current Situation in Vietnam
: Family violence has long been a significant problem in society. It has had severe consequences in many societies. This article is a study of the problem of domestic violence in Vietnam. When evaluated objectively, the currently applicable legal regulations in solving it have not come to life. The interest and understanding of this field have not been studied in detail, and domestic violence has increased alarmingly. From the article’s perspective, the author will analyze domestic violence in Vietnam while pointing out its adverse effects. From here, directions and solutions for the future will be proposed. This article is based on library-based gathering and synthesizing of existing data. The study used journal articles, reports, news articles, and the constitution of Vietnam. The article established that domestic violence is a reality in Vietnam. Domestic violence is manifested in mental, physical, economic, and sexual ways. It was also established that women, children, and the elderly are the most affected. There is a need to broaden the scope of the "Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control"; authorities should ensure that the provisions of the 'Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control" are enforced consistently and comprehensively; the relevant authorities have to do more in the dissemination of information on how to control domestic violence; and there is a need to create a fund to help the victims of domestic violence in their recovery
Contribution to the Study of The Pedofauna In Southern Algeria (Djelfa Forest, Algeria)
This study compares the soil fauna populations of two Aleppo pine sites in the semi-arid bioclimatic zone. One is located at Moudjbara, and the other at Senalba Chergui in the steppe of the Wilaya of Djelfa. Analysis of the soil sample inventories revealed a total of 479 specimens belonging to 9 classes, 16 orders, 38 families and 41 species. The Moudjbara fauna remains the best represented in terms of abundance, with a rate of 53% of the total number, as well as in terms of richness for all taxa combined, 23 families and 26 species compared with 15 for each of the above-mentioned ranks. On the basis of the data collected, it is clear that the Moudjbara forest seems to offer ecological conditions that are more conducive to the establishment of a more diversified community of soil fauna than the Sénalba Chergui forest. The Sénalba Chergui forest is the least rich in species and the least abundant in terms of numbers of individuals. The equitability values for the two biotopes surveyed tend to approach the value of 1, which implies that all the species are more or less equally distributed between them
The Effect of Diffrenet Types of Strengthening RC Columns Subjected to Eccentric Load
In many constructions, columns are subjected to eccentric loads. So, they are unable to withstand higher loading requirements. Ferrocement jacketing and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) have demonstrated exceptionally high efficacy in comparison to other strengthening techniques. This paper presents the results of experimental studies on reinforced concrete columns strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and ferrocement layer composites under an eccentric load. The new techniques depended on the combination of (CFRP) and Ferrocement to strengthen RC columns, which are subjected to eccentric loads. To get the average result for the model, ten tested models are patterned using two of each specimen, totaling twenty tested specimens. Models are divided into four groups in accordance with the method of strengthening. The specimen in the first group has not been strengthened. The second group consists of six specimens strengthened with one, two, or three successive layers of the wire mesh with an outer 15 mm thickened coating. The third group consists of four specimens strengthened with one or two successively wrapped layers of the (CFRP). The fifth group consists of six specimens strengthened with one or two layers of CFRP and one or two layers of concrete wire mesh. The purpose of the current study is to compare the use of CFRP, ferrocement layers, or a combination of carbon fibers and ferrocement to strengthen concrete columns that are subjected to eccentric loads (e/t = 0.5). Study of Some Physiological Activities for Multimetal Tolerant Bacteria Under Metallic Stress
Electroplating effluents contain heavy metals besides nitrate, which can be harmful to aquatic and terrestrial life if released into the environment. Bioremediation is an imperative task to remove these contaminants from aquatic surfaces. Bacterial species that are tolerant to multiple metals were isolated from electroplating effluents and studied for their ability to withstand high metal concentrations and perform physiological activities. These activities included the production of carotenoid pigments and the reduction of nitrate during exponential and stationary growth phases after exposure to high concentrations of single and quaternary metals. The influence of heavy metals on these activities and bacterial behavior was evaluated. The results showed that the production of carotenoid pigments increased over time, with the highest quantities produced at 48 hours with Zn, Cu, and quaternary. Pigments produced vary with the different types of metals and their concentrations. The ratio of pigment extract to unladen metal cells was higher compared to laden metals cells. The isolates were also capable of reducing nitrate and producing nitrite, but high metal concentrations hindered the conversion of nitrite to nitrogen gas and accumulated great amounts of nitrite between the end of the exponential phase and the start of the stationary phase. The production of carotenoids allowed the bacteria to tolerate high metal concentrations and continue reducing nitrate. This study suggests that pigmented bacteria and aerobic denitrifiers have the potential for bioremediation and nitrate reduction, which can help clean and recover contaminated environments
ERPCA-GFCM: An Enhanced DDoS Detection Model on Internet of Things
This research paper introduced an Enhanced Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Detection model specifically designed for IoT devices. Given the prevalence of DDoS attacks targeting IoT devices, which involve overwhelming a system with malicious traffic to disrupt its normal functioning, the proposed model aimed to enhance the security and resilience of IoT networks. To address this, the proposed model integrated multiple techniques to improve detection and classification accuracy. The first technique, ER-Relief algorithm, is a feature selection method made to address the presence of noise and outliers in the dataset by minimizing a loss function based on the empirical sum of margins. To further enhance the model's performance, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was utilized for dimensionality reduction. PCA transforms the original high-dimensional feature space into a lower-dimensional space while preserving the most critical information. To achieve better clustering results, the model incorporates the Global Fuzzy C-means algorithm. This algorithm addressed the issue of sensitivity to initial conditions, which lead to suboptimal clustering results. By incorporating fuzzy logic principles, Global Fuzzy C-means assigning data points to multiple clusters with varying degrees of membership, providing a more nuanced representation of the underlying data structure. Lastly, the Random Forest algorithm was employed for training and testing the model. The model was then tested on the CICDDoS2019 dataset, which contains three (3) types of DDoS attacks, namely DNS, UDP, and MSSQL attacks. Based on the evaluation results, the proposed model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.92%, recall of 97.92%, F1-score of 97.90%, and precision of 97.93%. These metrics highlighted the model's effectiveness, showcasing its ability to accurately detect and classify various types of DDoS attacks with high precision and recall. This research contributes to the advancement of network security by providing a robust and reliable solution for combating DDoS attacks
Identifying 'Urban Void' Along the Shortest Path in the University Tramway and Walking Environment
The New City of Ali Mendjli tram line is more than just a public transportation axis; it represents a new tourist product that strongly impacts the socioeconomic environment and the city's image. Since its inauguration in 2014, it has been catering to a student population estimated at 60,000. However, the layout of this dedicated line raises issues concerning the accessibility of the neighborhoods and the buildings it serves. Throughout its 400m corridor, we have identified accessibility constraints stemming from inadequate topography, indirect access to buildings within the central areas, and an unclear urban landscape, unfortunately, unqualified due to the city's design based on a network of vehicular traffic. In this quintessential university town, student housing can present an opportunity for sustainable development, especially when taking advantage of its proximity to the tramway. Therefore, the New City needs to craft a distinctive image worthy of its status and display its local identity. This article aims to identify the tramway as a means of public transportation concerning its practical, comfortable, and secure usage. Additionally, we seek to explore perspectives on optimizing university commuters' movements through walking. To achieve this, we present an experience that analyzes students' perception of their university environment, its strengths, and risks regarding circulation, pathways, and locations through the interpretation of visual diagrams. The conclusions drawn from this exercise will aid in designing "void frameworks" intended as markers to assist pedestrians in orienting themselves from the tramway, ensuring sustainable development for the New City of Ali Mendjli
Capital Adequacy Ratio Modeling
Intends to analyze the determinants of BOPO and its implications for CAR. This is important for banking management guidelines and society in general. The results are expected to find whether BOPO can mediate against CAR. Make a formula to maximize CAR value through BOPO as an indicator of efficiency and intervening variable. The object is a banking company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a sample of 20 companies, a span of 8 years to form the 160 Observations data panel. There are two research models (Determinants of BOPO and Implications for CAR) which are integrated into one model using Eviews 9 software. In both analysis, a model selection test is required through the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test (LM). The results of the first model, an increase in INF, FS has an impact on a decrease in BOPO (efficient), results that are contrary to theory, LDR is positively correlated, NPL is negatively correlated, KI. The results of the second model, INF, LDR have a significant negative correlation with CAR, while KI, FS, NPL, and BOPO are significant according to theory.
