Aggressive Behavior in Children with Intellectual Limitations from The Teachers' Perspective
No full textThe current study aimed to identify the level of aggressive behavior of mentally limited children from the teachers' point of view in and to determine the nature of the differences between the average responses of teachers of mentally limited students in diagnosing the level of aggressive behavior due to a variable gender, academic qualification and years of experience. The study sample consisted of (100) male and female teachers from the category of mentally retarded children in Jerusalem. They were chosen by a simple random method using the aggressive behavior scale. The results concluded that the level of aggressive behavior came to medium degrees, that is, the presence of aggressive behavior among children with mental limitations from the teachers' point of view. The behaviors came in order: aggressive behavior towards oneself, aggressive behavior towards others, aggressive behavior towards objects and possessions, and verbal aggressive behavior. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05??) in the averages of teachers' responses to diagnosing the level of aggressive behavior. The results also show children with mental limitations in Jerusalem due to gender, educational qualification, and years of experience
Brazilian Nursing Team: Quality of Working Life and The Leadership Influence
No full textObjective: Analyzing the relation between the nurses-in-chief managerial styles with the Quality of Working Life (QWL). The balance between quality of life and work brings some sub-dimensions between life outside the workplace and work itself. Most of the investigated studies address the impact of work on life and the impact of life on the job. This analysis is important, as it contributes to several aspects, such as, for example, to increase the level of activity or participation. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional, qualitative, explanatory, and descriptive study. The sample was 61 nursing professionals (RNs) who held board positions, heads of department, managers, unit areas coordinators or supervisors, executive boards and/or departments, and 134 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) at a hospital with a direct public administration in Brazil. The data collection was based on The Quality of Working Life Questionnaire (QWLQ-brief) and the Scale of Evaluation of the Managerial Style (SEMS) forwarded electronically. Results: The indices considered satisfactory begin from 55 points. The QWLQ-brief average was 46,39% (neutral position), and the physical/health aspects were considered unsatisfactory (mean 44,89%; 44, 13%).Conclusion: The conclusion showed relational possibilities between the Nurse-in-chief managerial style and the perception of the Quality of Working Life. The perception of the neutral life quality and some unsatisfactory sub-dimensions was related to the managerial style based on tasks

Methods of Expressing Parcellation Phenomenon in Karakalpak Language

The skill of the writer in revealing the characteristics of the hero through the parcellation phenomenon is shown. Integrating Community-Based Inquiry and Students´ Sense of Belonging to Develop English Writing Skills
No full textThis study reports an action research on the effects of using community-based inquiry as a strategy to develop writing skills with 35 ninth-grade public school students. Data were collected through the application of a teacher´s diary, a writing diagnostic test, and four questionnaires, which were analyzed in the light of mixed methods. The findings revealed that the students retrieved existing information dealing to isolated vocabulary to creatively connect them with their writing process, they worked on building positive relationships through the guided and peer writing correction exercises, and by the engaging experience with the community inquiry, the participants of this research study supported their narrative sequencing, and knowledge of grammar. In conclusion, the study showed that the use of Community-Based Inquiry in combination with a sense of belonging, feedback, and correction produced meaningful effects on the development of learners’ writing skills
Design and Fabrication of a Ploughing and Seeding Machine and Its Applications
No full textAgriculture being one of the major livelihoods in India, it is very indispensable to discover and implement new idea in this field though lot of work has been done in this area. It is unfortunate that, these ideas are not been implemented properly in actual field. This is due to high cost and is complicated for rural people. Agro-technology is the technology of agriculture, as the methods or machinery needed for efficient production. Agriculture sector need an improvement in the efficiency of the crop produced and also to develop a better mechanical machine to help the agriculture field which reduces the amount and time of work spent on one crop. Ploughing and seeding processes are fundamental stages in agricultural field, they can impact crop yield and overall farm productivity. Nowadays farmers using bulls for ploughing a crop, it takes lot of time if it is done by farmer and animals. There is another way to plough a field that is by using tractors, but the tractors are very expensive. A farmer cannot effort that much of money. In order to rectify this problem, a power tiller machine has been designed which is capable of doing ploughing and seeding operations simultaneously. This is fabricated with less capital. The electric power tiller machine helps to reduce the time and cost involved in tilling. The development of this ploughing and seeding machine represents a significant step towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced agricultural sector
Impact of Sugar Cane Molasses to Concrete Strength and Concrete Retardation
No full textThe impacts of sugar cane molasses to the strength and retardation of concrete was investigated in this study. A total of 15 concrete cylinder of size 150mm diameter x 300mm Height with a mix ratio of 1:2:4 were cast with different percentages of sugar cane molasses replacing some proportion of water in the concrete mix. The concrete cylinder was prepared by reducing water by 10-20% with sugar cane molasses in the following percentage, 0.3% by weight of cement of molasses, 0.6% of molasses, 1.2% of molasses and 1.5% of Molasses. The concrete cylinder was cured, tested and the physical properties of concrete were determined. The slump values of the concrete increased by 10mm when the percentage of molasses increases. A decrease in compressive strength was noticed when the percentage of molasses increases. The highest final setting time of 240 minutes occurred at 1.50% of molasses. The increased in retardation of concrete was noticed when the percentages of molasses increases
Implementation of Safety Management of Selected Construction Companies in Manila
No full textIn the 1980s, the safety management system (SMS) was created to reduce material waste and the risk of accidents and fatalities in the construction industry. With the correct SMS deployment, construction companies can reduce safety-related difficulties. This study assessed the current status of construction safety management intending to determine the level of implementation of selected construction companies with category AAA in Manila, Philippines. A survey was done to determine the SMS implementation level in terms of lack of control, basic cause, immediate cause, incident, and accident. The researcher used the quantitative method of research with the survey questionnaire as the main tool in gathering data. Architects, engineers, safety officers, and skilled workers were the respondents of the study. The gathered data were statistically treated with the use of Frequency, Percentage, Weighted Mean, Kruskal Wallis, Man Whitney U-test, and Spearman Rho Correlation. The overall results showed that the level of the selected construction companies in Manila is somewhat implemented. The results of this study are helpful to the industry as well because they can improve the understanding of SMS among industry professionals and aid in better SMS deployment at work
Development and Validation of New Rp-Hplc Method for The Simultaneous Estimation of Lamivudine, Tenofovir and Doravirine in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form
No full textA simple, accurate, and precise quantitative approach for the simultaneous quantification of Lamivudine, Tenofovir, and Doravarine in pharmaceutical dose form was developed. The chromatogram was performed on an Inertsil C18, 150 * 4.6mm, 5µm column with a mobile phase containing 0.1% orthophosphoric acid and Acetonitrile in a 50:50 v/v ratio that was pumped through the column at a flow rate of 1ml/min. The temperature was kept at 30°C. The optimal wavelength was 230.0 nm. Lamivudine, Tenofovir, and Doravarine had retention times of 2.238, 2.623, and 3.088 minutes, respectively. For three medications evaluated, the % RSD of system precision and method precision was determined to be less than 2%. The mean % recovery for Lamivudine, Tenofovir, and Doravarine was 101.32 percent, 99.94 %, and 100.61 %, respectively. The method was found to be simple, accurate, sensitive,cost effective and can be useful in routine quality control analysis
