    No full text
The current research presents a numerical investigate of the effect of the heat source length and location on the mixed convection aiding flow inside the horizontal channel attached with an open parallelogram cavity .When the heated wall is on the same side of the force inflow .The heat source length was considered as (?) (0.25< ? <1) with a different in the location of the heat source on sidewalls of the cavity. The   cold airflow and fixed velocity enter the channel horizontally. The vertical walls in the inflow and outflow sides are isothermal while all other walls are adiabatic. The flow and thermal fields computed for a wide range of Richardson   numbers (Ri=0.1-100). While, both Reynolds and Prandtl numbers are kept constant at (Re = 100) and (Pr = 0.71). The results were presented of the flow and thermal fields, average Nusselt numbers. The results show that a rate of heat transfer is increase with in increasing in Richardson numbers (Ri) and the length of the heat source(?). Also, it was found that, the maximum average Nusselt number is achieved in the upper region of the right wall of the cavity for all values of Richardson numbe

The Effect of O2O Service Characteristics on Behavioral Intention through the Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction Coexistence: An Investigation on KakaoT

    No full text
The study aims to examine the impact of O2O services that have become a ubiquitous part of our daily lives, with a specific focus on the widely used O2O service, KakaoT. Despite a recent setback in the form of a fire that caused inconvenience and harm to its users, some temporarily switched to alternative O2O services but eventually returned to KakaoT, which can be seen as a demonstration of the fact that these alternatives do not fully understand the needs of the users. The research endeavors to distinguish the characteristics of O2O services used by users and analyze the effect on their behavioral intentions through two-factor coexistence. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for existing and future companies providing O2O service

Analysis of Operation Time of Sprinkler by RTI Value

    Get PDF
In this study, a scenario was developed and studied to find out the change in the operation time of the sprinkler head according to the difference in the RTI value of the sprinkler head in the event of a fire in a partitioned space. The simulation results of the operation time according to the change in the RTI value of the sprinkler head are as follows. As a result of analyzing the operation time of the sprinkler head for each scenario, it was confirmed that the lower the RTI value, the faster the operation time, and in the case of Scenarios 2 and 3, the change of the RTI value is not significant, either. Also, the sprinkler head in the same position did not operate at the same time because the sprinkler head near the window position was slower. Therefore, it was confirmed that the sprinkler head with a low RTI value should be used in places with high risk when a fire occurs, and that the sprinkler head should be installed in a position where the wind effect is insignificant

Impulse noise threshold detection and Noise removal using Non-local Grid Network

    No full text
The method of removing the existing Impulse noise was to find the threshold and apply the median filter to remove the noise. In this paper, we try to find reference values in neural networks. In order to find noise, we used a non-local method to consider not only the information of the region but also the entire region. We then utilized Yolo's grid cell structure to make stronger predictions considering various sizes and different areas. Accordingly, qualitative and quantitative evaluation results show better performance than conventional median filters

Path Model: Effect of Knowledge, Personality and Behavior Intentions toward Climate Change Adaptive Behavior

    No full text
This study was aimed at modelling of climate change adaptive behaviour from basic model theory Responsible Environmental Behaviour (REB) by Hines, and to know the effect of knowledge about climate change (CC), personality, behavior intention toward CC adaptive behavior. A survey method was used by involving 481 Cadets at The School of Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics (STMKG) as sample in this study. There were 4 instruments in this research for measuring knowledge about CC (24 items, reliability .923), personality (25 items, reliability .933), behavior intention (34 items, reliability .976) and CC adaptive behavior of cadets (24 items, reliability .964). Data was analyzed by descriptive statistical, path modelling analysis and inferential statistics. The results revealed that path model at CC adaptive behavior have the significant suitability model. CC adaptive behavior significantly direct and indirect affected knowledge about CC, personality, and behaviour intention, but unaffected indirectly by knowledge about CC. Based on those findings, it can be concluded that variations in CC adaptive behavior of STMKG cadets are affected by variations in knowledge about CC, personality, and behaviour intention. It means that Path model can used to predict CC adaptive behavior based on knowledge about CC, personality, and behavior intention

    Get PDF
The implementation of the K to 12 programs in the Philippines has significantly expanded vocational education opportunities for students, aiming to enhance their future prospects. However, the issue of teacher-subject mismatch, particularly in TVL (Technical-Vocational-Livelihood) courses, has emerged as a significant challenge affecting teachers, students, implementers, and other stakeholders. This research investigates the prevalence of teacher-subject mismatch in Senior High Schools offering TVL subjects in Agusan del Sur, Philippines. Utilizing qualitative data collection and thematic analysis, four key themes were identified: Qualifications of TVL Teachers, Existence of Teacher-Subject Mismatch, Impact of Teacher-Subject Mismatch, and Policy Enhancement for Teacher-Subject Alignment. Despite possessing qualifications, TVL teachers perceive a concerning presence of teacher-subject mismatch in their schools. Based on the respondents' perspectives analyzed in this study, policy improvements are recommended to address the issue of teacher-subject mismatch in vocational education. &nbsp

Supervision and Information and communication relate to control activities that are incorporated into control processes and operations for the purpose of evaluation and continuous improvement (CGR, 2016). It is an observational study of quantitative approach, causal explanatory level with a probability sample of 120 workers, which evaluate the measurement model and the construct of variables, whose data are analysed with PLS-SEM statistical tests.  The measurement model assesses its applicability with the results of the validity and reliability indicators, which are above the threshold of 0.60 and 0.50. The evaluation of the structural model is carried out by means of the Bootstrapping inference statistical analysis. The results show that there are direct and indirect effects of supervision and information and communication of the mediation model, where the total direct effects of managerial control activities and administrative management performance coefficient ?t=0.217 and the total indirect effects are 0.491 and are highly significant

This quantitative study delves into the relationship between kindergarten teachers' professional needs, experiences, efficacy beliefs, and their overall performance. Using survey questionnaires, this descriptive study gathered data from 101 kindergarten teachers selected from various districts of the Department of Education within the Division of Butuan City. The findings of the study indicate that several factors are significantly related to teachers' performance, including classroom management, professional experiences related to learning assessment, family engagement, learning outcomes, and self-management efficacy beliefs. Additionally, the study identified a predictive framework comprising inclusive education, family engagement, learning outcomes, and self-management variables, which play key roles in determining teachers' performance. The implications of these findings suggest the need for the development of seminar workshops and program training designed to address the specific needs of kindergarten teachers, particularly considering that many teachers in the Butuan City Division are young and early in their careers. Such initiatives can contribute to enhancing teacher effectiveness and ultimately foster early childhood success. &nbsp
