Review on Helicobacteriosis Associated Diseases
Helicobacteriosis is a bacterial infection caused by Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori)(HP). which was discovered in 1982 by Australian scientists Barry Marshall and Robin Warren, who were later awarded the Nobel Prize in 2005.Epidemiological evidence has shown that H.pylori colonizes the upper gastrointestinal tract(GIT), and the infection is one of the most common human bacterial pathogens worldwide, with 4.4 billion infected individuals in 2015, but the prevalence varies according to situation and hygiene principles. Since this first isolation, it has become apparent that this organism may be one of the most common bacterial pathogens of humans, and it is one of the risk factors for adenocarcinoma. Thus, it was categorized as a group 1 carcinogen in 1994 by the World Health Organization (WHO). New infections with H.pylori are thought to occur as a consequence of direct human-to-human transmission, via either an oral-oral or fecal-oral route or both. H.pylori has been detected in stool, saliva, vomitus, and gastric refluxate, the material that has been subject to reflux, principally stomach acid that has leaked up into the esophagus. Clinically, H. pylori infection in humans is related to chronic gastritis, peptic ulceration, duodenal ulcer, and gastric cancer in addition to mucosa-associated lymphoid malignancies.According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates available at that time, it was supposed that about 4.4 billion infected individuals in 2015 were infected with H. pylori. These estimations can vary and are subject to change over time as recent investigations and information become obtainable. The prevalence of H. pylori is complex and affected by several factors, comprising age, clinical outcomes, geographical location, and socioeconomic status. A higher incidence was reported in unhygienic and economically poor areas; the rate of H. pylori infection in Africa, South America, and Asia was significantly higher than that in Western Europe, North America, and Australia. However, the disease spectrum of H. pylori infection shows a wide range of clinical aspects, including gastrointestinal diseases and extra gastric manifestations. In this review, we have described the general scope of these diseases
Analysis of Government Interventions to Addressed Hazard: A Case Study of Covid-19 Pandemic in ASEAN
This study provides a review of government interventions policies and measures used to address hazard with the case of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN). This study focuses on four government interventions such as policy interventions, social restrictions and lockdown measures, economic interventions, and health policies. Based on the literature reviewed, this study reveals that the lockdown played a crucial role in breaking the COVID-19 pandemic chain. Countries that delayed the implementation of lockdown experienced an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. On the other hand, countries that proactively hastened the lockdown were able to reduce the number of cases. Furthermore, health and medical facilities such as the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), Intensive Care Units (ICUs), and ventilators were important in alleviating the pressure on the health systems. Overall, ASEAN countries initiated similar approaches such as economic stimulus packages, to boost their economies and to minimize the negative economic impact of COVID-19. Generally, all the countries practiced social distancing, wearing of face masks, as well as testing and contact tracing. There were partial and full movement control of the population (lockdowns) as well as closure of international borders educational institutions, and restaurants and entertainment hubs to flatten the pandemic curve and break the COVID-19 chain. This study believes that tester kits were also crucial in detecting earlier cases which probably resulted to the increase in the number of active cases. However, lack of tester kits probably accounted for the understated number of active cases. This study also believes that quarantine zone was more efficient than home quarantine. Although it is now post pandemic, this study is important as a lesson learnt for future mitigation strategy and reduce the impact of hazard

Audiovisual-Based Jigsaw Method in Post-COVID-19 to Increase Students' Capacity in Indonesia
Recovery of learning after the Covid-19 pandemic requires all stakeholders to innovate inclusive and quality learning as an option to mitigate learning loss towards learning in the new normal era. Hybrid learning is an alternative learning towards a transitional period in the form of a mix between online and offline learning. This research is to measure the effectiveness of the audiovisual-based jigsaw method in the hybrid learning process to increase the capacity of junior high school students to write scientific papers in Maros Regency, Indonesia. The research was using a descriptive-qualitative approach, namely exploring the learning situation through the application of the J-AV method to measure the students’ capacity of scientific papers and the ability to work together in groups. This research found an empirical fact that students were able to significantly increase their capacity to write scientific papers through the jigsaw learning method using audiovisual media on aspects of format, writing, presentation, analysis, synthesis and conclusion. Before using audiovisual media, the average score of students’ scientific papers was 71 with a quality of C or medium, but by using audiovisual media in compiling scientific papers, they could increase their average score to be 84 with B or good quality
Internal Control Failure in SARS-CoV-2 PCR, Technical vs specimen Etiology
SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic was global threat and preventing the re-pandemic considered the main target nowadays in many of healthcare commissions. Early and rapid diagnosis was achieved by PCR testing for COVID-19, against this concept was the rejection and or reptation of testing because of failure of processing mainly due to internal control failure (ICF). The objective of our study was emerged to find out the main cause of Internal Control Failure in SARS-CoV-2 PCR, and whether it caused mainly by Technical or Specimen Etiology.50 specimens of SARS-CoV-2 PCR were used with their original testing result were of Internal Control Failure then repeated to conclude whether it caused by Technical (the second reading gave a valid result) or Specimen Etiology (the second reading gave a ICF result). The result was highly significant. (p < .05). comparing the valid second result (technical causes) to ICF second result (specimen causes). We concluded that technical causes of ICF was the main cause of ICF result of PCR testing for COVID-19 with minimal specimen etiological cause that could recommend to interpret the result t of positive or negative from first reading with commenting on ICF with repetition especially in valid run and urgent specimen
Streptococcus Salivarius K12 Probiotic in Periodic Fever, Aphthous Stomatitis, Pharyngitis, and Adenitis syndrome
Background and Objectives: Periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, and adenitis (PFAPA) is the most common syndrome in children. This complication is characterized by the sudden onset of fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, and cervical adenitis, as well as less common signs, such as headache, rash, and changes in the digestive system. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the probiotic Streptococcus Salivarius K12 in patients with PFAPA. Materials and Methods: This randomized clinical trial included PFAPA patients divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group, along with the conventional treatments, received Lactogum containing Probiotic Streptococcus Salivarius K12 for four months. The control group, however, received conventional treatments, including acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (prednisolone), along with a placebo. Results: This study investigated 40 PFAPA patients. The mean ages of the patients in the control and intervention groups were 6.94±2.21 and 5.71±2.59 years, respectively. The highest fever temperature of the children in the control and intervention groups upon admission to the clinic were 38.88±0.53ºC and 39.96±0.85ºC, respectively. According to the results, in the first month, the mean number of days suffering from fever was fewer in the intervention group, compared to the control group. Moreover, the mean number of pharyngitis days in the first and second months was fewer in the intervention group than that in the control group. In the fourth month, the disease symptom percentages were reduced in the intervention group, compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results show that the use of probiotics (Streptococcus Salivarius K12) can be effective in reducing the consumption of corticosteroids and minimizing the complications caused by conventional treatments.
