The Impact of Building Regulations and Laws on the Form of Cities in Egypt
Urban formation is a complex interplay of physical infrastructure and socio-cultural dynamics that shape the development and visual identity of cities. Influenced by geographical landscapes, societal structures, and historical contexts, urban planning integrates various architectural elements and legislative frameworks. This study explores the evolution of urban development from ancient civilizations to modern times, emphasizing the role of building regulations in promoting sustainable practices and preserving cultural identities. It examines Egypt as a case study, tracing the historical progression of its urban and building laws, highlighting shifts in policy and their impacts on urban morphology. The analysis underscores the importance of adaptive regulatory frameworks in responding to contemporary challenges such as rapid urbanization and societal changes, thereby shaping the future trajectory of urban environments.
Study of Nuclear Properties of Even-Even (164,166 and 168) W Isotopes in the Interaction Boson Model (IBM-1)
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of tungsten isotopes (W) with atomic numbers ranging from 164 to 168 using the Interaction Boson Model (IBM-1). The properties and structures of these isotopes were investigated by considering three dynamic symmetries: rotational SU (3), O (6), and dynamic vibrational SU (5). By comparing practical energy ratios with ideal values for each dynamic symmetry, the classification of the isotopes in transitional regions was determined. Specifically, isotopes 164-166 were found to belong to the SU (3)-O (6) transitional region, while isotope 168 adhered to the SU (3)-O (6) region. The study computed the Hamiltonian function and quadrupole electric transition effect and compared theoretical and experimental energy levels. The determination of the number of valence bosons aided in characterizing the atomic composition of the studied isotopes. These findings enhance our understanding of the nuclear properties of tungsten isotopes within the framework of IBM-1, providing insights into their dynamic symmetries and energy levels
Treatment of Barbital and Triazine from the Surface Water Using a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Process Containing SW-40-HRLE-400-Polyamide Membrane
Abstract: In this study, barbital and triazone samples taken from surface water located in Manisa-?zmir Turkey were treated using a RO membrane reactor process. No significant effect of feed pressure on permeate flow rate was detected. An increase in barbital and triazone concentration did not significantly vary the permeate flow rate. No significant variations of barbital and triazone rejections were detected versus feed increasing pressure at constant barbital and triazone concentrations, and no significant effects of temperature increase on the rejections of barbital and triazone were detected. The effect of increasing feed pressure did not significantly correlate with e-water recovery (rejection) from the permeate and pollutant recoveries from the retentate. The total cost was calculated as Euros 0,306 to treat 1 m3 surface water from barbital and triazone.

The Use of Social Media and its Relationship to Psychological Alienation and Academic Procrastination
Although social media has been of great benefit to the flow of information and lifestyle inspiration, some negatives have radically changed an individual's life from a societal perspective. It enslaved its users psychologically and socially; Users have become victims of the digital product rather than the controller. Many psychological, social, academic, and cultural problems have emerged. Therefore, it was important to determine the extent to which social media was used by young people. Study the relationship between social media use, psychological alienation, and academic procrastination, and the differences between males and females in the study variables. The data was collected from 345 students from Najran University, of whom (186) were males and (159) were females. The average age of the sample ranged from (M = 21.3 years, and SD = 2.87 years. The results showed that 73.33% of the participants used social media more than four hours a day. Linear regression analysis also showed that students who would serve social media more than four hours a day had a higher level of psychological alienation and academic procrastination compared to those who used social media for less than two hours. In addition, there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in psychological alienation, while differences have emerged. A statistically significant function between males and females in academic procrastination in the direction of males. These findings suggest the importance of illustrating the negative effects of frequent use of social media on students, youth, and members of society in general. In addition to the importance of officials and relevant authorities such as universities, educational institutions, the family, and the media, to educate young people about the negative effects of the frequent use of social media on psychological, social, and academic aspects
