Line Electrician Field Training 2-A: Course Outcome Summary and Syllabus
This 9-page syllabus and 8-page course outcome summary, published by Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), provide information about the Line Electrician Field Training 2-A course taught at NWTC. The course covers the "installation of underground lines and equipment, underground troubleshooting, and trencher operation." Also discussed is the design and construction of single phase transformers.The syllabus includes 15 course competencies, seven employability skills, the course grading system, textbooks and course material, a classroom course calendar, and a field lab course calendar, and assessments. MATE ROV Competition 2024: Ranger Class Manual
This 86-page manual, from the Marine Advanced Technology Education Center, was provided to those competing in the Ranger Class at the MATE ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) 2024 competition. Every year, the "competition challenges students to build a ROV to tackle tasks based on the real world." The competition is divided into the following competition classes: Explorer, Ranger, Pioneer, and Navigator, and Scout. These classes are "based on the level of complexity required to build the vehicle." For 2024, participants of each competition class were challenged to design and build ROVs to complete the following four tasks: OOI: Coastal Pioneer Array, SMART Cables for Ocean Observing, From the Red Sea to Tennessee, MATE Floats!This manual provides all the rules, requirements, and guidelines for teams competing in the Ranger Class of the competition. A table of contents and the following sections are included: Overview, Product Demonstration, Product Demonstration Prop Building Instructions and Photos, Vehicle Design and Building Specifications, Competition Rules, Engineering & Communication, and Submission Guidelines and Key Deadlines.Additional manuals and competitor technical reports from the 2024 MATE ROV competition are available to view separately
