CSR as a Social Investment Chain: Building Digital Capabilities and Employability through School-Based Institutional Practice
This study examines how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) functions as a social investment chain to develop digital capabilities and enhance employability through institutional practices within secondary schools. Building on the evolving perspective of CSR-from a moral obligation to a strategy for creating shared value-this research employs a qualitative case study approach at SMK Forward Nusantara Depok, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving company representatives, school leaders, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that CSR extends beyond merely providing resources; it operates as a multi-tiered process encompassing investment in digital access, institutional capacity building, and the cultivation of student employability. Digital facilities are transformed into sustainable learning practices through teacher training, curriculum integration, and school governance, enabling students to produce digital projects, build portfolios, and foster independent learning. These practices exemplify social investment mechanisms at the micro level that cultivate future-oriented capabilities. This study contributes to the CSR and welfare literature by conceptualizing CSR as a social investment chain grounded in institutional practices and offers practical implications for designing CSR programs focused on educational capacity building.

Community-Driven Development in Waste Management: Lessons from Palasari, Bandung
Population growth has increased waste production, overwhelming sanitation workers and necessitating active community participation to address environmental challenges. Community involvement is often viewed through the lens of external interventions led by governments or NGOs. In contrast, the Palasari community in Bandung independently established the Wargi Manglayang Waste Bank, managed without external involvement. This study aims to demonstrate that independent, bottom-up community-driven development (CDD) effectively addresses environmental issues while meeting community needs. Using a qualitative approach, the study identifies evidence of the success of the CDD model in the Wargi Manglayang Waste Bank. Findings reveal that this model emphasizes community autonomy in managing resources to tackle environmental challenges with economic benefits. Creative, voluntary initiatives by community members foster a participatory and inclusive management model. This approach enhances residents’ sense of ownership through direct involvement based on their potential and capabilities. Transparent and communicative management ensures that information is accessible to all, strengthening collective awareness. These findings confirm that the bottom-up CDD model, as exemplified by the Wargi Manglayang Waste Bank, is an effective approach to community developmentKeywords: Community-driven development, Bottom-up approach, Waste bankPertumbuhan penduduk telah berdampak pada peningkatan produksi sampah yang membebani petugas kebersihan, dan mengharuskan partisipasi aktif masyarakat untuk mengatasi tantangan lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Pembangunan berbasis masyarakat, pendekatan bottom-up, Bank sampa
Digital Divide and Classifying Social Class in Rural Development: Voices from the Secondary Data of Field
This paper aims to investigate the digital divide and to classify social class as a significant indicator in the context of rural development. The study employed secondary data analysis derived from the Data Desa Presisi (DDP). The researcher meticulously analyzed and reinterpreted statistical data to identify new potential avenues for development planning, with a particular focus on Neglasari Village. The findings indicate that the predominant social class in the research area consists largely of lower-class individuals or casual laborers, who are categorized as impoverished in terms of rural development. This categorization aligns with the conclusion that poverty, as revealed through social class mapping, contributes to the digital divide, which is predominantly influenced by the upper social class. Consequently, this dynamic tends to create a segmentation of development information at the initial level. Conversely, it is noteworthy that the lower class exhibits the highest purchasing power for communication expenses, raising questions about the effectiveness and utility of network access and communication costs. This study serves as a valuable resource for village development planners, emphasizing the importance of considering the dynamics of social class, the implications of the digital divide, and the necessity for evaluative and accountable development monitoring models in the distribution of targeted programs

Discourse on Suicide among Students at Yogyakarta Universities
Student suicide as a recent phenomenon is always discussed from a psychological and individualist perspective. Therefore, this research has a problem formulation of how regulated statements or discourse regarding DIY student suicide are formed. This research seeks to reveal knowledge about suicide by students. This knowledge is created by discourse. In Archeology of Knowledge (1972: 80), Foucault defines discourse as the "general domain of statement." This research is a type of qualitative research. The data collected is text data reporting suicides of Yogyakarta students. The analysis produces findings that strengthen Marsh's (2010) opinion that suicide cases in this era are seen in mental health discussions. With discussions about mental health, suicide is confused with a psychiatric medical lens that creates awareness of the importance of psychology in society. However, this view creates a reduction in the way suicide is viewed
