No full textRokok adalah hasil olahan tembakau yang digulung/dilinting dengan kertas baik menggunakan tangan atau mesin. Perilaku merokok merupakan suatu aktivitas membakar tembakau, menghisap lalu menghembuskan asapnya. Merokok telah diketahui menjadi faktor resiko karena mengandung zat-zat kimia yang berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan. Matematika merupakan salah satu ilmu yang dapat menganalisa masalah yang terjadi dalam kehidupan dengan menggunakan pemodelan matematika. Salah satu masalah yang dapat dikaji dengan model matematika adalah penyebaran perilaku merokok. Penelitian ini mengkaji penyebaran perilaku merokok terhadap laki-laki dengan memperhatikan faktor lingkungan pertemanan. Model ini membagi menjadi empat subpopulasi yaitu: subpopulasi laki-laki yang berpotensi menjadi perokok , subpopulasi laki-laki yang hanya coba-coba merokok , subpopulasi laki-laki perokok aktif , subpopulasi laki-laki yang sembuh dari pengaruh rokok . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh dua titik ekuilibrium yaitu titik ekuilibrium bebas merokok dan titik ekuilibrium endemik . Hasil simulasi titik ekuilibrium bebas merokok menunjukan bahwa nilai , maka perilaku merokok berkurang dan akan hilang seiring berjalannya waktu. Hasil simulasi titik ekuilibrium endemik menunjukan bahwa nilai , maka perilaku merokok akan meningkat dan setiap perokok dapat menularkan perilaku merokoknya kepada lebih dari satu perokok baru sehingga perilaku merokok semakin meluas

No full textThe purpose of this study is to identify fraudsters using Symmetric Bivariate Polynomials with one share detecion. This type of research is quantitative using the method Secret Sharing Scheme (SPR). Where in this study combines several schemes, one of which is Scheme Liu et al. (2018). The scheme Liu et al. (2018) is a Symmetric Bivariate Polynomial scheme, in the writing of the Liu et al. (2018) scheme they identy fraudsters using two share detections. In the study, researchers also use Symmetric Bivariate Polynomials to identify fraudsters, so that the results are obtained, namely at the secret shering stage using Symmetric Bivariate Polynomials, at the reconstruction stage using Lagrange interpolation and using Symmetric Bivariate Polynimials with one share detection where is a random integer. Thus it can be concluded that the identification of fraudsters using Symmetric Bivariate Polynimoials is able to identify fraudsters and by using one share detection is faster in the computation process

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Untuk menganalisis perkembangan IDM tahun 2019-2023 desa Jatiwates.. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder yang akan menjelaskan mengenai perubahan status Desa Jatiwates pada tahun 2020-2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data dari skoring IDM Desa Jatiwates dari tahun 2020-2023. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan pada tahun 2019 Desa Jatiwates berstatus desa berkembang dengan nilai IDM 0,6514, pada tahun 2020 Desa Jatiwates masuk kedalam kategori maju dengan nilai 0,7460 sama halnya dengan tahun 2020 pada tahun 2021 juga memperoleh status “Maju” dengan nilai yang sama, dalam hal ini bisa dikatakan stagnan. Pada tahun 2022 skor IDM Desa Jatiwates mengalami peningkatan menjadi 0,7554 dengan status tetap yaitu “Maju” begitupun di tahun 2023 dengan skor 0,7629

No full textThis study aims to analyze the success of collaborative governance in managing parking levy administration at the Department of Transportation of Kupang City. A qualitative research method was employed, using both primary and secondary data. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis based on the collaborative governance theory proposed by Ansell and Gash. The findings indicate that the success of parking levy management is influenced by four main indicators. First, face-to-face dialogue plays a crucial role in strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and improving efficiency and effectiveness in parking services. Second, trust-building is a continuous process that requires commitment to transparency, fairness, and service quality improvement. Third, commitment to the process is a core element in achieving effective and sustainable parking management. Fourth, mutual understanding among stakeholders contributes to a more responsive, efficient, and sustainable parking management system that enhances public welfare and stakeholder satisfaction
Utilizing the Film The Founder to Improve Students’ English Listening Skills
No full textThis study explores the effectiveness of using the film The Founder as a medium to enhance the English listening skills of students in the Business English Communication (BEC) Study Program, Class of 2023. A pre-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design was employed with a sample of 65 students. Data were collected through listening comprehension tests administered before and after the film-based intervention and analyzed using SPSS 22. The pre-test yielded an average score of 37.31 (range: 5.00–85.00), while the post-test average significantly increased to 75.57 (range: 30.00–100.00). A paired sample t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between the pre- and post-test scores (p < 0.001). These findings suggest that films, particularly The Founder, serve as engaging and effective tools for improving students’ English listening comprehension. Furthermore, the relatively low standard deviation compared to the mean indicates consistent improvement across participants, reinforcing the pedagogical value of audiovisual media in EFL instruction

Psychoactive substances are a class of substances that act selectively, especially on the brain, which can cause changes in a person\u27s behavior, emotions, cognition, perception and consciousness. Alcohol is an addictive substance that can cause addiction and dependence. Alcohol addiction is a condition when a person experiences an addiction to alcohol and is difficult to control until he becomes dependent. Alcohol addiction occurs due to consuming too much alcohol so that the level is sufficient to cause mental changes and experience a sensation of satisfaction when consumed. The habit of consuming alcohol for teenagers begins due to a lack of knowledge and invitations, persuasion and seduction from friends which make a teenager want to try consuming alcohol. After getting to know and feel the sensation of consuming alcohol, a teenager gradually begins to fall into the world of alcohol and begins to increase his consumption due to the free social environment among teenagers. This research aims to build a mathematical model of SDAR type alcohol addiction. Based on the research results, two equilibrium points were obtained, namely the equilibrium point free from alcohol addiction and will be stable when and the equilibrium point where there is alcohol addiction and will be stable when . The simulation results were observed in two conditions, namely when and the value was obtained, meaning that the rate of movement from the population of teenagers who tried to consume alcohol to alcohol addiction was still small, so that teenagers who Alcohol addiction will decrease until alcoholics will disappear from the population over time. Then when and the value is obtained, meaning that the rate of movement from the population of teenagers who try to consume alcohol to alcohol addiction is increasing until there will be more and more alcoholics and will increase in the population as along the time
PEMODELAN ARMA UNTUK PERAMALAN PENJUALAN BOLPOIN PADA CV. CHAVA GRUP CABANG KEFAMENANU: Indonesia
No full textPengelolaan persediaan yang efektif memerlukan peramalan permintaan yang akurat, khususnya pada perusahaan pemasok alat tulis kantor. CV. Chava Grup Cabang Kefamenanu merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menghadapi fluktuasi permintaan bolpoin dari waktu ke waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) dalam meramalkan penjualan bolpoin sebagai dasar perencanaan persediaan. Data yang digunakan adalah data penjualan bolpoin harian selama periode Juni 2022 hingga Mei 2023 sebanyak 288 observasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan deret waktu dengan bantuan perangkat lunak R. Hasil uji stasioneritas menunjukkan bahwa data bersifat stasioner sehingga dapat dimodelkan menggunakan ARMA. Berdasarkan kriteria Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) dan uji diagnostik residual, model terbaik yang diperoleh adalah ARMA(3,3). Model tersebut digunakan untuk melakukan peramalan penjualan bolpoin selama 30 hari ke depan. Hasil peramalan menunjukkan bahwa penjualan bolpoin cenderung berfluktuasi pada periode tertentu tanpa pola tren yang jelas. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi perusahaan dalam merencanakan persediaan bolpoin secara lebih optimal dan berbasis data
Application of Technical Aspects of Animal Health in the Management of Maintenance of Beef Cattle in Seteluk District, Regency West Sumbawa
No full textThis research seeks to explore the practical implementation of technical elements regarding beef cattle farming, covering breeding, housing, nutrition, health, and management practices in Seteluk District, West Sumbawa Regency. The investigation took place in Seteluk District, West Sumbawa at the beginning of 2025. The methodology employed for this study was the survey/observation technique involving a sample size of 100 farmers. The study\u27s variables included respondent demographics, breeding practices, housing conditions, feeding practices, health-related factors, and management techniques. The findings indicated that all respondents were male at 100%, with farmers aged between 41 and 60 years, 53.00% having completed high school, breeding experience ranging from 1 to 20 years, and 99.00% primarily working as farmers. The implementation rates of technical aspects in beef cattle farming were as follows: 66.20% for reproduction, 40.80% for housing, 21.20% for feeding, 39.60% for health, and 38.20% for management. In conclusion, this study reveals that the overall technical aspects of cattle rearing in Seteluk Sub-district, West Sumbawa Regency are at a low percentage of 41.20%
INVESTIGATING THE ICT TOOLS AND PLATFORMS USED BY THE ENGLISH TEACHERS IN EFL CLASSROOMS
No full textThe development of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) significantly influences the educational landscape. In post-pandemic setting, the integration of ICT becomes essential in supporting the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. This research aimed to: (1) identify the ICT tools and platforms used by the English teachers; (2) investigate the challenges faced by the teachers; and (3) explore the teachers’ responses to the use of ICT tools and platforms in EFL classrooms. The research employed a descriptive-qualitative method, with data collected through non-participant classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with three English teachers. Based on observations and interviews, The findings revealed that: (1) the ICT tools and platforms used by the English teachers included laptops, LCD projectors, speakers, PowerPoint, Wordwall, Liveworksheet, Quizizz, Kahoot, Canva, and Learn English Kids; (2) the challenges faced by the teachers included a lack of confidence and limited experience in using specific platforms at the teacher level, while the school level challenges included limited facilities, technical issues, electricity problems, and time constraints; and (3) the strategies implemented by the teachers to overcome these challenges involved bringing personal equipment, using a whiteboard as a projector screen, conducting ice-breaking activities during technical delays, and participated in training or self-learning to improve their ICT skills. Thus, the effective use of ICT in EFL instruction relies on adequate infrastructure, teacher readiness, and a supportive learning environment for the development of more effective and contextually appropriate ICT integration strategies

No full text Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa kontestasi yang dilakukan oleh setiap calon Kepala desa yaitu Pembentuk tim sukses, menentukan target sasaran, memasang baliho dan spanduk, serta mendatangi rumah warga yang sudah dijadikan target pemilih untuk memberikan money politic. Adapun resistensi yang terjadi dalam pilkades tersebut termasuk resistensi tertutup, yaitu berupa gosip dan penyebaran citra buruk dari salah satu calon kepala desa yang tidak terpilih atau kalah dalam Pemilihan kepala desa Sabnala Kecamatan Kok,baun Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Dampak dari resistensi tersebut adalah pecahnya sebagian kalangan masyarakat dan menjadikan masyarakat terkelompok dalam dua bagian, yaitu masyarakat yang tergolong dalam kelompok pro pemerintahan desa, dan masyarakat yang kontra dengan pemerintah desa.
