The Influence of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on Mathematical Communication Skills of Tenth-Grade Students at SMAN 1 Kuok’s Students
This research was motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a Realistic Mathematic Education learning approach. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education learning approach on the mathematical communication skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. This research is a quasi-experimental study using a post-test control group design. The research subjects consisted of classes X.1, totaling 23 students, and X.2, totaling 23 students. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and mathematical communication ability test questions. The results of this research can be concluded that there is an influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education learning approach on the mathematical communication skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. This can be proven through the Independent Sample T-Test, obtaining a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.024 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted
The Goal Programming Method: Minimizing Expenses and Maximizing Assets for Optimizing the Financial Statements of Bank Syariah Indonesia
Every company, including banks, prepares financial reports as a source of information regarding a company\u27s performance and financial position. Economic reports have five essential elements: assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses. Each bank has several goals; to achieve the goal, a method is needed that can solve problems with several objectives. This study aims to apply the Goal Programming (GP) method to solve several financial goals simultaneously and analyze solutions to optimize financial reports at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Goal Programming is a multi-objective optimization technique that allows decision-makers to balance conflicting goals by prioritizing deviations from predetermined targets. This study uses GP to model BSI\u27s financial constraints and objectives: maximizing assets, minimizing liabilities, maximizing equity, maximizing income, and minimizing expenses. The solution for the GP model is calculated using Lingo software. So far, BSI has never used the Goal Programming Method to optimize financial statements, offering a new analytical framework for the bank\u27s decision-making process.he study results show that Bank BSI\u27s financial reports for 2019 to 2022 have been optimal by implementing the GP method and the assistance of Lingo software. This is indicated by all deviations being successfully minimized and achieving the target. The minimized expenses are IDR 68.012.380 million, and the maximized assets are IDR 1.018.471.648 million
Realistic Mathematics Education in the Context of Truck Tires and Marble Games in Elementary School Addition and Subtraction Material
The purpose of this study is to describe students’ activities during realistic mathematics learning using the context of trailer truck wheels and marble games in addition and subtraction material. This research employed a design research method with 23 first-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Krasak, Jepara Regency, Central Java as participants. The findings indicate that the use of trailer truck wheels as concrete media increased students’ activeness and curiosity in understanding the concept of addition. Students were able to redraw the wheels, perform calculations, and match their drawings with real objects, leading to an understanding of addition as a process of combining. Meanwhile, through the marble game, students engaged in learning while playing and understood subtraction as the process of taking away from a whole. Overall, students actively participated and successfully completed the activities, showing that real-world contexts effectively support the understanding of basic arithmetic operations
PENENTUAN KADAR FLAVONOID TOTAL EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN KABUKA (Ziziphus mauritiana Lamk)
Abstrak
Tumbuhan obat merupakan tumbuhan yang mempunyai fungsi berkhasiat sebagai obat dan digunakan untuk menyembuhkan maupun mencegah berbagai macam penyakit atau mengandung zat aktif yang bisa mengobati penyakit. Hasil eksplorasi dan identifikasi pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat Suku Dawan di Kabupaten TTU, salah satu tumbuhan obat adalah Kabuka/kom. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahu kadar flavonoid total ekstrak methanol Daun Kabuka (Ziziphus mauritiana Lamk) asal Desa Humusu C Wini, Kecamatan Insana Utara dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuersetin sebagai pembanding. Metode penelitian meliputi preparasi sampel, ekstraksi secara maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut metanol dan penentuan kadar flavonoid total. Hasil pengukuran kadar flavonoid total ekstrak metanol daun bidara diperoleh kadar flavonoid total rata-rata sebesar 4,3465 mgQE/g.

PENGGUNAAN EKSTRAK BIJI KUSAMBI (Schleichera Oleosa) SEBAGAI GREEN INHIBITOR KOROSI PADA BAJA KARBON ASTM A36 DALAM MEDIA GARAM
Penelitian ini mengenai penggunaan ekstrak biji kusambi (schleichera oleosa) sebagai green inhibitor korosi pada baja karbon Astm A36 dalam media garam telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metabolit sekuder yang terkandung dalam ekstrak biji kusambi, untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi permukaan baja karbon ASTM A36 tanpa inhibitor dan dengan inhibitor dan untuk mengetahui berapa lama waktu perendaman dan suhu optimum pada inhibisi korosi terhadap baja ASTM A36 ekstrak biji kusambi dalam media garam. Proses ekstraksi biji kusambi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi dengan menggunkan pelarut metanol. Analisis fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak biji kusambi mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, dan triterpenoid yang memiliki sifat antioksidan dan anti korosif. Analisis FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red) menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak biji kusambi mengandung gugus hidroksil O-H, gugus CH alifatik, gugus karbonil C=O, gugus C-O. Analisis SEM (Scaning electron microscopy) menunjukkan perbedaan morfologi permukaan baja yang dilapisi oleh ekstrak biji kusambi dibandigkan dengan baja yang tidak dilapisi, terlihat bahwa permukaan baja yang dilapisi ekstrak biji kusambi lebih tertutup dibandingkan dengan baja yang tidak dilapisi ekstrak biji kusmabi walaupun masih ada gumpalan dan lubang-lubang kecil yang tidak merata. Hasil optimum pada proses inhibisi korosi didapatkan pada waktu perendaman 9 hari dengan efisiensi inhibisi sebesar 88,19% dan laju korosi sebesar 0,8819 mmpy dan pada suhu 30oC dengan efisiensi inhibisi sebesar 88,40% dan laju korosi sebesar 0,8840 mmpy.
PENGGUNAAN EKSTRAK BIJI KUSAMBI (Schleichera oleosa) SEBAGAI INHIBITOR KOROSI PADA BAJA ASTM A36 DALAM MEDIA ASAM
Korosi merupakan proses degradasi dari material logam yang disebabkan oleh reaksi elektrokimia logam dengan lingkungannya. Proses korosi menyebabkan penurunan sifat mekanik logam sehingga dapat menyebabkan kerugian dalam aspek ekonomi dan keselamatan. Salah satu material yang mengalami korosi yaitu baja ASTM A36. Laju korosi logam akibat pengaruh lingkungan tidak bisa dihentikan namun lajunya dapat dikurangi. Salah satu solusi pencegahan korosi yang sangat populer adalah dengan cara penambahan zat inhibitor yang diperoleh dari ekstraksi bahan alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan inhibitor dari biji Kusambi dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung dalam ekstrak biji Kusambi yang didapatkan dengan cara ekstraksi maserasi dengan pelarut metanol, untuk mengetahui kondisi optimum (waktu perendaman dan suhu), serta analisis FTIR untuk mengetahui gugus fungsi. Hasil analisis fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol biji kusambi (Schleichera oleosa) mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid dan triterpenoid. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengurangan berat yang dilakukan dengan cara merendam logam ke dalam media HCl tanpa inhibitor, dan dengan inhibitor dilakukan dengan cara di coating lalu direndam dalam media HCl, dengan memvariasikan waktu perendaman yaitu 3, 6, 9, 12 dan 15 hari dan suhu 30oC, 35oC, 40oC, 45oC dan 50oC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimum pada proses inhibisi korosi didapatkan pada waktu perendaman 6 hari dengan efisiensi inhibisi sebesar 90,62% dan laju korosi sebesar 0,1059 mm/tahun dan pada suhu 35oCdengan laju efisiensi inhibisi sebesar 77,77% dan laju korosi 0,0697 mm/tahun.

Etnobotani merupakan cabang ilmu biologi yang mengkaji berbagai manfaat tumbuhan berdasarkan kearifan-kearifan lokal yang dimiliki suatu komunitas masyarakat. Pekarangan digambarkan sebagai sebidang tanah yang mempunyai batas-batas tertentu dimana, terdapat bangunan untuk tempat tinggal atau rumah serta mempunyai hubungan fungsional, baik secara ekonomi, biofisik, maupun sosial budaya dengan penghuninya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan, bentuk pemanfaatan tumbuhan serta nilai budaya tumbuhan yang ditanam dipekarangan rumah dan kebun Suku Binaisuri. Insidince of Viral Infection and Relationship with Cat Husbandry Practices after Covid-19 Pandemi in Citrapet and Vet
The trend that occurred during the pandemic persisted after the Covid-19 pandemic where many people kept cats. The cat population has increased after the pandemic. Cat owners have returned to their previous activities and this condition affects their cat care practices after the pandemi. Purpose of this study was to describe the correlation between the incidence of viral infections and cat husbandry practices after the Covid-19 pandemi. This study used medical records of cat patients who came to Citrapet and Vet with viral diagnoses and 100 cat owner respondents using structured questionnaires. Cases of viral infections that occurred at Citrapet and Vet were included in the small category of 179 cases with a percentage of 0.033%. The cause of this small category of viral infection cases is the cat maintenance practices carried out by cat owners in Citrapet and vet. Parameters that are the reference include; vaccination, maintenance methods, administration of antiparasitic drugs, and medical checkup. Results of the respondents show that almost all cat owners in Citrapet and Vet understand how to perform cat maintenance practices properly and correctly. One of the parameters as a reference, namely vaccination, showed results with 88% of cats coming to Citrapet and Vet being vaccinated. This shows that vaccination can reduce the incidence of viral infections. Statistical calculations showed a significant correlation between cat husbandry practices and the incidence of viral infections in post-pandemi pet cats
Javanese Script Reading and Writing Training with Ular Tangga Media for Elementary School-Age Children at Sanggar Pelangi Surakarta
The use of Javanese script in Javanese communication is increasingly experiencing an alarming degradation. Appropriate preservation strategies need to be implemented so that Javanese characters can be preserved and widely used again. The right effort is to carry out training in reading and writing Javanese script to the younger generation. The training activities are adapted to the cognitive level of the subject, namely learning while playing. This training was conducted at Sanggar Pelangi Surakarta with elementary school-age children as the subjects. The purpose of the training is to introduce and educate the younger generation to be able to read and write Javanese characters properly and correctly. The training was conducted with the help of ular tangga media which is recognized as accurate in optimizing the absorption of material for elementary school-age children. The training was carried out with the stages of preparation, delivery of material, playing ular tangga modified by including Javanese script elements, working on LKDP, and filling out questionnaires. The result was a significant increase in the trainees\u27 understanding of how to read and write Javanese characters properly and correctly
