    Development of Nearpod Geometry Learning Media to Enhance Student’s Visual-Spatial Ability

    This research is motivated by the lack of relevant learning media for use in schools. The media currently used still includes worksheets, textbooks, and very limited visual aids. The purpose of this research is to develop Neargo (Nearpod Geometry) based learning media that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students\u27 spatial visual abilities in seventh-grade geometry material. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The subjects of the research were students of class VII E at SMP Negeri 3 Sumber. Data collection techniques included test instruments and questionnaires, with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of validation by material experts showed a percentage of 86.67%, while validation by media experts obtained a percentage of 90.83%. The student response questionnaires showed an average of 97%, and the teacher response questionnaires showed a percentage of 95%, both in the very practical category. The average N-Gain result was 0.856, indicating a high improvement in the use of the developed learning media. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that Neargo learning media is valid, practical, and effective in improving students\u27 spatial visual abilities in geometry material in mathematics learning

    Implementation of the Collaborative Character in Learning Basic Concepts of Plane Figures Through the Kweritop Game

    This research explores the influence of using the traditional game Kweritop on students\u27 collaborative character in understanding the concept of plane figures in mathematics learning at junior high schools in Merauke Regency. This research used an experimental design with two groups: the experimental group that applied the Kweritop game and the control group that used the conventional lecture method. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure students\u27 cooperative character, which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the Mann-Whitney statistical test showed a significant difference between the two groups, where the experimental group showed a higher cooperation rating than the control group. These findings indicate that the Kweritop game can increase student involvement and improve the character of cooperation in mathematics learning so that it can be an effective alternative in local culture-based learning

    A Systematic Literature Review of: Computational Thinking in Mathematics Classrooms

    In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, the ability to think computationally is no longer confined to computer science it has become essential across disciplines, including mathematics. This study integrates computational thinking (CT) into mathematics learning by analyze its development, benefits, and implementation challenges. Computational thinking which includes abstraction, algorithms, decomposition, and pattern recognition, is considered a crucial component in improving students\u27 mathematical learning. These insights are intended to inform educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to align mathematics instruction with contemporary technological and pedagogical advancements. Utilizing a systemic literature review as a qualitative method, by 37 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 and 2024 in the Scopus database were examined. Through qualitative thematic analysis, key insights were identified across cognitive and affective dimensions. The review suggests that CT may support students’ development in problem-solving, logical reasoning, and conceptual abstraction, while also contributing to affective aspects such as motivation, self-confidence, and self-regulated learning. However, several barriers hinder its effective implementation, including insufficient teacher training, limited infrastructure, and curricular constraints. The study highlights the necessity for targeted teacher training initiatives and institutional support to facilitate CT integration

    Sumber energi yang paling banyak digunakan saat ini adalah energi fosil. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan energi fosil semakin hari semakin menipis. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan bioetanol sebagai alternatif sumber energi baru dan terbarukan. Bioetanol pada dasarnya adalah etanol yang dibuat dari biomasa (tanaman) melalui proses biologis (enzimatik atau fermentasi). Salah satu biomassa atau tanaman yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bioetanol yaitu makroaga Ulva reticulata karena memiliki kandungan karbohidrat yang cukup besar yaitu sebanyak 52,4%. Pada penelitian ini, makroalga Ulva reticulata dihidrolisis menggunakan microwave pada suhu 150 0C selama 50 menit menggunakan katalis HCl 1%, dilanjutkan dengan fermentasi selama 7 hari. Selanjutnya, dilakukan destilasi menggunakan destilasi bertingkat. Kadar gula pereduksi padaa hidrolisat dianalisis dengan metode DNS menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV–Vis pada panjang gelombang 540 nm. Etanol hasil destilasi dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan larutan kalium dikromat dan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan Gas Chomatography (GC). Hasil pada penelitian ini diperoleh kadar gula pereduksi sebesar 101,04 g/L pada waktu optimum 50 menit. Hasil uji kualitatif dengan kalium dikromat menunjukkan adanya etanol pada sampel ditandai dengan perubahan warna dari jingga menjadi biru. Hasil uji kuantitatif menggunakan Gas chromatography (GC) pada sampel makroalga Ulva reticulata diperoleh kadar etanol sebesar 24,58%

    English Training Based on Interactive Learning and Character Education at SMAN 1 Nan Sabaris

    This community service program, designed as English training based on interactive learning and character education, aims to enhance both language competence and character development of high school students in preparing for global challenges. The program was conducted over two months through eight online sessions and supported by eight months of intensive mentoring via WhatsApp groups. The training materials integrated Indonesian cultural elements and global issues while instilling the CERMAT character values (Intelligent, Energetic, Brave, Diligent, Millennial, Noble Morals, and Responsible). Evaluation results indicate that the program successfully met participants’ expectations, particularly through interactive learning methods and continuous mentoring that addressed students’ needs. Significant improvements were observed in English skills, including listening, speaking, grammar, writing, and vocabulary, as well as in character aspects such as self-confidence, responsibility, cooperation, and courtesy. With its holistic approach, the program not only strengthened students’ linguistic competence but also fostered positive character development, thereby better preparing them to face challenges at national and global levels. Recommendations for future implementation include greater flexibility in duration and diversification of materials to optimize effectiveness and sustain students’ learning motivation

    Proyeksi Kelahiran Bayi Menggunakan Metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton dan Milne-Simpson di Kecamatan Bikomi Tengah

    Proyeksi kelahiran bayi merupkan salah satu aspek penting dalam perencanaan kependudukan dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproyeksikan jumlah kelahiran bayi di Desa Oenenu, Kecamatan Bikomi Tengah, menggunakan metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton dan Milne-Simpson. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah kelahiran bayi menggunakan metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton pada Tahun 2024 sebanyak 33,20711 jiwa dengan errornya 0,704 x 10^(-3) dan pada Tahun 2025 sebanyak 39,38919 jiwa dengan errornya 0,89 x 10^(-3) sedangkan hasil penelitian dengan metode Milne-Simpson  menunjukan bahwa jumlah kelahiran bayi pada Tahun 2024 sebanyak 33,21803 jiwa dengan errornya 0,70 x 10^(-3) dan pada Tahun 2025 sebanyak 39,37006 dengan erronnya 0,14 x 10^(-3). Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan kedua metode menunjukkan bahwa metode Adams-Bashforth-Moulton memiliki tingkat akurasi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode Milne-Simpson.     This research starts from the lack of history teaching in formal educational institutions that deeply discusses the relationship between the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, which has led to various ethnic and religious conflicts. Based on this issue, the objective of this research is to find the historical connection between NKRI and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and analyze efforts to implement multicultural education through a cultural history approach as a way to strengthen the nationalism spirit of the younger generation. To obtain in-depth analysis results, the researcher uses a qualitative method with a historical approach and literature review data collection technique. The research findings show that the kinship between the people of East Nusa Tenggara, NKRI, and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste is based on common ancestors. However, the consequence of the large-scale exodus of the pro-integration East Timorese people to NKRI in 1999 has led to various social problems. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen the spirit of nationalism through the implementation of multicultural education using a cultural history approach between the people of NKRI and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste

    Rumen Fermentation Quality and Invitro Digestibility of Palm Frond Silage With The Addition of Tofu Pulp and Corn Bran

    Palm frond leaves have the potential to be used as ruminant feed in the form of silage with the addition of tofu and corn pulp flour as an effort to improve the quality of silage products.  The purpose of the study was to assess the fermentation quality and invitro digestibility of palm frond silage supplemented with tofu and corn bagasse flour. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 5 replicates arranged, namely: P0 = 100%  palm fronds; P1 = 100% palm fronds + 5% molasses; P2 = 100% palm fronds + 5% tofu pulp + 5% corn f bran + 5% molasses; P3 = 100%  palm fronds + 10% tofu pulp + 10% corn bran + 5% molasses and P4 = 100% palm fronds + 15% tofu pulp + 15% corn  bran + 5% molasses. Parameters observed included NH3 production (mM), total VFA (mM), DMD (%) and DMO (%). The results showed that supplementation of tofu dregs flour and corn flour with various proportions affected the rumen fermentation value and invitro digestibility (P<0.05) of palm frond silage. The higher the addition of tofu dregs flour and corn bran had an effect on increasing rumen fermentability and overall invitro digestibility. The conclusion of this research is that treatment P4 = 100% palm fronds + 15% tofu dregs + 15% corn bran + 5% molasses is able to improve the quality of rumen fermentation and invitro digestibility of palm frond silag

    Socioeconomics Transformation Through IoT and Deep Learning-Based Digitalization: Enhancing Investment Attractiveness in the Livestock Sector

    Digital transformation through the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and deep learning technologies can revolutionize the livestock sector, particularly in the areas surrounding Indonesia\u27s New Capital City (IKN). This study evaluates the role of IoT and deep learning in enhancing productivity and investment appeal within the livestock sector by adopting IoT-based monitoring systems and deep learning algorithms. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach with a case study method, involving 25 stakeholders, including farmers, government officials, technology developers, and investors. The findings demonstrate that implementing IoT-based monitoring systems and deep learning algorithms significantly improves operational efficiency by reducing manual labor, optimizing feeding schedules, and enabling real-time livestock health monitoring. These advancements have increased productivity, profit margins, and investor confidence. Digitalization fosters socioeconomic development by creating job opportunities, enhancing market access, and empowering local communities. The study concludes that integrating these advanced technologies transforms livestock farming practices and positions the sector as a strategic area for sustainable and inclusive investment. It is recommended that future policy frameworks prioritize the development of digital infrastructure and human resource training to ensure widespread adoption and long-term impact. This research underscores the importance of digital agriculture as a core pillar in advancing Indonesia\u27s smart city agenda and rural economic transformation

    Isolation of the bacteria that cause mastitis in dairy cows on farms in Yogyakarta

    Mastitis merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri dan pada umum menyerang ternak perah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya, terdapat perbedaan jenis bakteri penyebab mastitis di setiap daerah. Mengidentifikasi bakteri penyebab mastitis perlu dilakukan agar penyakit ini dapat ditangani dengan cepat, tepat, efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri yang berpotensi menyebabkan mastitis di salah satu peternakan sapi perah di Yogyakarta. Pengujian California Mastitis Test dilakukan sebelum pengambilan sampel susu. Sampel susu yang menunjukkan hasil positif tiga kemudian diambil untuk diisolasi bakteri yang ada di dalamnya. Sampel susu yang berasal dari sapi yang terkena mastitis di peternakan tersebut diinolulasikan ke dalam bood agar, isolat yang tumbuh kemudian diinokulasikan kembali untuk selanjutnya dilakukan beberapa pengujian, seperti pewarnaan Gram, uji katalase, uji motilitas dan identifikasi menggunakan PCR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua isolat dominan yang dihasilkan menunjukkan ciri – ciri berwarna ungu, berbentuk bulat, hasil uji katalase negatif dan hasil uji motilitas juga negatif. Hasil identifikasi menggunakan PCR menunjukkan bahwa kemungkinan spesies bakteri yang berhasil diisolasi adalah Streptococcus agalactiae, Bacillus cereus ,Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus wiedmannii, dan Endophytic bacterium. Streptococcus agalactiae dan Bacillus cereus merupakan bakteri dominan yang berhasil diisolasi dan kedua bakteri tersebut berpotensi sebagai penyebab mastitis pada peternakan di daerah Yogyakarta
