THE INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE MEDIATED BY EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN NURSES AT DIAN HUSADA HOSPITAL, MOJOKERTO
This research aims to analyze the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) possessed by nurses at Dian Husada Hospital Mojokerto, whether it is able to influence Employee Engagement and Employee Performance so that it improves the performance of Dian Husada Hospital Mojokerto. The sample used in this research was 80 nurses taken using the convenience sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is adapted to the research conceptual framework. The results of this research are that OCB has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement, OCB has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Employee Engagement has no effect on Employee Performance, and OCB has no significant effect on Employee Performance mediated by Employee Engagement.Keywords: Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Employee Engagement, Employee Performanc
THE INFLUENCE OF CLASSICAL MUSIC THERAPY AND LAVENDER AROMATHERAPY CANDLE ON ANXIETY LEVELS DURING THE FIRST STAGE OF ACTIVE LABOR
Childbirth is eagerly anticipated by married couples, yet it can lead to anxiety due to its intense nature. Therefore, support from spouses, families, and the community is crucial for the well-being of both mother and child. This study aims to explore the impact of classical music therapy and lavender aromatherapy on anxiety levels during active labor\u27s first phase. Using a pre-experimental quantitative approach, the research employs a one-group pretest-posttest design, focusing on mothers in active labor\u27s first phase in the Ballaparang health center area. Sampling involved 44 third-trimester pregnant women selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis utilized the Wilcoxon test. Findings revealed that prior to intervention, most respondents experienced moderate anxiety (47.7%), while after intervention, the majority experienced mild anxiety (45.5%). Bivariate analysis indicated a significant influence of classical music therapy and lavender aromatherapy on reducing anxiety levels among mothers in active labor\u27s first phase, with a p-value of 0.000. Pre-test anxiety scores were higher than post-test scores, suggesting a decrease in anxiety levels following intervention
FULFILLING THE NEEDS OF THE ELDERLY TOWARDS THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE ELDERLY IN THE HEALTH CENTER AREA
The increasing age of the elderly experiences biological, physical, psychological and social changes. This change will impact all aspects of life, including health. This is because as you get older, the function of your body\u27s organs will decrease, either due to natural factors or disease. Analytical survey research that tries to explore the influence of fulfilling the needs of the elderly on the quality of life of the elderly. The research method uses a cross sectional design. The needs of the elderly affect the quality of life of the elderly. It can be seen from the physical condition of the elderly that almost all of them experience quality physical condition. The psychological condition of the elderly is in good condition and of good quality. Conditions for elderly social interactions run well and are of good quality. The coverage of the elderly\u27s social environment is very good for the quality of life of the elderly in the Community Health Center area with a sample size of 128 elderly. Research results The characteristics of the elderly in this study consisted of the majority of male respondents, 63 (65.8%) of the total 128 elderly respondents studied. There were several qualities of the elderly studied. The life of the elderly is seen from the physical condition of the elderly as many as 78 (60.9%), The quality of life of the elderly is seen from the psychological condition with the quality category being 102 (79.6%) elderly. There are several qualities of life for the elderly seen from the quality of the social interaction of the elderly as many as 108 elderly (84.3%), some of the quality of life of the elderly is seen from the quality of the social environment of the elderly as many as 96 (75%
ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS AS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN INDONESIAN HEALTH SERVICES 4.0
The application of Electronic Medical Record in the era of Digital Transformation Indonesia 4.0 is the main pillar in revolutionizing health services. EMR presents a fundamental shift in medical information management by replacing traditional medical records with integrated electronic forms. Thus, this makes quickly access and share patient data, improve coordination between providers, and inform more accurate clinical decision making. This study aims to systematically review the implementation Digital Transformation in Indonesian as a planning to achieve Health Services 4.0. This study implements systematic reviews using Preferred Reporting Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) approach. Research articles published from google scholar, PubMed and sagepub. To take appropriate and relevant article research, relevant keywords or terms are constructed as the following words: Digital transformation OR digital revolution OR digital 4.0; Health services OR health care OR Health facilities; Digital medical records. 30 articles were collected from: Google Scholar, PubMed and Sagepub. The quality of these articles was evaluated, resulting in 7 articles being synthesized in the final literature review report.The results show that EMR analyzes in-depth data, supports the development of evidence-based health policies, and personalizes care according to patient characteristics. The adoption of EMR also presents challenges, including data security and privacy protection where cybersecurity and regulatory compliance are critical
COMBINATION EFFECT AMONG GIVING TRIPOD POSITION AND PURSED LIP BREATHING TO RESPIRATION RATE IN CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE (COPD) PATIENTS
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of a combination of tripod position and pursed lip breathing on respiration rate in COPD patients at Bangil Hospital. In this study, a pre-experimental method was used to determine the effect of giving a combination of tripod position and pursed lip breathing on respiration rate in COPD patients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan. The population in this study were all COPD patients at Bangil Hospital Pasuruan in June 2021 as many as 30 people. The sampling technique in this study was consecutive sampling. The sample used in this study were some COPD patients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan. From the results of the research above, there are differences in the decrease in respiration rate , this can be caused by differences in the accuracy of respondents when doing pursed lip breathing , respondents who can do it correctly will get better results in reducing respiration rate . It can be concluded that there is an effect of giving a combination of tripod position and pursed lip breathing on respiration rate in COPD patients at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan
The KNOWLEDGE AND PREPAREDNESS IN DEALING WITH EARTHQUAKE DISASTER IN NURSING STUDENTS IN SURABAYA AND BANGKALAN
Introduction : Knowledge in dealing with disasters is one part of disaster mitigation in the application of disaster preparedness in the campus environment. The death toll from an earthquake will increase along with the knowledge of the community and the level of preparedness they have. This study aims to see the significance of the relationship between knowledge and student preparedness in dealing with earthquake disasters in the campus environment.
Method : Research design with descriptive correlational cross sectional approach. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique random sampling The research sample was 237 students at STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya & STIKES NHM with questionnaires in the period of June- July 2022. Test data analysis using ChiSquare.
Results The results showed that the majority of STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya students had good knowledge of 205 (86.9%) and moderate preparedness of 226 (95.4%). Statistical test results show the value of ρ=0.011 (ρ<α=0.05) which means that knowledge has a close relationship with preparedness in the face of earthquakes.
Conclusion The implications of this research can be concluded that increasing knowledge is an important part of mitigation in increasing preparedness in the campus environment in dealing with disaster threats, especially earthquakes in particular
INDICATORS OF COMPLIANCE PRESSURE FOR NURSE IN IMPLEMENTING PROCEDURES : A QUALITATIVE APPROACH
Various rules and regulations applied by hospital management haven\u27t fully warranted nurse compliance in performing standard procedures. Evidence suggests that there was a high level of an adverse event, as phlebitis, infection, and the incidence of risk of falling. The purpose of this research was to find indicators of compliance pressure for nurses in implementing procedur. This study used a phenomenological qualitative study and in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 respondents, taking into account the selection criteria of respondents. Semi-structured questions were delivered to all participants which explored their experience in implementing and complying with procedures. Analyzes thematically, taking into account the results of the field notes. Findings were that Rules and policies, Standard procedures, Communication, Corrections, and confirmations, Accreditation Standards, Professional Standards, Value, and Co-worker support are indicators of compliance pressure for nurses in implementing procedures. It can be concluded that the eight indicators of compliance pressure are appropriate controls and complement the regulatory pillars and normative pillars in building nurse compliance in carrying out procedures
BODY MASS INDEX STATUS WITH HYPERTENSION
Hypertension is the leading cause of premature death in the world. It does not only attack the productive age but also attacks the elderly. Hypertension is known as "The Silent Killer" because it is often without complaints and there are complications. Body Mass Index (BMI) is very influential on blood pressure. Abnormal BMI has twice the chance of experiencing hypertension and triggers higher risk factors for hypertension than normal people. This research aims to determine the relationship between BMI and the incidence of hypertension in Ngablak Hamlet, Sitimulyo Piyungan Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional research design. Sampling used the Accidental Sampling technique with 30 respondents based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Measuring instruments used to collect BMI data were weight scales and height measuring devices (cm) and measuring instruments used to measure blood pressure are stethoscopes and sphygmomannometers. Measurements consisted of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, weight, and height. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 16.0 program. The results of this research showed a significance value of 0.044 (p <0.05). thus, there was a significant relationship between BMI and the incidence of hypertension in Ngablak Hamlet, Sitimulyo Piyungan Village, Bantul Yogyakarta
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANEMIA INCIDENCE IN PREGNANT MOTHERS AND LOW BIRTH WEIGHT BABY DELIVERY
Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells (erythrocytes) is less than it should be even though red blood cells contain hemoglobin which is responsible for distributing nutrients and oxygen throughout the body Anemia in pregnancy can cause miscarriage, premature birth, low birth weight, bleeding before and after childbirth can even cause death of mother and child. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the incidence of anemia in pregnant women and LBW births at UPT Puskesmas Kaliorang in 2023. This research is a type of analytic observational research with a retrospective approach. The population in this study were pregnant women at UPT Puskesmas Kaliorang. The number in this study was 15 people, the sampling technique used was total sampling. The instruments in this study were observation sheets, medical records, laboratory results sheets. Data analysis using chi-square. The results of statistical tests using the Chi-square test on the variable anemia with LBW incidence showed that the p-value = 0.001 and the Odds Ratio value (OR = 27.500). There is a relationship between the incidence of anemia in pregnant women and LBW births with a risk level of 27 times greater. Anemia can be prevented by consuming a balanced nutritious diet with sufficient intake of iron to meet the body\u27s needs. Iron can be obtained by consuming meat (especially red meat) such as beef
The Adolescent’s sexual behavior and its correlates: A Systematic Review
Abstract
Adolescents aged 13-15 years are a group vulnerable to risky sexual behavior. Many studies have been conducted to find the factors that influence it. This paper aims to analyze scientific evidence of factors that influence adolescent sexual behavior from various research results. The study design was a literature review on the adolescent population. Researchers conducted a literature search from empirical studies spanning the years 2017-2022 identified through the Scopus, Ebscohost, Science direct, Sage, Proquest, Springer Link and Google Scholar databases. The initial search found 8399 articles, which were narrowed down to 14 articles through inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The study includes research with various quantitative and qualitative designs taken from several countries. The data were analyzed using a qualitative synthesis approach. The results of the analysis show that there are many factors related to risky sexual behavior in adolescents. These factors are grouped into 4 major groups. Interpersonal factors (the role of peers), social environmental factors (economic activities, tourist interests, social norms,), individual factors (biological responses, ignorance, knowledge, lack of information, religious understanding, attitudes, self-esteem, motivation, use of social media), family factors (social economy, closeness of parents, communication between parents and children).
