Zest for Living in Children and "Competence in Listening" for Teachers
Get PDFThis Study aims at examining two points. The first aim is to clarify the meaning of the term"zest for living "(IKIRUCHIKARA) which is used in the "Report of the Central Council for Education"(1996). It is the author's belief that, despite the importance given this phrase in thecurrent course of study, it is in fact ambiguous. The second aim is to examine the relationship between the former term and"competence in listening"for teachers. The following results were uncovered. First, the"zest for living"in children involves not only practical meaning but also spiritual, or existential, meaning. If so, the term may be more carefully used for all children. The results are asfollows;1) The food and the wine offered to the gods or the "Eggplant Festival" were consisted of raw food and "Jukusen". The former includes eggplants grown "in twins", rice,the other vegetables, fruit, salt and liquor, and the latter includes eggplants cooked in miso soup, "Kyo", and "Shitogi".2) All of the ingredients of raw food and "Jukusen". were collected and cooked by `the local people who are helped by the gods. Get PDFAt the international Club Valdai meeting whose participants were domestic and foreign scholars, journalists, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated as follows. "The world changed practically straight following these events [Georgian Conflict], for Russia, August 8, 2008 is almost like September 11, 2001 for the United States. There are regions in which Russia has interests. We will defend our interests." Concerning the Kremlin's conduct in the former Soviet spaces, Moscow requests political support from CIS [The Commonwealth of Independent States], CSTO [The Collective Security Treaty Organization] and SCO [The Shanghai Cooperation Organization]. Moscow insists that the correlations among these three Organizations, including the military realm, should be strengthened. At the same time, Moscow has tried to enlarge and deepen the military cooperation between Russia and the other CSTO member states which are under the influence of Moscow. Without doubt, Russia's intention is maintaining its "traditional sphere of interests" and eliminating the influence of NATO from that sphere, in other words, enclosing the CIS countries by military means as well as politico-economical means. Moscow has not yet completed to build the security relationship between Russia and the other former Soviet countries, even though 17 years has pasted since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Get PDF栄養士養成課程では栄養教諭養成課程を併設しているところが多い.その栄養教諭養成課程では学校教育法に基づく「情報機器の操作」を必修科目としている.これは,情報機器を活用して専門科目である栄養教育や栄養指導などの授業を行う教授法の知識や教育技術を修得するためである.また,一般的な教職系演習ではその学習形態がグループ学習によって,学習者間の相互的,協調的な学習方法として行われていることが多い.しかし,グループ学習の弊害は学習者の担当する作業内容やモチベーションによっては,本来必要とする教育・指導技術が身に付かないまま,教育実習や臨地・校外実習(給食の運営等)へ行くことが危惧される.学習者の活動が受動的にならないような環境を整備し,教育・指導技術を修得する際には,自らの不得意な部分を自覚できる方法を検討した1).本研究では,学習者が自ら教育法や指導法を身に付けられるよう実践した取り組みおよびその経過を報告する.5KJ00006239319論文journal articl
The Establishment of Watarai Prefecture and the Division of the Kikunimuro Region
Get PDFWatarai-fu, established in 1868, was reorganized into Watarai Prefecture after the establishment of prefectures in place of feudal domains, and Watarai Prefecture later developed into Mie Prefecture. In the process of that, the privilege of the Ise Shrine Territory-the right of self-government for Uji and Yamada towns built in front of the inner and the outer shrine of Ise-was reformed. As well the modern system that had been formed in the South Ise Region by the Kishu feudal clans was also subdivided. At that time the Kiikumano Region was divided in two by the Kumano River and one of its tributaries, the Kitayama River. The right side of the region belonged to Wakayama Prefecture and the left side belonged to Watarai Prefecture. A Study of the Recent Issues on Teacher Training and Education of Universities and Colleges of Education in Japan
Get PDFThis paper considers some areas of expertise that teachers are expected to possess for a teacher certificate : special expertise in subjects, special expertise in the teaching profession, and general education. Special expertise in the subjects involves not only knowledge of one's own field but also knowledge of different kinds of schools and teaching environments. Thus, these must be seen as different than specialized knowledge in universities and colleges of education. Special expertise in the teaching profession includes knowledge of class management and other skills acquired through on the spot experience. The area of general education is thought to be socially universal education. In addition, adopting long-term social experiences is also considered meaningful for teacher training and education. Though a teacher certificate requires that licentiates possess some areas of expertise in balance, there are some concerns with the present system. One of them is the teacher training system. Recently in Japan, the increasing convergence of teacher education means its discussion and arguments have much wider relevance. This paper begins by outlining the recent issues concerning the teacher training system. It goes on to document the policy developments that have challenged the traditional system and thought on teacher education mainly in national universities and colleges of education in place from the 1990s until the early 2000s. It cannot be denied that these developments are linked to the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, Culture and Technology's concern to reform the public sector through marketization and increased surveillance by the state. Also, there is a need to acknowledge a connection with the failure of universities and colleges of education to deliver what society required of them under traditional professionalism.The Japan Association of Universities of Education will take the steps, instigated by reforms from the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, Culture and Technology and the Central Council for Education over the last decade, to move toward a national curriculum of teacher training and education. This paper concludes that the teacher's ability greatly influences the quality of education in schools. We cannot overlook the relationship between a teacher's skills and knowledge and the development of schools that foster learning and study. Water for Living in Southern Turkey
Get PDFThis paper will examine sustainable water-resource protection in the arid region of southern Turkey. Usage and quality of water for living were investigated. Waterworks were created in the region and they have been managed relatively well. In south-eastern Anatolia, however, there were some towns where tap water was stored in tanks because of low hydraulic pressure. The water of those areas showed high concentrations of NO3-. Meanwhile in the Mediterranean area, water registered a remarkable hardness of more than 315 mg/L with high concentration of SO4-2. NH4+, K+ and/or PO4-3 were detected in many of the samples in the investigated regions.
