A Study of Modern Foreign Language Policy in England --Concentrating on the Introduction of an Entitlement to Language Learning for Every Pupil throughout Key Stage 2 (7-11year)
In England, there has been no statutory requirement to teach a modern foreign language at primary schools. One of the key elements of the National Languages Strategy (2002) was a commitment to introduce an entitlement to language learning for every pupil throughout Key Stage 2 (7-11 year). To support this aim, the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has been working with key partners to produce a Key Stage 2 Framework for Languages. In addition, the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) was also conducting research on behalf of DCSF to assess the nature and extent of language learning provision at Key Stage 2 at schools in England. As a result, languages will become a statutory requirement of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2. In order to fulfill this entitlement, schools will be required to introduce languages progressively by year group from September 2011, starting with Year 3. However, a new government announces on June 2010 that "we" do not intend to implement to a new primary curriculum from September 2011, and also decides not to proceed with the proposed level descriptions which were due to come into force for Key Stage 3 from September 2011.9KJ00006921199研究論文Research Paperjournal articl

Why Is It Thought Japanese Is Vague? (2) --An Examination of Japanese Particles--
Research Paperjournal articl
