    Experimental Study of Screw Withdrawal in Acacia Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT)

    This study examines the screw withdrawal strength in Acacia Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) using screws of 5 mm diameter. CLT, typically made from softwoods, is gaining interest with hardwoods like Acacia for enhanced structural performance. The study evaluated screw withdrawal resistance across face, edge, and end grain orientations, following EN 1382 standards. The results showed that the face grain orientation exhibited the highest average withdrawal strength of 6.7 kN with a specific strength of 10.6 N/mm², while the edge grain had 6.5 kN and 10.3 N/mm². The end grain had the lowest strength with an average of 4.0 kN and 6.3 N/mm². Additionally, higher wood density was found to increase withdrawal strength, with heavier samples showing greater performance. These findings emphasize Acacia’s potential for structurally optimized CLT applications

    Study on Public Satisfaction With Using Public Facilities (Kebun Bunga Stadium Complex, Medan City)

    Rapid urban growth demands the availability of comfortable, safe, and functional public open spaces as part of the quality of life for urban communities. The Kebun Bunga Stadium Complex in Medan is one such public space used for various social, sports, and recreational activities. This study uses the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods to evaluate the level of public satisfaction with the utilization of public facilities at the Kebun Bunga Stadium Complex. Primary data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 130 randomly selected respondents. The results of the importance analysis (MIS) identified the highest importance values, reflecting the most dominant customer expectations or perceptions, in terms of comfort with very high importance (up to 4.64), visitor activities receiving significant attention (up to 4.61), and sociability, which respondents rated as very important (up to 4.59). This confirms that comfort and visitor activities are the primary focus areas that need to be addressed and improved to meet visitor expectations. The analysis results showed a CSI value of 76.89%, which falls into the “satisfied” category. However, based on the IPA mapping, several important attributes were identified, such as inadequate gym facilities, cleanliness and comfort, as well as access to public transportation and dedicated pathways for people with disabilities, which are not yet adequate. These are the main focus areas because they have a high level of importance but low performance. The results of this study serve as the basis for recommendations for the government to improve the management and service of public facilities, thereby providing optimal comfort and satisfaction for the community

    Efektivitas Media Flashcard terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Sekolah Dasar: Sebuah Kajian Literatur

    This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of flashcard media in improving elementary school students’ reading abilities between 2021 and 2025. Using the PRISMA systematic review framework, 168 relevant articles were selected and synthesized from Google Scholar and Crossref databases. The findings consistently demonstrate that flashcards are effective in enhancing early reading skills, particularly letter recognition, decoding, fluency, and reading motivation. Flashcards provide a dual visual-verbal stimulus that strengthens the association between form, sound, and meaning. Supporting factors include structured teaching design, teacher competence, sufficient practice frequency, and digital media integration, while limitations involve small samples, short intervention durations, and limited experimental controls. Compared with digital or game-based media, flashcards are simpler and effective for foundational reading, though digital media offer higher motivation and retention. Future studies should adopt stronger experimental designs and explore long-term comprehension effects. This review highlights the strategic role of flashcards in early literacy instruction and offers insights for teachers and educational researchers.     Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan book Creator terhadap kompetensi mengajar guru pendidikan anak usia dini pada era digital. Penggunaan media ini sangat diperlukan untuk menghasilkan proses pemebelajaran yang yang menarik dan sesuai dengan aspek perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner bersakla likert yang dibagiakn kepada 16 guru pendidikan anak usia dini di daerah Purwakarta dan Bekasi yang telah memahami serta pernah mengimplementasikan bookcreator dalam pembelajaran. Data di analisis menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS edisi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan book creator dan kompetensi mengajar guru, tercermin dari koefiseiensi R sebesar 0.748 dan R Squer sebesar 0.559. ini berarti 55,9% variasi dalam kemampuan mengajar dapat di jelaskan oleh intensitas pemanfaatan book creator. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa book creator bukan hanya sekedar media pembelajaran interaktif, tetapi juga berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kompetensi kemampuan guru dalam merancang, melaksanakan, dan mengevalusia kegiatan pembalajaran.     Pemetaan Kemampuan Matematis Peserta International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest Menggunakan K-Means Clustering

    Heterogenitas kemampuan matematis siswa Indonesia memerlukan pendekatan berbasis data untuk merancang pembelajaran yang lebih tepat sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan kemampuan matematis peserta Indonesia dalam International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) 2024 menggunakan K-Means Clustering pada enam tingkatan: Pre Ecolier (kelas 1-2), Ecolier (kelas 3-4), Benjamin (kelas 5-6), Cadet (kelas 7-8), Junior (kelas 9-10), dan Student (kelas 11-12). Data 92.529 peserta dianalisis melalui pembersihan data, standardisasi z-score, penentuan cluster optimal dengan Elbow Method dan Silhouette Score, kemudian pemodelan K-Means secara global dan per tingkatan. Hasil menunjukkan tiga cluster optimal pada setiap tingkatan dengan Silhouette Score 0.58-0.64, mengindikasikan kualitas clustering yang baik. Secara global, 48.5% peserta berada pada kategori rendah, 41.6% sedang, dan 9.9% tinggi. Analisis per tingkatan mengungkap dominasi cluster rendah-sedang (80-90%) dengan gap skor melebar dari 33,5 poin (Pre Ecolier) menjadi 44,2 poin (Cadet), menunjukkan divergensi kemampuan yang semakin tajam pada jenjang lebih tinggi. Clustering berbasis data kompetisi terbukti efektif memetakan heterogenitas kemampuan matematis secara representatif dan memberikan dasar empiris untuk pengembangan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi serta pembinaan matematika berbasis data

    This study was motivated by the low Arabic listening (istimā’) ability of third-grade students at MI Assegaf Palembang, which was reflected in their difficulties in understanding vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic conversational meaning. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using cartoon-based instructional videos to improve students’ listening skills. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental One Group Pretest–Posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of 23 students, and the data were collected through pretests, posttests, classroom observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ listening ability, as shown by the increase in the average score from 48.70 on the pretest to 67.52 on the posttest. The Wilcoxon test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), confirming that cartoon-based videos are effective in enhancing Arabic listening skills. These findings imply that engaging audio-visual media aligned with the cognitive characteristics of elementary learners can effectively increase motivation, attention, and comprehension in Arabic language learning.   Keywords: Instructional Video; Cartoon Film; Istimā’ Skill; Arabic Listenin

    Peran keluarga dan pesantren dalam menanamkan akhlak di era teknologi

    The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed social interactions, learning patterns, and moral orientations of younger generations. This study aims to analyze the role of families and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in cultivating moral values (akhlaq) amid technological advancement. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and document analysis involving parents, teachers, and pesantren caregivers. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify patterns of moral education practices. The findings indicate that families serve as the primary foundation for moral formation through modeling, supervision, and value internalization, while pesantren reinforce moral discipline through structured religious learning, habituation, and exemplary leadership. Technology presents both challenges and opportunities; when guided properly, it becomes a medium for strengthening moral education rather than eroding it. This study contributes to the discourse on integrated moral education by highlighting collaborative strategies between family and pesantren in responding to digital-era challenges. The results imply the necessity of adaptive moral education models that integrate religious values with technological literacy to foster morally resilient generations. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap pola interaksi sosial, cara belajar, dan orientasi nilai generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran keluarga dan pesantren dalam menanamkan nilai- nilai akhlak di tengah derasnya arus teknologi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan orang tua, pendidik, serta pengasuh pesantren. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola pendidikan akhlak yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keluarga berperan sebagai fondasi utama pembentukan akhlak melalui keteladanan, pengawasan, dan internalisasi nilai, sementara pesantren memperkuat pembinaan akhlak melalui sistem pendidikan religius yang terstruktur, pembiasaan, dan figur teladan. Teknologi menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang; dengan pendampingan yang tepat, teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana penguatan pendidikan akhlak.     The Role of Perceived Organizational Support and Interpersonal Justice in Shaping Affective Commitment Among Gen-Z Employees: The Mediating Effect of Intrinsic Motivation

    This study aims to investigate the influence of organizational support and interpersonal justice on affective commitment among Generation Z employees in the manufacturing sector, with intrinsic motivation examined as a mediating variable. Adopting a cross-sectional quantitative approach, the study surveyed 174 Gen-Z workers employed in manufacturing firms located in Cirebon, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) technique via SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis comprised evaluations of the measurement model, structural model, mediation testing, and hypothesis verification. The results demonstrate that both organizational support and interpersonal justice exert significant positive effects on affective commitment, both directly and indirectly through intrinsic motivation. These findings highlight the pivotal role of supportive and fair workplace environments in cultivating intrinsic motivation and strengthening affective commitment among Gen-Z employees. The study offers practical insights for human resource strategies aimed at enhancing employee retention and engagement in labor-intensive industries

    Customer Loyalty Through Word of Mouth, Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction as Intervening Variables

    Management must maximize marketing techniques in Bogor Regency's cutthroat hotel industry by enhancing service quality and utilizing word-of-mouth (WOM) to foster client loyalty and satisfaction. According to field statistics, the Jayakarta Mountain Resort Cisarua Bogor has less than ideal occupancy rates and poor levels of patron satisfaction and loyalty. The relationship between WOM, service quality, and customer loyalty is examined in this study, along with the function of customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study used purposive sampling to survey 150 participants using a quantitative, descriptive-verificative design. Using SPSS version 25, data were examined using path analysis and the Sobel test. The findings show that customer happiness, which in turn boosts customer loyalty, is positively and significantly impacted by word-of-mouth and service quality. Through satisfaction, both factors have a direct and indirect impact on loyalty. According to the coefficient of determination, WOM, service quality, and customer happiness account for 86.6% of the variation in customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction is a key mediating factor, according to the Sobel test. These results demonstrate that building loyalty in the resort sector requires improving service quality and encouraging favorable word-of- mouth. To foster long-term consumer loyalty, management is encouraged to implement customer-driven promotional initiatives, enhance service responsiveness, and fortify loyalty programs. In the end, customer happiness is the primary factor that increases the influence of word-of-mouth and service quality on loyalty, highlighting its crucial function in guaranteeing competitive advantage

    AI–Tree HR Model: Tree HR Personality Assessment for Strengthening Garuda Transformation School Human Resources

    National education transformation demands the strengthening of human resources (HR) with character, adaptability, and technological literacy. This article develops and tests the AI-Tree HR Model, a digital-based personality assessment system that integrates the HR Tree Personality with artificial intelligence. This model is built on the philosophy of the HR Tree Model (Ramly, 2023), which describes human development through three main structures: roots (values ​​and spirituality), trunk (competence and mindset), and fruit/leaves (behavior and work results). This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE framework and Agile Software Development principles. The research subjects consisted of 582 respondents (teachers, students, and principals) in a school environment who participated in the digital assessment based on the AI-Tree HR Personality System. Analysis was conducted using the Multi-Stage Weighted Index (MSWI) method on three main dimensions: ease of use, usability, and accuracy. The results show that the AI-Tree HR Personality system has high content validity and excellent reliability, with a total feasibility index of 92.7% (very feasible). AI integration improves the accuracy of assessment results, provides adaptive learning recommendations, and accelerates the process of mapping the character and potential of educators and students. Conceptually, this research expands the paradigm of local human resources, which are based on values ​​and spirituality, with the support of AI technology. Practically, the implementation of the AI-Tree HR Model will strengthen Garuda School's position as a model for national education transformation based on character, values, and technology towards the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045
